OfficeJet Pro 8615: Fax a lot of page at a time

I used my all-in-one for faxing several times beautifully, but when I need to send a response to an offer of our agency of 33 pages, I guess it was too much to do at once, then divided into two separate Fax. The first batch was 16 pages, but stuck on page 3... error message is no longer received a link or something similar. Tried 3 times separate as this was going on in his Inbox e-mail rather than fax equipment, wasn't sure if it was on his end. In the end, to consider somewhere and pay $33 to get it sent in time and he knew very well. Argh!

There are a limited number of pages that can be faxed at one point?

Was it because of printing extremely detailed on these pages?

There will be more fax regarding the sale of our home and would like to know for the future.

Thank you very much for any assistance and light any which can bring on this issue!

Hello @Happpy1,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you are having problems then to fax multiple pages on your HP Officejet Pro 8615 e-all-in-one printer to your real estate agent. I would like to work with you today with the resolution of this problem.

According to the specs on your machine management document, found here, your machine is able to contain up to 50 sheets at the same time in the bin. Therefore, if you have important faxes which lie in the ability of 50 pages, you should have no problem loading all pages at the same time and faxes.

Regarding the question of the communication that you guys met, Fax is old analog technology. Today, the telephone companies offer digital lines. Digital lines are OK to use, but it is much more static noise and interference on these lines which can cause faxes sending and receipt of the questions. If you are unable to fax to several numbers, except one, chances are he may have had an additional inference between your two fax machines that caused the fax failure. The only time where a fax should go to a mailbox is also, if the real estate agent is to use eFax service. eFax is email fax and is something that the Realtor would have subscribed and paid for. It allows faxes go to your email rather than a real fax machine.

One thing we can do to avoid potential future fax communication problems, would be to change two settings on your Fax. Please follow the steps below to change the settings of two.

  • Set the fax speed:

Because the digital telephone lines transmit packets at a pace much faster than analog telephone lines, there is a chance that your fax speed may be excessive and these facsimile information packets are lost. This packet loss would result in an incomplete fax, or failure of the fax. I'll have reduce you your speed of fax for testing purposes. If the fax speed does not resolve the problem you can activate it back up to medium.

  1. Press the power button to turn on the printer, if it is not on already.
  2. On the printer Panel, drag the screen to scroll to installationand then press the installation icon ().
  3. Press Setup Faxand then on Advanced Configuration of Fax.
  4. Touch Fax speed.
  5. Touch slow.
  6. Tap the home icon () to return to the main screen.
  • Disable the Mode of Error Correction (ECM):

Error Correction is normally activated. If your machine detects noises static or interference on the line the fax machine to fail. I'll have you turn off this feature to force your fax to go through, even if the interference is detected.

  1. Press the power button to turn on the printer, if it is not on already.
  2. On the printer Panel, drag the screen to scroll to installationand then press the installation icon ().
  3. Press Setup Faxand then on Advanced Configuration of Fax.
  4. Select the Mode of Error Correction
  5. Press OFF
  6. Tap the home icon () to return to the main screen.

Once these parameters have been adjusted, try it please send a fax to your real estate agent to see if the problem has been resolved.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. Good luck!

  • OfficeJet Pro 8615: Officejet Pro 8610 vs 8615?

What is the difference between the 8610 Pro Officejet and 8615?

I went to the HP website and the section with the Officejet Pro printers.  There, you can make comparisons, but they don't even list the 8615.

BTW, is there something wrong with this website.  When you access the Officejet Pro page and, for example, to check the 8610 and 8620, then click on compare, all you get is the price.  No details.

    Hello

The HP Officejet 8610 and the 8615 are the same exact printer, the 8615 is a submodel of the 8610 series and its specifications are the same

I can see the problem to compare, to which you refer, I'll forware this information.

Generally, the 8620 adds ADF duplex (copy, scan or fax from an original 2 faces) and a larger touch screen (4.3 '' inch by comparing a 2.65 "the 8610-inch display), are the 2 differences between models.

    Kind regards

  • How legal sheet and officejet pro 8600 fax

How do fax you a legal form on officejet pro 8600?

He has not worked for me; There are no settings on the bottom of the screen after using the ADF.  However, what works, it was to set up the legal size in copy mode before faxing.  But thanks a lot for the advice anyway.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8625: Image Officejet Pro 8625 fax on the confirmation report Include

I'm embarrassed to ask what he has been asked and answered before and the questioner was apparently able to operate on the answer. Unfortunately it does not work for me.

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/scanning-faxing-and-copying/OfficeJet-Pro-8620-include-image-of-fax-on-...

Here are the relevant instructions of the answer to the foregoing that I followed to the letter:

    1. in the Control Panel printer display, press and drag your finger

across the screen, then use the installer.
    2. press on the configuration of the fax machine.
    3. touch Advanced fax setup and touch Fax of Confirmation.
    4. tap on (fax) or we (send and receive).
    5. press on the Fax Confirmation with the image.

