old page back concerns

http://211nemichigan.org/home.html why is it showing our new images on only this page and return to the last pages, sometimes also. without title, 1, 2, 3/4 for example.

You have 2 separate sets of pages on your site. Default homepage of your site is called index.html and will appear if you go to just www.211nemichigan.com. Then you home.html which does not appear as if you click on "Home" to some pages, otherwise the link is index.html (as it should)

For example:

1. from your index.html page, click on "give help." It brings you to a page named index - 3.html

2. click on 'Get Help' from there will take you to a page called gethelp.html

3. click on the button Home here you will take to home.html, no return to index.html as expected.

On index.html, your menu links to index of-1, index 2, index 3 and index-4.

On home.html, your menu links to mediareports.html, gethelp.html, givehelp.html and adresses.html to the same links, thus creating confusion if you click just randomly through your menu systems. I've not dug further, but I'd be willing to bet that you have a mixture of links index-# .html and pagename.html throughout your site that need to be changed to one or the other (whichever is most recent).

  • Can I run an old program BACK under Vista?

Is it possible to run an old program BACK on a Vista operating system. either 32 or 64 bit?

I found a simple painless 3rd party open source solution. It is simply done by running a BACK EMU called Dosbox.

Use the latest version of www.dosbox.com.

Read the easy to understand by the Doc for the command line interface commands. Worked perfectly the first time to run an old (something 80) BACK ASCII B & W strategy game that I use to start BACK on a 4 platform mghz v3.2 clone IBM XT.

Options > Advanced > Applications. Remove the current BBM 5

Install your current OS on the device (if you have OS 4.7, look at options > about, third line down, starting with a "v.4.xxx")

    What is yours?

Now install this OS on your PC and run the application loader to install the old version.

I guess this is the part of the vmx file that I need to change, right?

    scsi0:0. FileName = ' / vmfs/volumes/0d1d8431-87d719b0/Suse11.1/Suse11.1.vmdk '.

Yes. Assuming that it is the entry that you got to choose the vmdk in the user interface, you need to only replace the vmdk with Suse11.1 - 000002.vmdk

  • ICE displays old page; newly published page

I have been using ice for about 4 months with no problems.  I had recently updated a page via Dreamweaver.  This update is live and working via browsers.  However, when I go on the ice on this page; It still shows the old page.  The update was made 7 days ago.  Other updates made this day there on other pages appear in Ice then updating shouldn't be a problem

This is the page in question: http://www.ndccalliance.org/Conference2009.php

GoTo page in question--> connect you to ice--> press Ctrl - F5

See if that does not load the right page...

If not; What is the page loading in the browser saying after ... includes/ice/ide.html#page= /?

Let me know as soon as you test this point.

  • After the last update of Firefox, browser will not restore previous session after accident/quit. It restores the old pages, not newer. And no ' oops! embarrassing page.

Has taken my MacBook Pro to repair and they have updated my software, including apparently Firefox. I have FireFox 50.0.2 Mac OS x 10.9.5. Now I no longer get the "Oops!" It's embarrassing"page after a crash or a restart, and when I click on 'restore previous session', Firefox opens again the old pages, which some I no longer need and do not open most of my recent pages. I think I clicked on all the right settings, including "remember my story." Someone knows what to do? Thank you!

You may have corrupted sessionstore file (s). Delete all files sessionstore * and the sessionstore-backups folder.

Type of topic: support in the address bar and press to enter.

Under the logo of the page on the left side, you will see Basics Application. Under this find Profile Folder. To his right, press the button view file. This will open your file for the current profile of Firefox browser. Now close Firefox.

Find the file above. Then rename or delete it. Restart Firefox.

  • There was a story on the "back" arrow a tiny small downstairs Click arrow where I could choose a specific page of the past to return. He saves hit it and reload the old pages that I want to jump. What can I do now?

in the upper left corner of the toolbar, there is a 'back' arrow and an arrow "forward." before the latest version of the software update to firefox, I used a teeny tiny "down arrow" who was to the right of the "arrow". When I clicked on the little arrow 'down', he showed me a list of all the pages that had recently been opened; not only can a website I visited, but all pages I had sailed on this Web site. I used the arrow 'down' as a shortcut to return to a specific page, to have to click the arrow on the "return", like ten times or more. I really, really, really like for you to put this feature on the back, or tell me what I can do instead. Thank you.

Click with the right button on the Back / Forward buttons for a list of visited sites.

You can also install this add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker/ which will give you the back of the small arrow.
