OLIVIER 11.1.1.7.1 - load Plan "From field only and charge (SDE and SIL)" fails at the first stage

Hello

I'm BIAPPS 11.1.1.7.1 configuration and her charge leading "extract domain only and charge (SDE and SIL)" (started in Confugration Manager) fails with the following error.

ODI-1519: series step 'Load start Plan (InternalID:683500)' failed because step 'Refresh Global Variable (InternalID:684500)' child is in error. ODI-1529: updating of the variable 'BIAPPS.13P_CALENDAR_ID' failed: to select WHEN "Refresh of the Global Variable" in (select distinct group_code from C_PARAMETER_VALUE_FORMATTER_V where PARAM_CODE = '13P_CALENDAR_ID') THEN (select param_value in the C_PARAMETER_VALUE_FORMATTER_V where PARAM_CODE = '13P_CALENDAR_ID' and group_code = 'Global Variable Refresh' and datasource_num_id = ' #BIAPPS.) WH_DATASOURCE_NUM_ID') ELSE (select param_value in the C_GL_PARAM_VALUE_FORMATTER_V where PARAM_CODE = '13P_CALENDAR_ID' and datasource_num_id = ' #BIAPPS.) WH_DATASOURCE_NUM_ID') END of the double ODI-1533: Error refreshing variable 'BIAPPS.13P_CALENDAR_ID': could not get a link to the logical schema "CM_BIAPPS11G" using the OVERALL context.

Investigation when I looked for info of logical connection diagram CM_BIAPPS11G (Physical schema BIAPPS_BIACOMP) in the topology Manager, JDBC connection string is empty and name of user and password is set up. My questions are so

(1) is this a normal behavior that CM_BIAPPS11G receive the JDBC connection string & name of user and password of dynamically at run time?

(2) If yes then how this string is passed and where it get stored?

(3) I'm tempted to the name of user and password string / JDBC hardcode in the ODI topology manager and kickoff of work load here. Do you see any risk in doing this?

Any pointer/suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Thanks and greetings

JDBC and name of username/password used to store in rather logical physical then diagram... its ok to hardcode those details under physical schema...

Just logic diagram retrieve this information at the time of execution to load data in temporary tables...

Please let me know if I'm wrong...

See you soon!

    I'm not understanding where his picking the path (shown in red). Can someone help me with this matter?

    Let me know if you need more information.

    Thank you

    Is choosing the path of a physical schema mapped to the logical schema DW_BIAPPS11G_LOG_FILES.

    Physical schema is likely to have the value as follows - C:\\oracle\\Middleware\\instances\\instance1\biapps/log

    Change this path journal of topology ODI use a bar oblique /biapps instead of backslash \biapps. Issue seems to be because \b is a special character and applies only to the windows platform.

    This should solve the problem: C:\\oracle\\Middleware\\instances\\instance1/biapps/log

  • When you browse most sites: current tab crashes or load slowly. A second empty tab, by clicking on it, opening the first load completely, almost instantly!

    It's Firefox 29.0.1: when you look at most of the sites, the current or the first tab or charges very slowly (small wheel), or crashes. By opening a second empty tab and clicking on it, the first tab then proceeds to load completely almost instantly! This is a common problem, and if so, is there a cure?

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

    Start the computer in safe mode Windows with network support (on the startup screen, press F8) as a test to see if that helps.

  • Pagination fail on the first load

    Hello
    I didn't know how this search if there is no post on this subject, I would be happy to check out them.

    On the first page load, the report seems in good condition with the news, but when I go to the next page, it is said that has not been found no results. If I come back and submit the page, then go to the next paging in the report he found the data. Even if I send the page before moving on to the second paging.

    At a meeting, I noticed that the elements have a value until the first submit, but the report of NVL and should not be a problem, test of this is that the first page in the report shows the content correctly.

    Any ideas on why I send the page before the report pagination works? If so, how can I do so that it sends the page to the first charge?

