OfficeJet Pro K850 - ink cartridge does not print
My K850 printer is not printing cyan. According to the Toolbox of the K850, cartridge series cyan was 75%, and the health of the print head has been fair. The cyan cartridge was beyond its expiration date I replaced it. The new cartridge does not better than the old cartridge print. Before I spend another $40.00 + did someone has something to suggest?
Although the cleaning of the print head has helped a little, it did not help, so I bought a new cyan print head. When I installed the new print head, the printer automatically aligned to the printhead and now cyan works very well. Unfortunately, the alignment process pointed out flaws in magenta and Yellow Printhead. Now everytime that I print anything the printer goes through a continuous systematic alignment printhead to try to correct the magenta and Yellow Printhead, waste of paper and ink, until I cancel all print jobs. New cleaning of the printheads and the contacts did not help. In the end, no matter what is the status of print head in the tool box, replacing the print heads is the only solution that worked.

Recently, I replaced the ink cartridges on my Photosmart 7510 C311A. These are all the "genuine HP cartridges ', full.
Black ink (with the symbol of the Pentagon) does not print, not at all. I ran through the standard troubleshooting steps:
Cleaning of printheads
Cleaning of copper contacts
* Check for a good evacuation
My colleague in the corridor as the printer even so I borrowed his black ink cartridge and tried: same problem. The printer does not record that there is a problem, but when I run printing tests, where there should be a black ink, there is absolutely none. All other colors print correctly.

I had the same problem. I had replaced the empty cartridge black and suddenly, no ink. Finally, what has worked is
(1) I removed all the cartridges and cleaned the copper connectors with wet Publix.
(2) I got a wet paper towel and he pressed repeatedly on the silver circular vent that would be under the black cartridge. I did until no black came. Let it dry.
(3) I replaced all the cartridges and on the printer. I went to tools/clean the cartridge. I did it a couple of times and he finally printed black ink! I confirmed by going to tools/align, and align the cartridges successfully. He had kept before crashes when the black ink did not work.
I put a new ink cartridge in the printer by default printer Hp laserjet 3020, but it prints as if the cartridge is dry.

I don't really know when this problem started, as I often do not print Microsoft Office files on this printer, but today I tried to print things in 2013 of Microsoft Office. Even if the grayscale setting has been disabled - they always printed on this printer in grayscale. I tried to print on two of my other printers and they printed color very well with similar settings for these printers. I tried to print my email address on the 8500 - it printed color very well. I restarted my HP8500A, and I got the same results. I restarted my computer, the same results. I went ahead, downloaded and installed Microsoft Update Office 2016 think there must be a problem somewhere. It made no difference. When I print to the 8500 with shades of gray turned off in Word and print selected in Publisher - RGB I'm still printing in grayscale. I take the same documents and I print on my other printers (HP Photomart C5580 All in One) and HP Deskjet 1000 and the same Microsoft Office 2016 documents will be printed in colour on both printers. I'm running out of ideas to try to correct the problem. Any ideas?
Thanks for your reply. After trying a few other things, I saw that page print test HP and the Scan doctor kept coming out in grayscale, but still the print quality diagnostics Page was in color and everything was reported as good. I just decided when all else fails, uninstall the printer driver and then reinstalled as it was the last thing to reset. I have restarted everything, kept my fingers crossed and all print in perfect color! For now at least! So, I would say that my problem is solved and if it happens again, I'll uninstall and reinstall to try to resolve that obviously some sort of glitch mounted in the driver software.

My ink level is full. I just replaced my black cartridge (with genuine HP cartridges). No black is printing. I tried all the troubleshooting tips including the alignment of the printer, clean the print head. Remove and reinsert the cartridges. I replaced the cartridge several times during the past year is nothing new. Can't understand why black will not only be printed.

Purchase was about a month to six weeks - waiting for the old cartridge to run out. Where red is normally printed is a shade of light green. Open to a suggestion of how to fix this problem. The printer is my old reliable Deskjet 990Cxi. The system is a HP Tower. works with Windows 7 SP2. This result occurs when the test page is printed when you install a new cardtrige (s) and when I print a document using Word with red symbology. There is no error message, just the eye ball and see that the page is incorrect. I bought HP cardtriges four or five times before with no problem, as long as they are not available in retail stores more.

black ink does not print and alignment fails. I cleaned the printheads through all the levels. The colors print perfectly but black will not print. I have reset the printer, run test pages, but still no black ink and unity trys to align, but fails. The unit is no longer in warranty.
