• Offset of the user interface after update of El Capitan

  Hello. Since I upgraded my Macbook Pro late 2013 to El Capitan retina, I've known GAL of the user in function, mainly opening animation of safari and switching between desktop computers. These issues are only to make my user base, I created a test user and concluded that the test user was not the offset of the user interface. I have reinstalled the operating system, as well as talked to apple. Apple had me reset the Pram so that delete files, including:

  / Library/LaunchAgents

  ~/Library/LibraryAgents

  / Library/LaunchDaemons

  / Library/Caches

  ~/Library/caches

  and many other files like these.

  None of that helped, my UI lag is still there and fine. Also, I'm not sure if this is relevant; However, my recovery HD (available from start by pressing the alt/option key) is not an option. I'm not sure if the files I deleted with apple support caused it or reinstalling the operating system has done this. IM thinking delete files because I reinstalled the operating system using the HD recovery.

  Does anyone know how to fix the lag in the UI? I know other people have this problem, google search and this forum but no clear answer has not developed.

  Please launch the Console application in one of the following ways:

  ☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

  I run intoanother apparently simple problem, but I just can't get my head around it.

  I want to set up a simple menu of execution of a control where the user can select different options.  RTM reviewed and set by default no problem.  Right-click on the control when running, the correct menu does appear, no problem.

  Problem arises when I want to set the menu checked or unchecked entry. My problems are:

  1. Why didn't - not the refnum menu that appears in the "Selection of the Menu?" events (user)  Do I have to intercept the reference of the event "Meu activation?" menu for control?
  2. When I catch the reference in this way (changes reference to each menu selection), I get "Menu invalid 1160 error" when I try to change the items in checked or unchecked...  I store the reference in a registry to offset for later use when a different menu event is triggered.

  Can someone please take a look at this VI and let me know what I am doing wrong?

  Why the run menu not can not simply be read of the property of a control node?  It would be so easy.   Or if I know the name of file for rtm, how can I get a valid reference to it?

  Sorry what are silly questions, but I just can't understand it right now.

  Make these changes in "activation of the Menu (user) selection event?

  The menu "(user) the Menu selection event" is after the display was done, so it is normal is not to place a check (make a change)

• The size of the menu bar

  I am doing some testing with the functions of the Parent/child window in Windows.  At this point, just trying to see what I can do and see I can perform some basic window using manipulations, and then I'll do it in a more formal tool.  One of the things I'm trying to do is to move a child window in a parent window.  It works fine using the MoveWindow User32.dll call, the only thing I noticed however is that when I put to go to X = 0 and Y = 0, it will enter in the top left corner of the parent window, but it will be on the top of the menu bar and toolbar of LabVIEW, if it is planned.

  Attatched is a small example that shows what I mean.  It will insert the notebook in the VI to 0.0, but it will be on the top of the toolbar and the menu bar.  Is it possible to know the size of the menu bar, so I can have a lag so 0,0 fall below these UI elements?

  I see. in this case, you may need to add an offset spesific for different updates page with anchors and based on the location of where change of resolution:

  you would use ID at all that will change your layout and you don't want that. in this case change all your refferals in a label - anchors

  and then in the CSS position them based on the resolution in a relative path:

  In short: all the ID change them as anchors instead of ID, then according to the resolution change the value at the top so it fits perfectly in all the page layouts.

  PS. my suggestion if possible rather collapse the header make more minimalist height when the user scrolls down, so it's less work and it takes less space in the content.

  I downloaded the demo of first elements 11 yesterday and it am assessment for purchase.

  My first project is a blu - ray concert player.  I'm on Windows 7 64 bit.

  The project settings are:

  Square of 720 p AVCHD pixels

  1280 x 720

  29.97 FPS

  offset 30 fps timecode

  I want to create a simple menu for blu - ray (IE a HD menu) which has still a background and simple text buttons.  The top menu would just "concert to play" and "track selection" text-only buttons.  The "track selection" button will lead to a page with all the track names in the form of buttons that point on stage for each track marks.  That's all.

  I don't see that templates pre-installed, and none of them have the designation "HD" in the upper right corner.  How can I make the menu I want to?

  EDIT:

  I see that you put the text file only in the common directory. Try to create a directory of category (let's call it 'Text' for example) in the common directory and put the text record only in it.

  I just did and the text pattern does just great in version 11. You can even see thumbnail previews of the model in the movie Menus workspace!

  An application that I used works option "menu bar black" of OSX and while I like it better than the light menu bar some of my menu icons are not visible in dark mode and so I would like to disable. However, the problem is that I can't. Whenever I have untick "use the menu bar black and anchor" setting in system preferences > general, nothing happens. Then when I close the system preferences and open it again, I find that the box is checked once more. (I also uninstalled all traces of the original application that made that change, reinstalled, tried to turn the option off, clear again, etc. - all without success).

  I tried to check in the Library/preferences /. GlobalPreferences, but it doesn't seem to be an option for this setting (while I can see the setting to hide the menu bar).
