OfficeJet Pro 8630: Problem with cartridges

Hello:

They yellow cartridge in the printer ran out of ink.  Normally, this isn't a problem.  I opened my new pack of ink and replaced the yellow cartridge.  The printer freaked out and said that there was something wrong with the cartridge.  Not OK, so I put the old one back, no problem.  Today I went and bought a new series of color cartridges and replaced the yellow cartridge with that of the new box.  No, same thing.  It is said that the cartridge appears to be damaged.  It's new!  It really can't be anything wrong with each cartridge.  Any ideas?  I really need to be able to print some elements in the next day or so.

I ended up having to buy a new printer. This time, I bought the extended warranty. Thanks a lot for your help.

    Hello

Scan you from the glass flat or the top of the charger page?

If you use the charger to top of the page, the pages must be taken and analyzed before the scan to finish.

If you use glass, ensure that the box show the display after scanning is enabled and press scan, click on the button "+" under the preview of scanning to scan the next prior pages by clicking Save.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8620: problem with ink

Hello. I have nothing else to the HP printers used in my life using the computer - more than 25 years! I bought a new Officejet Pro 8620 2 years. I also bought cartridges refilled at the same time as my father died and I would need to use the printer a lot. Unfortunately, I bought ink another 3 times for this printer, when printing somewhere near 100 pages ALTOGETHER since the purchase. Problem is the printer keeps saying cartridge is not HP and damaged - should replace the HP cartridges. I've NEVER had a problem before using reloaded cartridges. Why change now? Am very close to get back to using my old computer Win XP and more old HP all-in-one printer. I have 3, and none of them has NEVER given any problems.

Looking for help on this. Have always had confidence in HP before - don't want to lose that now. Last cartridges were new HP, but still having the same problems. Suppliers of ink have been highly evaluated with excellent reviews. Warranty expired a year ago. Haven't had extended warranty because, as I said, never had a problem with HP printers to more than 25 years.

In addition, cellular internet very limited - and not (!) reliable. 50 miles of the city.

Yes, I learned a LOT over the weekend. First of all, I ordered a few inkplicity.com ink. Am curious about their ink, with their 1 year warranty. Shortly after ordering, I contacted Fuzoo, who then asked me to photograph both sides of the chip. I had no idea of the chip was removable. And actually, I see on the YoYoInk cartridges that the chip is glued in place. Then, I saw a few chips ink auto reset for sale online. And then began to find a lot of links and messages and articles on the chips of HP and the problems associated with them. Like my old printers were about 2000 or so, I had never met the problems associated with the current chips.

Now, Fuzoo has graciously agreed to replace not only the Magenta faulty cartridge (which has their 'old' piece), but will send a full order before, which was black (2) and a set of color inks. Can't get much better than this! So it would seem that I'm no longer need an explanation of why this happens - it's all about HP and their need to force their customers (who FREELY CHOOSE to buy their printers) in the purchase of HP ONLY cartridges.

It is a free country that is stuffed with capitalism. You'd be hard-pressed to get into any grocery store and NO search of generic items just alongside their counterparts in brand and usually for less money. You have car trouble? Generic (non - OEM) parts are available, as well as a lot of rooms refurbished. HP should remember their place in the grand scheme of things, or they will go the way of many other electronics companies. Trying to force customers to pay more for ink is bad. ... So this would increase the cost of the printers in the first place? Yes, probably. I was always ready to buy quality products when I could afford to, and HP printers had always been reliable but also easy to use. With this printer, I swore to the dang thing a lot more that I used it.

Please, ch, make the message and ease up trying to railroad customers. Even us loyal customers for a long time "' will leave! Don't forget, we are customers of HP by "choice"!

Problem is now solved. Thank you all for your comments!

  • HP Officejet Pro 8620: HP Officejet Pro 8620 - problem with wireless connection w/computer

    Hi all

I recently bought the HP Officejet Pro 8620 and I have problems connecting with my computer.