    Thanks in advance,
    Marc

    Hi Marc

    Assuming that you have filters on your page, including selection lists, this is pretty typical. Is what I tend to make lists of selection used as filters to define the default values for nulls (-1 for numerical values) and ZZZZ for strings AND these values are defined using calculations of page (depends on the item is null and set to run before header). In this way, the elements have values already for them in the session before the report is even loaded.

  • Load data from an intermediate table into a real table by using the value of the indicator

    I need a code quick and dirty pl/sql to read the intermediate table ' STG_TABLE, line by line and load data into a PROD_TABLE.» The load should fail altogether, is a restoration should occur when he there an error occurs during registration to insert into a table of production using a flag value of Y as outcome and N as a failure.
    Any suggestions?

    Hello

    It seems that if you want something like:

    BEGIN
        :ok_flag := 'N';
        INSERT INTO  prod_table (col1, col2, ...)
         SELECT               col1, col2, ...
         FROM     stg_table;
        :ok_flag := 'Y';
    END;

    RESTORATION is done automatically in case of error.

    Instead of a link to ok_flag variable, you can use another type of variable that is defined outside the scope of this PL/SQL code.

  • BrowserField loads pages initially, but does not work after the first load

    My app displays pages within a BrowserField. The app is basically a wrapper for a Web site, so a lot of navigation should take place within the browser. When the page first loads, it loads the site very well, but if you click on one of the links, it never loads the page.

    Unknown, the entire application works fine in the Simulator, the first page and all other pages load fine. You can click on any link, and it will.

    I have a BrowserFieldListener and a BrowserFieldController to detect when a page is loaded (at the end of the animation to load and display the browser) and when the user clicks on a link (to start the loading animation and hide the browser). Breakpoints in both of these functions (handleNavigationRequest and documentLoaded) show that the first time, the two are achieved, but when the user clicks on a link, handleNavigationRequest is in the race, but never documentLoaded.

    Does anyone have any idea on this? She was driving me crazy. I don't understand why it works in the Simulator, but not a real device.

    -Thank you

    Solved my problem. A BrowserField won't do anything if it's not attatched to a Manager. Why it loads the original page without being a manager is a mystery, but keep it on the page can load very well.

    Who knows.

  • getBytesLoaded() and getBytesTotal() return anything when you load content from another domain

    I created a movie that load various media using loadMovie(), then in many cases performs actions on the newly loaded MCs once loading is completed. I rely on getBytesLoaded and getBytesTotal to know when to perform these actions.

    This works very well when the content is on the same server as the film, but I also need to load content from another domain and this is where it falls apart. The media actually does very well in the target MCs, but never make the functions that need to be running when the loading is complete. The problem is that getBytesLoaded() and getBytesTotal() both return nothing when the content is loaded from another domain.

    I'm stuck with loadMovie and getBytesLoaded/getBytesTotal as this film must be published for Flash Player 6, but I actually tried to use loadClip() and onLoadInit() and I get the same problem - onLoadInit() never works.

    Another weird thing is that test by displaying a flash preview is not displayed this problem - the content of fines and getBytesLoaded and getBytesTotal loads two values to return as expected. It's only when I publish the film and display in a browser I have this problem.

    Where I'm going wrong?

    Thank you!

  • SQL Loader, CLOB, delimited fields

    Hello.

    I have to load using SQL Loader of csv file data into a table, a field is of type CLOB.

    Here's how ctl file looked like at the beginning:

    UNRECOVERABLE
    DOWNLOAD THE DATA
    INFILE «.\csv_files\TSH_DGRA.csv '.
    BADFILE «.\bad_files\TSH_DGRA.bad '.
    DISCARDFILE «.\dsc_files\TSH_DGRA.dsc '.
    ADD
    IN THE TSH_DGRA TABLE
    FIELDS ENDED BY ',' POSSIBLY FRAMED BY "" "
    TRAILING NULLCOLS
    (
    ID_OBJ_TSHD,
    PR_ZOOM_TSHD,
    PR_GRID_TSHD,
    PR_ELMGR_TSHD TANK (4000) OPTIONALLY ENCLOSED BY '< clob >' AND ' < / clob > ',
    PR_ALRMGR_TSHD TANK (4000) OPTIONALLY ENCLOSED BY '< clob >' AND ' < / clob > '
    )

