  If they are stored in a directory on the PC, then you should be able to leave them in the folder and they must convert from one printer to another. I would backup all files associated first of all, just to be sure.

  I use a HP Officejet 8600 aio n911a (CM749a) connected to a network via ethernet.

  My fax machine is currently set to 'Fax to Network Folder', but I would like to change this to 'Fax to Email. I went to the Fax tab and clicked on the HP digital Fax Wizard to try to change the 'Fax to Network Folder' to 'Fax to Email' but I cannot find anywhere how to do this.

  It only allows me to disable the HP digital fax or fax to network folder.

  I don't know if this helps, but I have configured alerts to e-mail through EWS/settings/Email Alerts, which seems to work fine. If the printer can send emails.

  I have my Officejet pro 8600 value fax NO response.  But when in phone... via phone calls connected to the phone in the back of the printer... and the line connected to the line port... the fax machine "will answer", which is to connect to the line and interrupt the phone call, I'm... NOT when the phone rings but after a few minutes into the call.  I have to click X on the touch screen on the printer or turn it off in order to retrieve the call.  Does it randomly but quite often to be a BIG problem.  I make sure that the printer is turned off unless I need to print.

Troubleshooting suggest not having your router wireless near a wireless phone, so I put the printer directly next to the router and still no detection.   I see you are having some problems connecting to your network of your HP Photosmart Plus wireless. You use a FiOS router, but installation is not able to see your wireless printer. You have a solid blue light on the front of the printer, what is the IP on the diagnostic page you printed and it says connected?

  I would like you to take a look here: the printer is not found during Setup wireless network in Windows. This document will guide you through the implementation of the IP address manually, please follow all the steps listed. I also recommend moving the router over 4 ' and less than 20 feet of the printer as having close can cause communication problems.

  If after all troubleshooting steps have been completed and you are unable to connect the printer to your wireless network, you may need to contact your router provider and have them open some ports that can block a successful installation.

  I have two of these mfprinters. One is physically connected to a phone line to fax while the other is not. Both are connected to my Wi - Fi and can receive the e-print jobs from mobile sources. Is it possible to send a document from the unit who is not connected to a phone line? I am aware that I can send a job via my Mac or pc but how to do when you are in unity with a document in my hand?
