• Omni 10 problems: no icon detected / battery battery with red top.

  Hello

  Since a few days my battery shows a red cross on it and gives the error no battery detected. now, all of a sudden the icon disappeared and there is no way of knowing whether or not the battery is charging. the start icon displays still no battery detected but the Tablet works for now but do not know for how long.

  Well finally got my charger and replaced. works fine now. no real solution why this happened. hope that the new battery and charger stick out on this great device.

  It is normal that the light flashes briefly during closing; If it stays on, some software prevents your tablet of turning-off completely. The option of "10 seconds" you describe forces all active processes to quit then turns your tablet.

  You have not indicated how long you had your Omni & if you have installed all apps transferred from another computer... If you have not yet spent a lot of time to install additional software, one of the "Recovery" options will likely restore normal operation quickly (start with "Refresh"). If you first want to try additional troubleshooting, it will be useful to know if this problem still occurs when you try a menu stop immediately after your Tablet road and logon. If you are familiar with the Task Manager, you may identify 'suspects' in the list of applications that are active only - before turning your Omni-off and use the Task Manager to end one-at-a-time to find the one that interferes with the normal shutdown. If you identify software that you installed as a guilty, then you will need to uninstall it and find a newer version or another application to accomplish the same task. If troubleshooting doesn't quickly lead to identify what is causing the problem, then you can always use one of recovery options. There are several updates for system software and applications that came pre-installed on your Omni; After that your Tablet does not function normally, don't forget to re - apply all eligible updates from Microsoft and HP, to get the best performance from your Omni. • HP Omni 120-1024 all-in-one - I think I'll have hard disk problems, I can replace "on my own"?

  BTW, this computer is only 1 year and 4 months. Looks really 'young' to a hard drive failure, I had computers in the past which lasted for years and years.

• Audio Omni 10 HDMI problem

  My Omni 10 HDMI was working fine until I sent to HP to have the touch screen repaired.  They re-installed or updated all the operating system and drivers, so I have all the latest software.  Audio HDMI fake now after a few minutes (streaming of Netflix or NBA games).  I can unplug the HDMI cable or restart streaming, it would work for a few minutes and then again distort.  Same configuration used to work before.

  When I got the Tablet back, audio was weak.  I brought to the MS store, they may be installed DD Realtek Audio Manager, not sure, but they set up something and the sound was OK.  Unfortunately I checked the audio headphones so only, did not HDMI so far.

  Appreciate any help I can get.

  Try a clean reinstall and delete the program folder before Firefox to (re) install a new copy of the current version of Firefox.

• HP Omni 100z no wireless adapter

  I was using my HP Omni 100z. While internet browsing via internet explorer, the computer froze and screen went black. I had to do a force off and on it, but after the windows boot screen, it became black again and would not work. I did the start reapair and took some time, but ultimately it worked. Except the wireless internet. The wireless network adapter has completely disappeared from the Device Manager. The only thing that appears is the ethernet controller, but not the wireless. I even did a shoot of network problems and no luck. I tried to manually install the driver using the HP Recovery Manager, it says it installed, but after the reboot, it is not yet here. Any suggestions on what could the problem be?
