On a windows 2003 R2 SP2, gives error 1053 SNMP service startup

On a windows 2003 R2 SP2, start the service SNMP gives error 1053 (below)

In the event log are event ID: 7000 & 7009 back (below)

Already tried: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/886695 (check the "allow service to interact with desktop").

I have also run the Windows updates for all high priority updates, replaced the files %windir%\system32\snmp*.* with those of another R2 SP2 server that is not the problem (after rename the original to the *.old files & copy the same files in the folder DLLcache so SFC would stop interfering ;)) and checked for other errors that may show a reason for this - the only thing that I can connect to it) , it is that services IISAdmin & GoogleUpdate (gupdate & gupdatem) having the same problem, but unrelated to seams...

TNX in advance for any response.

    Hello

    1. have you downloaded the stand-alone package for the service Pack 2 or are you using Windows update?
    2. you also try to install Windows 7?

    Method 1.
Run Disk Cleanup and disable the security software and then try to install the same and check.

  • Wireless not working and from "diagnostic policy service" gives error 1053

    Hello

I have a problem with the connection to wireless internet. The router is working because I can get online to other computer and iphone. The question seems to be from my laptop.

    Laptop: Sony Vaio VPCEA
    Windows 7 Home Premium

I was able to connect to the wireless using this laptop last night, but today in some sort it has stopped working. When I try to connect it says "restricted access". I have tried rebooting, removing the memory and of course Google wireless network, but nothing seems to work.

When I tried to solve the problem, it says "diagnostic policy service does not work. So I went into Services and tried to turn it on (START) "Political diagnosis Service" but it gives me "error 1053: the service has failed to demand launch or control in a timely. I read online to install .net Framework 1.1 service Pack1 to get rid of this problem. But which is not supported by Windows 7, the more I installed 4.0 Framework, which should have taken care of this problem.

Another suggestion is to disable the firewall and I noticed that my firewall is already turned off and I can't turn it on. I had the external anti-virus software, which I removed for this problem, but nothing works! When I tried to turn on the Firewall Services' Windows I get an error 1068: the dependency service or group could start. Dependence are: Base filtering engine and Windows Firewall authorization driver. Who do not start.

I tried fixing the registry using the Wise Registry Cleaner. Clean something, she has not fixed any problems yet.

    Help, please. I'M FRUSTRATED!

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi bberringer,

The original message has been able to resolve error 1053 by reinstalling Windows. If you have not reinstalled Windows, I would say the following steps before you spend money on the circuit board. If you already try reinstall Windows and always have failed, I suggest the internet search (or the site of the manufacturer if your computer is a Dell, Acer, HP, etc.) for the same or a Platinum compatible as prices can vary according to your computer brand and model.

    Hello

I m wondering that you want to install Windows server on a laptop...

In any case, it is a known problem and also happens on XP and Vista. To fix this you need to use the laptop SATA driver or you change the SATA mode in the BIOS by AHCI compatible, then you don't need a driver.

Here are some instructions that might be useful for you:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD9401AN0000R01.htm

I do not know if you will get a driver for Server 2003 but you can try the XP driver and in the worst cases, it must use compatible mode m.

Let me give you a little advice: If you have other questions, use the forum search. You can find hundreds of discussions about this.

  • Windows 2003 R2 SP2 Enterprise 64-bit NETWORK load balancing

    Hi guys,.

I try to get two virtual machines on the same host to the NETWORK load balancing. Each of them has 2 vNIC. I create the NLB cluster on the first node, but for the life of me when I try to add the second host in the cluster, the private network card which is supposed to be the NLB nic is not listed, but the public's. It's my setup.

    Cluster configuration:

    Cluster name: ews.contoso.local

    The cluster IP address: 192.168.0.56/24

    Host name: EX2K7 - 01.contoso.local

Name of the NETWORK card: private

    IP address: 192.168.0.57/24

    Front door: no

Name of the NETWORK card: Public

    IP address: 192.168.0.58/24

    Gateway: 192.168.0.1

    Host name: EX2K7 - 02.contoso.local

Name of the NETWORK card: private

    IP address: 192.168.0.59/24

    Front door: no

Name of the NETWORK card: Public

    IP address: 192.168.0.60/24

    Gateway: 192.168.0.1

I am trying to create a test environment for Exchange 2007, as described here (http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/high-availability-recovery/load-balancing-exchange-2007-client-access-servers-windows-network-technology-part2.html). For now, I'm going to rebuild my servers instead of using the deployment of the model in the VC and NewSID. Any help is very appreciated. Hope this fixes it but just in case, any input is more than welcome. Thank you.

Just as an info... it's what I've done up to now (http://forums.msexchange.org/m_1800499325/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#1800499367). Thank you.

