  I often get files from a source that uses an open office program. I am able to open the. ODT file, but embedded OLE object appears as text. The object is a logo, so I'm not all that concerned however, I wonder if there is a way to convert the file so that the OLE object appear to printing purposes. I downloaded an app named "Document converter" on the App Store and I am able to open .odt file in MS Word for Mac but the OLE object still does not appear. Ideas for a job here?   .ODT is a file "Open Document formaT". Word 2010 for Windows supports this format, but their infinite stupidity do not justify this in Word for Mac same word in 2016 of Office for Mac does not support this format. OLE stands for Object Linking and Embedding and was a way to incorporate one document inside another and I believe was originally designed by Microsoft. A typical example where it will be will work not on a Mac is when a Visio or project document is embedded in a Word document, because even if obviously a Mac can read Microsoft Word files it can read Microsoft Visio or Project files. In theory embedded Excel, Word or file of standard chart for example, jpg, png, etc. must be displayed on a Mac.

  I'm not aware of a way to determine what might be the embedded object.

  You could try various other programs that support this format e.g. OpenOffice and Google Docs and see if they do a better job to convert.

  First, drag the image on the desktop, and drag it to Corel Draw. If your dragging directly from firefox to Corel Draw, only copied link.

• The brightness of the backlight OLED VF /.

  It's my first foray into territory OLED.

  From the B & W 2 "CRT world, it is difficult to find a setting that works when shooting outdoors on this OLED. I understand, there is no backlight on VFs OLED, but I have to crank the contrast to bring to a place where I'm comfortable shooting in direct sunlight.

  That's fine, but sometimes the camera/VF will forget to apply my contrast setting at startup. Is not as long as I have access to the menu and changed the contrast of value of + / 01 as the increased/backlight luminance / 'contrast' between in action.

  I was wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences.

  It will not answer your question, I'm afraid. But I love working with the OLED VF, it is very crisp and gives me a clear indication of what I do.

  Everything first, thanks Sony and Peter for this year and you have been able to follow all updates of firmware as expected!

  I just updated my F55 3.0 and everything works fine in addition to a particularly strange thing... The image in the VF Oled seems fine, but not the displayed news and data, the menu etc. All of the text and the info in the VF seems to have lost its 'resolution', I mean it seems mad and bad. When I connect a monitor to a SDI output menus and data looks like a lot, but not in the VF.

  I did a whole reset twice, but it does not help. I also tried to play with the VF, disconnected the cable and press the power on and off display. Someone at - it was through the same?

  PC with windows XP.

  The user is trying to connect to a database program.  When he enters his user name and password on the database, it gets the following error:

  You must specify the user name and password of the account and the correct POP3 and SMTP servers and their ports.  Only your email account provider can give you this information if you need to contact them to find out the values and settings are correct.  Who is not involved in what e-mail program, you use, you must always provide this information.

• Problem with OLE system

  When I go to save files and as I click on the drop-down list to change the location of the file, my system hangs for 2 to 10 minutes.  I tried to save a file in Excel... clicked on file, then save as, and when the drop down menu appeared I tried to change the file in the box SAVE in... the system is blocked.  I finally got a message that MICROSOFT OFFICE EXCEL IS WAITING for an OTHER APPLICATION at YEAR OLE ACTION FULL... but nothing else has been run on the system.  After a long wait, he is finally allowed.  This also happens when I try to save a file downloaded in AOL. I am running Windows XP with Service Pack 3 and have all the latest updates applied (automatic update).

• Access 2007 - OLE object failed

  When I try to add a picture to a table field in Access via an OLE object I get the error message "the operation on the OLE object failed. The OLE server may not be registered.  To register the OLE server, reinstall it.

  The research on the internet it seems that Access 2007 is not compatible OLE more and now needs something called ACE.

  Does anyone know how to get this working?

• While trying to install NET tools 5.0 in Vista, get the error "unable to save ole stdole2.tlb.

  It's trying to install NET tools 5.0. After a google search, this error occurs with a lot of different programs believe me it's a vista problem. Moreover, mine is vista 64 bit.

• New Alienware 13 R2 OLED at best buy

  I bought and returned the new 13 R2 OLED Best Buy Alienware laptop. I bought it with anticipation to a fast SSD drive, because it comes with a slow 500 GB hard drive on a regular basis. I took apart and Alienware does not all ports for one SSD. It makes no sense, I wanted to put a SSD 950 PRO NVMe 512 GB SSD Samsung in the laptop. Save time and not buy one, I ended up ordering just the high-end off Alienware's website.

  It looks like from the manual that if you get the version with a HARD drive, you get the HARD drive and the caddy that comes with it, however, if you get the SSD version, they have a daughter and caddy card that replaces the HARD drive in the same dwelling.  You could have called Dell and purchased the caddy SSD maybe.  The device is so small that they cannot be able to have both installed.

  You can download Visual FoxPro OLE DB provider from the link you mentioned in your post. The page cannot be updated and this is the reason why you can't find the information on supported operating systems.

  The information contained in the compatibility of the said above Center says Visual FoxPro version 9 is compatible, it should work without problems.

  Initially, the server running SQL Servre 2000 and Oracle8i and the linked server works well...

  What is the version of the database used for related serere? Is Oracle 8i? Please confirm.

  If the database is 8i and customer Oracle 11 GR 2, these versions are not compatible.

  After you install Client Oracle 11 g, you saved the OLEDB driver.

  Restart the SQL Server, after installing the Oracle Client and then create the server bound.

  Hi all

  I have downloaded ODAC112040Xcopy_64bit.zip of RTO and run the install.bat file to install Oracle supplied OLE DB as below. Then created a file udl on desktop and double clicking on udl file in the provider list, I am not able to see OOracle OLE DB provider. I checked that there are files OLEDB*.dll under c:\oracle\bin. and I can see entries in the registry entry.

  install.bat c:\oracle oadc

  Machine: Windows 7 (64-bit)

  You will need to run as administrator command prompt. I missed that. After opening :) as administrator command, then run install.bat it worked fine.
