OfficejetPro 8600 - unexpected printing on every second page of output image

HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911g product number: CM750A

Printer has been in service for about 2 months, use of light (says page counter: 332).  Suddenly, today, every second page output (printed or copied) prints with a superimposed image mask which is actually a page to an external Web site.

How could an image stored (and ongoing) like this in the device?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sunshyn2005,

I really enjoy taking the time to present a detailed approach to investigate this matter.  It is reassuring to know that it's really mysterious.

However, in the meantime, I had taken drastic measures: I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software for printing on all connected computers and the problem is not (so far) reappeared.

Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 spits out a blank second page when receiving faxes

I have a brank new Officejet Pro8600 and it's the same as my last HP all-in-one has started doing.  Even if he receives only one fax from page, it seems to read as two pages and also spits out a blank second page.

My frustration is more, because I just replaced my last all-in-one to do the same thing.  It's a waste of paper and very boring.

I'm happy that I got this sent to me, because I was really pulling my hair, and it looks like you are too.  I finally came up with a workaround, that nobody at HP and Verizon could help.

Finally, I changed the configuration of the fax on legal size paper, and it works like a charm.  For some reason, it was as if the received fax was not aligning with the dimensions of the letter, but now that I changed the settings, I have more the problem of paper all this waste.

  • OfficeJetPro 8600 n911g print driver

    Hi guys.

We recently purchased the device mentioned about the topic and we want to install this printer to a Print Server 2003 Server (32-bit), the driver is not available from HP and I could not find what I tried...

Do you think I can find the driver anywhere? or maybe another pilot from the same series would work?

    Thanks a lot in advance

Hi... I thank you for your answer, this is the case, I download the 32-bit Windows 7 and some driver the exe with Winrar to choose the INFs to him and he simply worked with Server 2003 32-bit.

  • HP LaserJet P1606dn of duplex professionals second page prints upside down

Sided printing worked fine when I arrived at the printer.  Now second page prints upside down.  I tried to install the driver XPS that worked once, but not now.  I have at least 8 copies of XPS Laserjet P1606dn of professional on my computer.  None of these troubleshooting options on any of these working copies.  I tried to reinstall the software of origin, but in vain.  Now the only copy printer I have that works, one side only, is hp p1606dn copy 3.

    Help, please

Success, finally.  The application of service worked for me, after several tries.  I was able to remove all instances of the printer and re install.  The professional p1606 HP Laserjet still printed upside down, but after having installed the XPS (a previous forum suggestion suggestion) version it worked.

Thank you.  I'll search the app of congratulations and give him a boost upward!

  • Second page of two reverse printing pdf pages

In the last two days, two-page PDF that I record off CS6 want to print the second page upside down. I tried to re-register documents - did not work. Tried to save PDF documents in individual and combining PDFs in Acrobat - did not work. I had colleagues print, and the second page is an upside too. When I print a two-page PDF file that I saved the last week or more ago, I have no problem at all. It just seems to be the case with PDF files recently recorded. I didn't update any software on my computer between save PDF files that print correctly and only when this problem started.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

ERMM... Not a post not to uncheck auto-rotation?

    What is Mac or Windows?

Have you checked the print drivers are up to date?

    Have you reinstalled print drivers?

On Mac, it can be helpful to remove the printer in the printer preferences in system preferences, then add it back.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600-duplex printing upside

Help! I finally got the two-sided print job, but second page is upside down.

    Hi Nana50

It seems that one of the parameters must be changed. Use the following link to adjust settings to print on both sides of the page without side being updated down. > Print on both sides of the paper (duplex printing)

I suspect that you currently have selected short edge binding, you will need to choose binging long edge.

If you want to see an example of both take a look at this video > 2 sides print Long Edge against short edge

I hope this helps. Please let me know if that fixes the problem, thanks.

  • HP photosmart 7520: 2 Facer print second page prints upside down

The printer did not work properly on Windows 7 I therefore deleted and downloaded the driver on the internet. Now when printing duplex, the first page prints correctly but the page on the back of the first page is upside. Please help me with this.

    Hey @Jo38,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see you have some problems with the printing of your Windows 7 PC to your 7520 Photosmart e-all-in-one printer. I can help you with that.

What is happening is there is a duplex option that allows you to alternate between having to return to the page along the long edge or short edge. If you go to where you selected your double-sided printing and change the impression to the other option, the second page will print with the correct orientation.

Please let me know if it solves your problem. If so, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • LaserJet 1102w: force print the second page, Laserjet 1102w

    Hello

New laptop.  I can print fine from the front.  When I try to print double-sided printer, as normal stop, after that the first page is complete, but used 'popup' support to continue does not appear.  OK, I'm working on this one.  But is it possible that I can press something on the printer to say "go ahead, print the second page."?

    Thank you!

    Evan

    Hello @evanmjones,

It is a great place to get help! I read your post and see that you do not get the option "Continue" to print the second when the double-sided page. I want to help you solve this problem.