I managed to build configs W2K3 NLB before leaving a model using a customization specification (i.e. sysprep) before. We have different bits sysprep on our VC server and have a specification of personalization set for a W2K3 64-bit server. So my sequence was

    1. Deploy the new virtual machine for the model, using specifications of customization for W2K3 64 bit

    2. Let VM boot and full customization technical room (i.e. the sysprep let run)

    3. Power off the virtual machine, add 2nd NIC (our default model has only 1 NETWORK card; do not try to add another card NETWORK during the deployment step because it has a bug which prevents work properly)

    4. Power on VM, join to the domain

    5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 for 2nd VM

    6. Install and configure NLB in multicast mode

  • Error 1053: the service did not demand launch or control in a timely

I tried 2 my hp printer Configuration 2 my laptop.i windows 7 again had 2 download the drivers from the hp site in the sequence 4, it work 2 with windows 7, but now im getting an error message on my followed spooler.i on-screen instructions he gave me 2 test and start the service, but this isn't work.is it something else I can do 2 make it work?

If your driver might be allowed, check again from the Device Manager . In Device Manager , locate the printer driver and right click. Click Update driver software and let Windows search for an update.

Step 1: The problem could have caused by the corruption of windows by virus or any other malicious program file. Check that when the message is indicated which services are active in the Task Manager. To do this, first restart your computer. Open the Task Manager, and then take a note on running services. Start the printer and wait for the error message. When the error message appears check the Task Manager even once, you will see the process number and identify what new service appeared increased. Take note of this and ensure that this is not a system file. End of the service, and then see whether or not the message disappears. If the message disappears after that particular service, then it will be clear that this particular .exe file is either corrupt or cause this behavior. If he sends the name of file for further investigation here.

Step 2: Press Windows key + R to get the run command box. Type services.msc and press enter . In the list of services to locate the print spooler and check if it is enabled or disabled or stopped. If disabled then enable it and see the result.

Step 3: Monitor if any startup program creates the problem. Open run and type "msconfig.exe" and press enter . Click the Strartup tab, and check if a suspicious program is present which could be associated with the problem and try to disable it and see the result.

Hope this will help. If this is not the case, make sure that your computer is not affected by a virus. If possible, contact the manufacture of the printer for assistance. If possible, try to connect and install another printer to test and determine if the problem occurs on all printers that connect to your PC or not, also, try if possible under Windows XP. Thank you.

  • Change the maximum size of the JVM heap to 1024 gives error

Change the maximum size of the JVM heap to 1024 gives an error.

    Environment:

    CF9
    Windows 2003 R2 Sp2 operating systems
    XEON PROCESSOR
    RAM 2 GB

After the installation of ColdFusion, one of the parameters that gets changed is:
Server settings > Java and JVM > (MB) 1024 maximum JVM heap size
ColdFusion Application service does not start with this setting. A file of errors is created in \ColdFusion9\runtime\bin\hs_err_pid1234.log (where 1234 number changes). The details of the log file are long so soon stick a sample.

Arguments for the JAVA virtual machine are:
    Java.args =-Server-Xmx1024m - Dsun.io.useCanonCaches = false - XX: MaxPermSize = 192 m - XX: + UseParallelGC-Dcoldfusion.rootDir={application.home}/... /-Dcoldfusion.libPath={application.home}/... / lib - Dcoldfusion.classPath={application.home}//lib/updates, {application. Home} /... / lib {cation.home} / app... /Gateway/lib /, {application. Home} /... / wwwroot/Web-INF/Flex/Jars, {application. home} /... / wwwroot/Web-INF/cfform/Jars

The JVM max 1024 m is one of the commonly recommended changes. Why change the maximum FMV of 512 m prevents ColdFusion from running?

It is indeed a strange problem. Something does not seem right/normal.

I did some digging and found a blog entry potentially useful:

    http://iamgoat.com/post/804922016/ColdFusion-application-server-wont-start-after-Windows

It looks just like your problem, but it is true, it offers a quite specific problem/solution, that may not apply.

Here's another question: are you looking in the \runtime\logs directory? The log files it may show more information on the problem, maybe before or after the time that develop these logs of PID? They may be secondary to another primary problem. Search specifically for the OutOfMemory string in the log files.

If that can't find anything, I would suggest another thought: consider changing the JAVA virtual machine. I see you are using 1.6_0_14. There are several points between it and the last _21 you can try.

Finally, a thought more to consider: since this is the Hotspot compiler which reports the error (SH in hs_err_pidnnnn.log), it is possible that the addition of a switch to turn off Hotspot, just to go beyond that, could give a different error message with perhaps more information. In the following (or the CF admin, if we in Standard mode or server), try to add - Xint.

Let us know if any help.