I used the Setup Wizard to connect the printer to the wireless network of my University, and when it's over, the blue light of connectivity remains a solid blue and the screen says it is connected, which is great. However, when I use the HP Officejet Pro 8620/software of connection instillation, I always get the message,

"-L' the entered IP address is either incorrect, or it is another wireless network that has the same name as your network." Please ensure that your printer has this IP or enter the correct address below and click on search. Also, confirm that you wireless network is unique. »

I did somehow on the printer IP address is copied 100% exactly the same with the points and the message still appears and my printer is unable to connect with my computer. As another option, it says that I can use the host name to find the printer as well. However, the same thing happens. I'll type in the name of host by number and letter by letter, and again, it does not find my printer. In addition, there is only 1 network name so I know I hit the right one. Being a student, it is very important that I get things printed off the coast, it is essential for me to solve this problem. Also, I spent a lot of money on it so I need to work properly.

It should be easy to communicate that it gives me all the necessary information right in front of me, but as I said, it was not easy or fun experience. I don't really know how IP work addresses but I tried to use all the only thing that I can find that is relevant. From now on, I have to record everything in PDF format on my computer, send me unwanted, printing documents download them on my Galaxy Note 4, connect my phone to the printer using the wireless HP Direct on the Officejet and then finally I can print my things. Yes, it works like this, but it is also a concern and I shouldn't do that. I realize that I can't buy a USB link cable to connect my printer to my computer but I don't want to ride the 2 every time I want to print.

(Also something to note, since I'm on WiFi from the University, I don't have access to the router of course so I don't know if this is a contributing factor in why things do not work).

If anyone has suggestions/advice/answers on the issue, please let me know. Thank you!

    Hello @Plz_Help.

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you have a problem connecting to your computer and your printer via Wifi from the University. I would like to help.

The only thing that really POPs, is that you use the network of universities. This can cause a lot of problems.

Question: When you connect your computer or Note 4 on the network, should a pop-up saying you accept the terms of service? If so, this would prevent an air of challenge the printer properly connected to the network.

If you had access to the router I would recommend checking the network connection by typing the printers IP address in a web browser. If you can access the printers webserver shipped, then, the connection is fine. If you can't you need to reset the router. Of course, you can do this.

Also, here's something to consider: If the printer successfully on the network, everyone else on the network will have access to your printer.

A USB connection will be the most reliable and safe way to go. Another thing, why send your rating 4 print jobs? Why not save the PDF files and connect the computer to the wireless network direct printers? In this way, you can print from your computer.

Sorry I can't give you a solution ' to do this and it will work. You must convince the universities IT department to get things related.

  • HP Officejet Pro L7590 problems with new software

    Hello

I have a HP all-in-one OfficeJet Pro L7590.  I had to move the printer on another computer that is running Windows 7.

When I install and try to print to the printer does not act as he did with the software that was on the old computer XP.

What I mean is that the printer will not print double side which is a feature that I used a lot.

I downloaded and reinstalled the software and downloaded used the HP print and Scan doctor.  When executing this I was told there was a driver conflict so I unplugged the usb cable and drivers have been removed and when I plugged it in new dirivers were installed.

Always when I go to properties and select Quick economy and printing on two sides he spits a page then the printer acts as if it was out of paper, and then when I press OK on the printer it prints the second page on another sheet of paper.  Note: What is printed on the 1st page prints correctly and what is printed on the 2nd page works properly for printing on the other side, but it is not the other side, but a separate sheet of paper.

Your help would be MOST APPRECIATED what!

Note: I repeat that the software that worked under Windows XP has never had this problem.  This new version of the software running under Windows 7 has a problem.

    Hello

Just to thank everyone who responded to my questions about the problem with printing 2 Facer on OfficeJet Pro L7590 by HP.  I did the following and it seems to have solved the problem of this printer DO NOT print on two sides of a sheet of paper.