    The problems are the fields PR_ELMGR_TSHD and PR_ALRMGR_TSHD (CLOB in the table TSH_DGRA). Until which data should be loaded into CLOB fields are at least 4000 characters, it works very well, but what do I do if I want to load data that is older of 4000 characters?

    If found on the link: [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B14117_01/server.101/b10825/ldr_loading.htm#i1006803] which a sentence says:

    "SQL * Loader by default 255 bytes when moving CLOB data, but you can specify a value of up to 2 gigabytes." For a field bounded, if a length is specified, this length is used as a maximum. If no maximum is specified, it uses default 255 bytes. For a CHAR field that is bounded and is also greater than 255 bytes, you must specify a maximum length. (See TANK for more information on the CHAR data type".

    So, my question is, how specify "up to 2 GB" so that text says? I can't use the CHAR data type because it is limited to 4,000 characters. And I have to load about 60000 characters. I also can't use technique where all each CLOB field data in separate files.

    Simply specify the expected maximum size:

    ....
    PR_ELMGR_TSHD TANK (100000), POSSIBLY ENCLOSED BY ""AND"."
    PR_ALRMGR_TSHD TANK (1000000), OPTIONALLY ENCLOSED BY '... « ET ». »
    )

    The CHARIOT (1000000) will allow SQLLDR to manage up to 1000000 bytes of input text.

    Here's our scenario

    (1) we have a several load plans that move on different schedules. These changes of schedules each month. For example, we have a defined business window (usually end of month process) which changes from month to month. This business window set is stored in a custom table.

    (2) in this window, we run load is considering either once a day or every hour or just only once in this window, etc.

    I looked in the Plan charge hourly, but that wasn't our goal because of the complexity in date, time, and frequency. Also, we do not have any third party planner. I think to launch Plans to load a command line (. / startloadplan.sh) using a programming language (PL/SQL or Unix script)

    However, I am struggling to find how can I reach annex to a charge by command line plan? for example if I want to execute the plan to charge for the next 3 days every hour, how can say I do it through command line?

    Any suggestions would be very helpful.

    You can simply create a schedule like that unfortunately. The schedule should be attached to the repository, then the agent must be updated.

    What you could do, is add a script using the SDK of ODI. Chantal Mangano wrote a great blog about this (ODI11g): http://dwteam.in/scheduling-in-odi-using-sdk/

  • 11.1.2.3 - data loading planning?

    Hello

    Another question from newbie - beginner to 11.1.2.3 for which generous points are once more available; I checked the manuals for 11.1.2.3. but do not believe they have removed this feature available in earlier versions of the planning, can someone confirm please?

    In the previous version of the planning (10.x) he used to be a GUI tool based which facilitated the data and mapping the data transformations for easy loading of data in Hyperion Planning without using a tool such as the ODI via flat files or table of database (no disorders, built around Hyperion 'API') from other sources.

    Is it equivalent to 11.1.2.3. and if so someone can tell me the navigation path please?

    As said I have reviewed manuals and as said I don't think I'm following = > load utility contour, FDM Data Integrator adapter, architect of Management Performance.

    But it may be "planning hierarchical Load", can anyone confirm if this is the case (the manual is sketchy to say the least) and if so provide path navigation or even better, a link to a simple example...

    n. b. I keep loads of metadata (members, properties members, parent / child et al) and balance data (balances in cubes loading).

    If it isn't available in Hyperion Planning the form I describe there is no reason NOT to apply the rules of loading EAS to manage data and load balances?

    Thank you very much

    Robert.

    You could try to launch the Foundation > configure the web server option in the Configurator of the EMP.

    See you soon
