  I don't really see your layer panel, but your image, looks like you are trying to mix a layer against the background transparent. You need two layers of mixture. It does not work against a transparent BG.

  I had this same problem and fixed it by adding the package icedtea6-plugin on Ubuntu. IcedTea6-plugin is a plugin for web browser to run Java applets.

  I recently updated my OS to Yosemite on a new Macbook Air and immediately noticed that the spellcheck doesn't work in Illustrator CS4. When I type 'I command', the dialog box opens very well. It doesn't matter if a text box is selected or it searches the entire document. It is not a question of words set to ignore in my personal dictionary.

  Private browsing enabled or "never remember history" being selected would cause that in Firefox 50.0, but the 50.0.1 update was a fix for this problem.

  I suggest you to follow these steps and check if that helps:

  After the V43.0.0.5820, Firefox works but is invisible on the screen. I do not remember what version I have updated since then, but this is done normally under actual multiple monitors as with all other software installed.

  Currently it is forcing me to use Internet Explorer, which works flawlessly.

  If I stop actual multiple monitors, Firefox won't stay visible well that listed in Windows Task Manager.

  When I'm out of multiple monitors, Firefox works normally.

  I uninstalled V43 and re-installed V42. This seems to have solved the problem. I didn't answer on the forum of the AMM yet but it's still the early days. I'll post a response that I get to help a resolution.

  OK, I thought about it. As I was going through the configuration editor, I saw the outgoing server settings. It made me wonder if something had changed. I went to my provider and reinforced through their list and found where mine differ. If the update for thunderbird changed something or verizon changed something.
