  Hello

  We try to use a HP Officejet Pro 8720 on a server terminal server Microsoft Windows Server 2008. We have the pilot configured the server terminal server and do not use the easy print driver. The printer prints not even with the easy print driver.

  When we print, we see the element in the local and remote queue and he leaves the queue of waiting but never printers.

  The printer is running the latest firmware and we use the latest driver on the HP site. We have several HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 s and several computers all have the problem. It has never worked. This is a new installation.

  It does not for us on Server R2 2012 either.

  Using the HP 8600 driver seems to work ok.

  Just bought the Pro OfficeJet 8720.  I could not find the preview option print that was on my previous HP printer.  Who has been removed as an option or I'm looking just in the wrong place?

  Pilot margin only gives the page layout preview to paper size option, etc.

  But as you preview option before printing, i.e. onl accessible to the general public as part of application-level console to show you the preview with the content of your document.

  For example - MS Word 2013 - you open a document > type the content > click the print or click file > Print > here you should be able to see the preview of the document as well as preview selected driver.

  Document will be color if you have selected the range of color printers, t would be graysale if the levels of grayscale is selected in the color printer or driver is mono driver.

  I just got the Pro OfficeJet 8720, I looked in the manual and cannot find a way to the place where to customize this feature.  On the printer you ave the opportunity to "scan to computer".  When you do so, you get a list of computers where to scan them to.  I don't have a problem with that.  The question I have, it the location where he recorded. Currently, it is by default in the My Documents folder.  Is there a way to tell it somewhere else... like a folder in my documents.   I can't find a way to tell him where to go.

  I got an OfficeJet L7590 and I was able to customize the location, but I can't "find a way to do it on this printer.

  I've implemented a new Officejest of 8720 Pro. I have a mac and wireless printing works great! HOWEVER, when I try to use airprint on my ipad or iphone he says that does not find all printers!...   Make sure that Hello and PPI are activated.

  Otherwise, this could be due to Admin disabled AirPrint, check via SAP:

  Try these:

  1. on the printer Panel, drag to the bottom of the drop-down list and select the Configuration icon.

  2. on the Configuration tab, select 'tools '.

  3. choose "Restore Factory Default.

  4. you will see a message appears asking if you are sure you want to restore the default settings.

  5. tap Yes. A message appears indicating that the default printer have been restored.

  6. press the home button () to return to the main screen.

  7 run the "Wireless Setup Wizard" from Control Panel if you need of a wireless connection.

• OfficeJet Pro 8720

  Printer has stopped printing - stays offline. Message says Traoré, that I can't find the driver. The installation program detects the printer, but it cannot print.  I have re-installed software twice. I bought this unit about 4 weeks ago.

  I updated the firmware now, but the question remains...  He appeared to see only the scanner but not the printer.  I wonder if one update of Windows 10 stopped things.

  1-restore default network of your printer

  2-set DHCP network configuration

  3. get mask subnet, default gateway, and DNS on your computer by typing ipconfig/all at the command prompt

  4. get the network configuration of your printer to compare values. Mask subnet, default gateway, and DNS should be the same

  5-make sure that the date and time is sinchronized

  6. make sure printer has the latest version of the firmware

  7 - enable web services in the web interface of your printer

  8 - reprint code claiming

  Any printer PCL3 as the Officejet Pro 8710, 8720 support only Photos of pritning from a USB (JPEG and BMP), it cannot print the document files such as ir PDF DOCX to a thumbdriver, but only to a computer...

  The HP Envy 5660 only support printing Photos from a device memory too, but only from SD card, there are not any USB port for a USB.

  None of the models above can only print from a computer or a mobile device...

  8730 Officejet Pro which is a postscript printer to print PDF, Word and Powerepoint support files directly from a USB (Latin characters), however it is a commercial product and cost more as such:

  First... it takes a LONG time for the computer to open itself.

  I understand that you have a printer of HP all-in-one OfficeJet Pro 8720 which took a long time to initialize and is now stuck in a mode 'check' cartridges after the reboot it because transport would not move to the Center. I would like to help with that.

  I would start by doing a Reset of the power on the printer.

  

  If that fails to solve the problem, you might want to speak with HP Technical Support as there may be a hardware problem.

  As a society, we standardize more than 150 sites on the new printer HP Officejet Pro 8720.

  We ordered about 8 at our dealer online recently (Softcat) and each arrived with a European power cord 2 pin and not a power cord 3 pins of the UK.

  This causes significant confusion for our end users, and I think that it is illegal to even provide goods in the EU without the correct national power cord.

  Our retailer say that HP have armed upward and shipped loads of these 8720's without the correct power cords. It seems that a mass surveillance on HP is illegal and a part too? How can this happen?

  Surely all stock the 8720's should be limited to the British market and fixed with the right power cord?

  I have not reported this Exchange Standard yet, but I want to just get an idea of what's going on?

• OfficeJet 8720, scan to folder very slow network. any tips?

  I just upgraded to Officejet pro 8600 to 8720.

  The 8720 prints well, but it is incredibly slow for scanning.   Can't believe how slow it is compared to other HP products I've used.

  Is there advice, suggestions on how to speed up scanning?  Or do I need to buy a more expensive model for a faster sweep.

  Hi @atomarchio,

  I was check in this issue and found a number of things that can help.

  Replace with the IP address of the computer that hosts the folder targets of network for the name of this computer.  For example, if the network path is listed as \\david\8670scans, change it to read \\192.168.1.102\8670scans.

  Turn on the printer and try again.

  I am running OS X Sierra on 2012 MBA with an HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 printer / scanner.

  I noticed that after the upgrade to Sierra that the scan function no longer works... I tried to uninstall / reinstall the device, but the problem continues... I have checked the Apple Web site and notice that the HP OfficeJet 8600 is listed as a compatible scanner.

  I note also that the 8600 OfficeJet is connected as a printer via WiFi network and worked perfectly with the captain.

  With:

  1 has anyone else experienced this problem?

  2. What if anyone has found a solution / workaround?

  responsibility to provide drivers to work for an update of the OS is with the developer of this device, not Apple. visit the page of the developer for your make and model camera and see if they offer drivers, otherwise contact the developers. Apple will sometimes provide printer drivers, but if a device is a legacy printer the developer may choose to retire it from use.

  I have a HP Officejet Pro 8600 + which is coming up with an error message. This just happened out of the Blue yesterday. The printer is a little older than a year.

  It is said:

  "There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Printhead not missing not detected incorectly installed or incompatible.

  I've deleted and reinstalled ink cartridges, head, unplugged, cleaned up, etc etc.

  It seems to be a bad printhead, or it needs manually cleaned with water and lint. If these steps do not resolve the problem, contact HP (1800-474-6836) support.

  My son-in-law installed the hp officejet pro 8600 and cannot access the toolbar above or get it to sit still without moving. So I can't access my history, bookmarks, etc..
  Even with the toolbar at the bottom as well.

  Right-click in the empty area (next to the tabs) and make sure that the option 'Bar' personal is selected. I hope this helps.