You can continue the second page by opening and closing the printer cover. (this model does not have a resume button)

Make sure that manual duplex printing option is selected from the printer driver:

    1. Click on the Windows icon (), and then click devices and printers.

    2. Right click on the HP product and then click on printerProperties.

    3. Click the device settings tab.

    4. The manual Duplex allows to "Enabled" and click OK to save the change. (click on the + to expand the list)

Ensure that the bidirectional Support is enabled.

Go to start, devices and printers, right click on the printer, the printer properties, click the Ports tab, put a check mark next to allow bidirectional support.

You may have to restart the computer.

    Try to print again.

If you're still having problems, try printing from another application to see if you have the same results, it could be a setting in the application of double-sided printing.

You need to maybe uninstall and reinstall the printer if the problem persists.

You can click on the "accept as a Solution" If the problem is resolved and the 'Thumbs Up' for my effort. Please hold me. Good luck!

  • Double-sided print second page upside down HP6700

When I print 2 Facer, the second page is upside down. I looked for solutions on this forum and on the net, but nothing helped. I have installed new drivers, checked all the available boxes. The one I need ('turn page' or something like that) is not found.

I have a new HP6700, to replace an old HP6700 which made duplex very well, but became old. Why is it suddenly so hard to make something of my old printer without problems?

I use a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.9 laptop.

I hope someone can help me.

    Hello Cheetah12,

Thanks for your reply. In the meantime I discovered that the most important step is NOT to install the printer via AirPrint, but using HP6700. Only, then you have the possibility to click on the duplex option and install the printer with the 4.1.2 pilot.

The solution mentioned by Roger2499 in the following thread has helped me tremendously, after a day of frustration!

  • I have a photosmart hp7510 this prints the second page upside down - mac 10.7.5 duplex.

I have an iMac running 10.7.5. I just purchased and installed a Photosmart 7510 - because the guy at the Apple store said double-sided printing. It's - second side upside down. I downloaded the latest drivers. At least, I think that I did, on the HP site. In the pain of the preference system, I chose "duplex unit". When I print a document in portrait of multi pages I want two-sided, in the printer dialog box I select two gutter on the side face and long. The result is that the second page is upside down. As if I chose binding short side. If I change my binding on the short side, I still get the same results. The second page is upside down. I searched all over the web a solution. I've seen all sorts of 'solutions '. Including the ole standby to print it even turn the pages and printing all odd. I bought this printer, so I didn't have to do. I downloaded a program that everything converted to PDF format and was supposed to solve the problem. Nope.  I can't be the only one with this problem, I can. I never thought that I was unique.

That's all. Confusing since I tried the features "airprint", that's what I chose. Removal of the Photosmart designated airprint and adding Photosmart solved the problem. Thank you.

  • Network HP printer feeds a blank page between every printed page

My HP network printer feeds a blank page between every page printed when I print from my laptop running Vista.  Printer feeds not the white pages from another laptop under XP.

So I would appreciate any suggestions.  Thank you and happy new year.

Thanks, but it was one of the first things I did.  In fact, what worked was to go to the printers, made folder right click and open as administrator, open the properties, open Advanced options, then open "new driver".  You can search for "Hewlett Packard" (NOT use the abbreviation HP) and download the nearest driver for my printer.  The printer now prints only what I asked with no inbetween fed additional sheets each printed page.  Yay!  Finally.

I spent hours on the Internet, knowledge of HP basic research on the Microsoft Knowledge base.  The answer was mentioned in the update from HP for my printer, of all things!  When I read one of the updates was 'PC Printer Communication issue.'  Seemed to be yet another expression to search for an answer, but it was worth One More Try.  It worked.  http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/printer-all-in-one-software-and/BD-p/software  It is under the HP Support Forum.  So, it OF here!

  • Form to be completed online will not print the second page

I created a form with two page Acrobat with Adobe InDesign.  Everything seems to be in agreement with the form, except that the second page does not print.  The first page prints fine, but the second page closes like a blank page without content in the form or the data entered by the user.

    2012-2013 development funding application

Thanks to you all.  My Department has been able to help me.  Because the form was created in InDesign, I've exported as an interactive PDF and could not change the printing options.  Something in the configuration of InDesign required Postscript drivers and all our internal printers contain PCL drivers.  They added the PS drivers and we are now able to print the second page.

  • 5580 HP is by default to print CD every time - when I want to print a page

    Greetings,

I have a 5580 HP that worked fine until I changed systems (Dell 8250 to 8300), now whenever I try to print a page I need to go to properties and change the "print on a CD" print on page.

In other words, he has somehow to print CD default print mode.

I am connected via the USB port, which is important.

Any ideas on how to change the default settings?

    Help would be very appreciated

    So, I thought about it.

Go to "Hp Solution Center".  Click on "settings".  Click on "printer settings".

What that you choose here automatically becomes the default.

NOTE: when I changed "Printer settings" in any other place, other than the HP Solution Center, it would not change the default value.  Then, when I would print from a web page, involking the print dialog box, and then I click 'Properties' and get 'The printer settings' page (even when you browse the HP Solution Center, I could change it to a print job, but he would not change the default value.

Once again, in summer, to change the default printer settings:

    HP solutions Center (software)

    > Settings (on the lower navigation bar)

    > The printer settings (whatever you choose here becomes by default)