I noticed also followed the original poster:

When I got to the step in the instructions that indicate:

    4. tap on (fax) or we (send and receive).
    5. press on the Fax Confirmation with the image.

I was not completely doing step #4, I was looking only at the screen and viewing that she wanted the radio button on the Fax Send selected choice and did not bother to 'touch '. When I touch, he brought me another menu, where I could choose #5 Touch Fax Confirmation with the image.

Everything I did. I also made sure "Scan and Fax" was ONE. No joy in mufville.

Here's what I see on the report of Confirmaton:

    __________________________________________

    Note:

An image of page 1 will appear here only for faxes sent as Scan and Fax.

    ___________________________________________

    Hello

In the fax configuration Select Fax of Confirmation (on Fax Send) as you listed it, then remember to choose to include the first page in this menu.

From the main screen of the printer you select Fax and then press settings, set the method Fax Scan and Fax and confirm.

Now try to fax once more, do not forget to place the original pages on the top of the charger page, be aware that it does apply only for faxes sent from the charger, no glass flat.

Please let me know if this is useful,

  • OfficeJet Pro 8615: Printing on Officejet 8615 in the MS Office 2011 programs

I recently installed a new 8615 of Officejet Pro.  I can't print from MS Word 2011 or Excel 2011.  I can print from other applications, including Adobe Acrobat and Quicken. My iMac is connected to the wireless printer.  I downloaded and installed the latest driver of printer on the HP site.  Still unable to print.  When I try to print from Word or Excel, I get a message that says: "Word cannot communicate with the printer.  How can I solve this problem?  Thank you.

HA, silly me!  In any case, thanks for letting me know.

I am pleased that you can print one way or another.

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 6839: How to scan multiple pages in a PDF document.

When I try to do a scan of a long document 1 page, I have no idea where to add a page. When I scan my PC, there is a really different window. I choose crop, brighten, save to the folder without problem.  Not so on my MAC! It actually starts the scan as soon as I open the window with no choice and no place to save the document. Even when I close the window, it is not save it. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!

I thought that if I re - install the printer/scanner that would help but can not find the CD and don't know if it would help even when...

    Hi @ATreichel,

From your description, it seems that you use the scan of Apple rather than analysis of the HP software. If please download and install the full software features here and be sure to select the HP scanning when you see the prompt Select which software install: HP-Officejet-Pro - 6830_v12.36.0.dmg

During installation, you will notice is the recommended package which is preselected and additional software you need to manually select.

When you have completed the installation, you can find the following useful document for instructions scan using different methods. Please do not forget to select PDF when you scan a document multiple pages so that you can choose to save the pages in a single file. HP printers - how to scan to a Mac (OS X).

  • More HP Officejet Pro 8600 - Fax answering incoming calls instead of answering machine

I set up the fax on my new HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus & the fax at the end past all test report & yes I used the good cable for the phone (the one that came with the fax) However when someone calls, the fax picks up the call rather than the answering machine.

Can someone tell me how to fix this please?

If you get only fax from time to time, I suggest to turn off the auto answer on the 8600, and when you hear the fax tone, * #123 to tell the fax machine to pick up. In this way, you can leave your answering machine like that and do not miss faxes.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8615: Said connected HP printer is connected - but it will not be printed

Frustrated and fed up.  I installed the HP Office Jet Pro 8615 printer 6 times (stop, restart network, etc etc) but still can't make it work properly. It prints well word documents but it will not print web pages, or PDF documents. In order to print the text based on the web or e-mail, I cut and paste all of the text in a word document, then format it by removing all the images from the web and other junk and then print it - hey presto it finally prints.  It is a totally ineffective to make things and very frustrating way.

The computer-printer connection is wireless. According to the web page "HP plugged in", the printer is noted as in online and ready to print.

Why oh why this printer will not print correctly? I never had this problem with previous HP printers also installed the same way wireless.

I am located in France, using British English, the printer is the 8615 and I note that printing HP softward is referred to as 8610 if that makes a difference.

    Help.

A very helpful guy named David in HP Support fixed the problem/s by accessing my computer remotely and the printer is now finally working properly. Thanks for your comments.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8625 fax number Spooling

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8625 and I am running Windows 7 64 bit.  I only had this printer for a little more than a month.  Everything worked very well and works very well.  Recently, I tried to send a fax using the HP software that I have many times and the fax is stuck on the queue.  I ran HP print and Scan doctor and he tells me that I have not all installed software so I followed its instructions to install the software, restart the computer.  Same questions, I went to the HP site and used the troubleshooting guide and it passes all the tests I have them go directly from the printer.  I have no problem receiving faxes and their coming to my computer but it does not send as taken on the queue.  Any suggestions?

Thanks for letting me know. Let's try a few more:

I recommend you to uninstall the software on your computer by following this document HP here. Once this operation is complete, clean your Temp folder on your computer by following this document here.

Now, perform a clean boot on your computer by following this Microsoft document here. This will eliminate the conflicts of software that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program. Then you can install the full features on the site of HP software here.

Run software (Printer Wizard) HP Fax Setup Wizard. I would like to know how your progress!
