OfficeJet Pro 8610: Printer restarts after installing wireless through the control panel of

I am the first time in this forum. Yesterday, I set up my new printer OfficeJet Pro 8610. With ethernet connection, it works fine. "When I set up the Wi - Fi connection, the printer in a few seconds said: printer eror, and on the printer" and restarts. Can you please help me solve this problem? I bought this printer for wireless operations during the first!

On my wireless works several laptops, mobile phones,... etc.

I have updated the printer with the new firmware, too.

Thanks for quick help!

Hello

Thank you for your response. As I talk with the support center to our country of Slovakia, the problem is on the router on the side of the internet provider. After the update of the firmware on the router, the problem of many was indicated by connections wirelessly with HP network printers. Provider is UPC Slovakia, UBEE router. I give the floor with their support, they will make the new version of the software. Thanks again for the good help from HP support!

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: Printing on HP Officejet Pro 8610 doesn't give any form printing

    Hello

I'm trying to help a client to their printing problems.

They have a Windows Server 2008 R2 Foundation install, they are trying to print from. The printer appears to have been installed properly and had been using the steps described in this article: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03351547

The issue, is that even when to print a test page, the page of the coils in the window "See what's printing" and disappears, as if she had been sent to the printer. No page out of the printer.

I restarted the server several times.

I can ping the IP address of the printer, and I can also access the page via Chrome.

The Officejet works with their computer Windows 7, which are on the same network.

    Am I missing something?

    Belle is not usable equal

The HP 8610 can care for the moisture content of the paper, or maybe the printer doesn't like the weight of the paper you are trying to use.  This is the simpler, more straightforward answer.

Assuming that you selected correctly before the type of media in the printing preferences for the printer knows what kind of paper to expect and how to react - the printer is maybe not able to manage this particular test.  If this is the case, and regardless of the perception of the quality of the paper, there is no way to force the printer to accept this document.  It is not a question of "bad paper" - it is a question of how the printer sensors respond to the book.

Beautiful paper is not always equal paper which is printed on each printer.  HP printers are not the only picky ones in the world.  All printers of high quality can respond to the report in this way.  You don't have to use paper HP, is told by the way.   Try different papers.  Place this paper somewhere cool and dry to store and try again later.

    Printing preferences

If you have not already done so, you can set the media type in printing preferences.

Setting the media Type tells the printer what kind of paper be expected; the printer sets the reels and the spring tension to pull the paper into the printer correctly.

    Hello @Markb60000,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer has problems when printing envelopes from your Windows 7 computer, as every other envelope seems to be ignored during the printing process. I would like to help you today with this problem to print the envelope. Now, the first thing I did after reviewing your post has been watching the media specifications for your specific HP Officejet. Just to let you know, the specifications of following envelopes are supported:

    • Envelope weight and loading capacity in Tray 1 of your printer are as follows:

    • The following envelope sizes are supported:

As long as you are printing on an envelope which is in the specific size and weight restrictions for your product, you shouldn't have any problem loading up to 30 envelopes in your bin at some point.

To confirm that your envelopes are loaded properly can I please have you click here. Once the support document opens click the drop down menu to "loading envelopes. Please check to confirm that you load the envelopes correctly in your paper tray.

    • If your envelope printing problem persists after checking that your type of envelope is justified and that they are loaded correctly, can you please specify what type of program you use on your Windows 7 computer to print envelopes of.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. I look forward to hear from you!

  • OfficeJet pro 8610: print labels avery

just started using my officejet pro 8610.  love it but I can't seem to aline sheets of labels when I print multiples.  When I print 3 copies it will make good on the 2 / 3. I have the tray loaded with about 50 sheets of paper of reg and then ask my sheets of labels above.  Have I not it overloaded or what.

    Hello pauldc,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see that you experience a problem when you attempt to print more than 3 pages of paper for labels at the same time.

You said that you have plain paper in the status bar, as well as the label paper.  Please delete.  Use just the label paper when you print labels.  It would be the same scenario that you were printing photos and using photo paper.  Remove all of the regular paper.

If you still have questions or if you have any other questions, feel free to write me again.

    See you soon,.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8610: print size

HI, I have the HP Officejet Pro 8610, I downloaded the HP all in one application.

I can print the pictures very well, but no matter what size option, I selected (4 x 6, 3 x 5 ets) - still, it prints a picture 8 x 10 - can someone help or give me the sense that the impression of small photos?

    Thank you

    Lori

    Hey @kardon1,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

I understand that you have some problems with small photo printing from the application of all-in-one remote control for your Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer. I can help with that.

What is happening is the size option you are using is select the paper size in the printer, not the size of the photo. If you want to print photos of 3 X 5 or 4 X 6 then you will need to reduce the size of the image before you load the all-in-One Remote App or load 3 X 5 or 4 X 6 photo paper in the printer. A final alternative is to print from a Windows PC or a Mac instead, that would give you much more control over how pages are printed.

Please let me know if this helps you with your printing. If this answers your question or solves your question then click on accept solution and if you appreciate my help then please click the thumbs up icon. You will find the two below my post. If not, have a great day!

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 8610: Printer cannot connect to the new wireless network

I got the OfficeJet Pro for a while and everything worked very well (including wireless printing from my Mac and iPad AirPrint). Yesterday, we got a new Modem Router (from Ubee). As I tried to connect the printer with the new network, I fail miserably.

Here's what I've tried several times: on the small screen of the printer, I select: Network Setup > wireless setting > Wireless Setup wizzard. The printer seems to networks, find the network and asks me the password, I get the password (I did this several times, so no typos!). The printer then "trying to connect to the network"... then it crashes: for a very short moment, I get a blue screen with a white error code (not always the same, for example.) B3FF3802) and then the message "error in the printer, turn off the power, then press.

I turned off the printer and turn it back on several times (incl. pulling out the power plug and restart after a while), but when I go through the steps above, but I just get the same endresult.

I deleted the old network as I feared it might interfere with the creation of the new network. No noticeable effect.

I printed the "results of the wireless network test," which confirms that "your HP printer is unable to connect to your wireless router. In the results of the diagnosis, he states that 'network name (SSID) was found - Fail.

I quite understand the message that the printer detects the network and shows good SSID / network name. I thought to enter the SSID manually but can't find where I could do.

I'd be very grateful for any suggestions on what could be the problem (I can't imagine that the printer would not work with a new router... I searched the internet and found stuff on 'Hello compatibility', but do not know which is the issue I'm facing.