1 deleted all the computer printer software

2 used the utility available on HP website washer to clean any persistent software that I couldn't find.

    3. set the printer back to factory defaults.

4 use HP printer Installation Wizard to find and install the fix version of the software that sits on the HP website.

Thanks again for those who repsonded and I hope the above helps anyone who might read this message.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8100: Problem with airprint

Our printer is officejet pro 8100. My iOS is 9.3.2 but not sure about the version of the printer. The first time we buy there worked with Apple airprint. Lately, we can't use airprint more which is very uncomfortable. EPrint still works well, however, we do not normally use it. We tried all possible solutions. The device can see the printer but when we choose the printer it disappears from the list. What should we do?

    Hello @Penny3425,

Thanks for dropping by the HP's Support Forums! I see that you can not use AirPrint with your HP Officejet 8100. You are still able to use the ePrint feature.

    Lucinell007,

As mentioned, I do not use Outloook - I him have not done for years.

    I might miss something else.

In general, if "scan to e-mail" is not allowing you to scan and then add text to your body of the email to send, and then you have the option that works for those of us suffering from the lack of sophistication E-mail:

    • Scan the images / document (s) in your computer and save the file (s)
    • Create an e-mail using your Outlook email client
    • Join the image / document (s)
    • Send the email

  • HP officejet pro 8610: cartridge HP officejet pro 8610 problem "" missing cartridge ".

I'm starting to think that this printer is an expensive paper weight. Now it says that I have a cartridge is missing when it is not.

4 reinstall the print head (which had to be replaced within 2 months of use)

    5. hold to turn off had new error warning me of 'install' a cartridge to avoid print

    6 repeat step 3

    7. off, unplugged from the wall and then reconnected the printer turned on no error for 10 minutes

    8 uninstall reinstall always error.

I don't know about other people, but I'm pretty tired of 'fixing' my new printer. I have never had a printer give me as many problems. And I do not talk to the tec who ask me to do the same things that I have done 10 times already.

I would send this return if my daughter had not taken the thrown n box.

So far I replaced the print head, if she felt blank paper, resolved to connect the printer to the laptop and do not use wifi, impossible to print from chrome resolved by resetting the printer and reinstalling chrome, resolved jammed paper tray when I realized that he was in position for the biggest paper... and now this new problem of bel...

If I post again and wait that someone mabe tell me something to fix this problem

    The display screen says FW-FDP1CN1502AR

I think I've identified the problem. I understand that many people have had this or a similar problem after I replaced the cyan cartridge. It seems that at the spring or anything that holds the cartridge in place releases and the cartridge comes out to disconnect his chip of the print head and snap the cartridge missing error. I discovered this after bumping the printer, almost at the same time the error appeared, I opened the door of the printer and discovered that the cyan cartridge was not "suspended."

I gave in and so far, it has worked, so I'll keep an eye on it. I had no other cartridge do that perhaps sa is a defect in the section with the printhead cyan cartridge. I've marked this as resolved in the hope that it may help someone with this problem.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8625: Problem with printer

I was connected to my printer wireless no problem for more than a month. Last week, we had an outtage of power for about 3 seconds, causing everything in the building to stop, except for my laptop of course. After the printer is back to the top, I tried to print something and it would not let me even if it was connected to the internet and so is my laptop. I restarded just to see if I can plug it back, but nothing won't work so far. When I go in my devices and printers, it says the network is connected, but the status says "Driver is not available." I don't know if it matters, but since then I have used my printer with a usb port. and also, I can print to another printer wireless in the office, but not mine.

Well, this should solve your problem:

    1. In your search type in printers bar and open devices and printers.
    2. Right click on all the icons in your printer listed.
    3. Click on remove the instrument.
    4. Repeat for all other icons of your printer listed.
    5. Click Add printer, and follow the prompts to add a new queue for your printer.

Please let me know if this allows you to print. If so, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.
