on my ap cpu used

Hi all

I have a question about the rate of cpu used, my ap has high computer function, as jpeg encode and decode seconds, and when he's throwing for awhile time, the CPU rate used for my ap is superior and superior and then she reach up to 100% result in the user interface is more slower. Is there a solution that could solve this problem? or no matter what concept, I know.

The issue you describe is not really possible on a BlackBerry.  As a multitasking operating system, it will run quite happily CPU intensive workloads in the background while maintaining good performance of the user interface for the user.

If your treatment is an impact on the user, it is certainly because you run the processing on the thread of events, you should avoid.

I think that this article will be useful:

  • "Task manager" and Norton AV cpu use 100% constantly, always etc.

    I'm looking at my roommate pc and same problem. under Win XP, SP3.  To run any program takes about 5 full minutes.  CPU use 100% in Norton Anti Virus (NAV) or the Task Manager.  For now I'm just using taskmanger to see the %.  The only way to get to 0-2% is to restart in safe mode.  Go to start/run and msconfig, checked the only button "Load System Services", is went to 'Services' tab, hid Microsoft services and disabled all services, and then restart.  The 100% cpu is always attached to 100%, but the pc certainly significantly faster programs. (almost normal)  Does anyone know how to fix this?  I ran a full NAV of the system scan and a spybot search and destroy scan which finds that some cookies.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Dear Palcouk, I found the problem.

    For someone who has either taskmanager/Norton AV and it shows cpu 100% stable, but when your pc is restarted in safe mode (press F8 repeatedly after reboot), it seems to fall to 0-2%.  Download and run Process Explorer. Once executed with your cpu showing 100%, look under the CPU column.  Regardless of the program see you running the stronger use of the processor is the problem.  You can check this out, as I did by right clicking and "kill process".  Then check your CPU usage again.  Must be 0-2%, which is normal if you are running many programs.  In my case of roommate when I flew over the mouse program svhost using a 99% cpu, it has demonstrated a program that comes from a HP servoce.  It turns out that she has recently reinstalled the drivers of hp printer and somehow it corrupted his PC.  The fix was to reinstall the HP software on write corruption because we were able to uninstall all HP software.  She told me that she was trying to 'fix' the software earlier, but it's probably where corruption has come.  Problem solved.

    Help the creation of a test of the abveo metric ESX alarm

    Hi - I ended up having to do such things in the past as well. I just built a virtual machine added lots of processors and memory, then for the CPU, I used the script CPUBusy.vbs from VMware (Google search which) and down it load times so that he began to max real physical processors... For memory, I just opened a massive text file in Wordpad and scroll up and down it. This gave me the circumstances to test the alarms, just don't do as a busy time or use some dev ESX servers... • Generate reports for ESX, VM, RAM, and CPU use list

    How will generate you a report for the list of ESX, VM, RAM and CPU used in your VSphere environment?

    Hello

    You can either use vCenter performance dashboards, select the chart options and chose the resource & corresponding metrics or select the host of the vSphere client, and then click file > report > summary of the host or Performance.

    Does that help?

    If you have licenses for diagnosis package and the performance pack, you can look at the history of the current session for this type of information. You can query the DBA_HIST_ACTIVE_SESS_HISTORY view, or run the ashrpt.sql script in $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin or use OEM to get a graphical representation of the workload over time.

  • The CPU used by the resource manager.

    Hello
    in 10g R2, I created a Plan for DBMS resources manager:
    EXEC DBMS_RESOURCE_MANAGER.CREATE_PENDING_AREA();

    EXEC DBMS_RESOURCE_MANAGER.CREATE_SIMPLE_PLAN(SIMPLE_PLAN => 'simple_plan1',CONSUMER_GROUP1 => 'mygroup1', GROUP1_CPU => 80,CONSUMER_GROUP2 => 'mygroup2', GROUP2_CPU => 20);

    ALTER SYSTEM SET RESOURCE_MANAGER_PLAN ='simple_plan1';

    EXEC DBMS_RESOURCE_MANAGER.SWITCH_CONSUMER_GROUP_FOR_USER ('SCOTT', 'MYGROUP2');
    EXEC DBMS_RESOURCE_MANAGER_PRIVS.GRANT_SWITCH_CONSUMER_GROUP ('SCOTT', 'MYGROUP2', TRUE);

    EXEC DBMS_RESOURCE_MANAGER.SUBMIT_PENDING_AREA;

    EXEC DBMS_RESOURCE_MANAGER.CLEAR_PENDING_AREA;
    Now, SCOTT runs the following (example from 24 through the database manager):
    DECLARE
    m NUMBER;
    BEGIN
    FOR i IN 1..100000 LOOP
    FOR j IN 1..100000 LOOP
    /*

    select count(*) into m from v$sysstat, v$system_event;
    END LOOP;
    END LOOP;
    END;
    END;

    And CPU use goes to 100%. Why? According to its consumer group should not only have 20% of CPU?

    No explanation?
    Thank you.

    Hello

    user522961 wrote:
    And CPU use goes to 100%. Why? According to its consumer group should not only have 20% of CPU?

    A quote from docs explained:

    The currently active resource plan does not have the limits of the allowance until the CPU usage is 100%. If the CPU usage is less than 100%, the database is not related to the CPU and there is therefore no need to enforce limits to ensure that all the sessions to get their allocation of designated resources.
    In addition, when the limits are applied, allowance unused by consumer groups can be used by other groups of consumers. In the previous example, if the SALES group does not use all of his allowance, the Resource Manager allows the group to MARKET or DEVELOP it group to use the unused allocation.

  • calculate the CPU used for awhile...

    Hi all

    Statpack/AWR report for like 6 hours. How can indicate the % of CPU used for this moment? As we do some planing ability and we need to know how much CPU our instance serve? Thus, when we give the final number of management... .to tell them if 4 CPUS or 8 processors etc etc are good or not... Thank you

    Don't you see a 'CPU time' in the 'Top 5 Timed events' in the AWR report? If this isn't in the Top 5, you would always see in "statistical model time."

    In addition, statistical CPU OS are in 'the operating system statistics '.

  • Mozzilla not respounding high cpu use plugin - container.exe computer is totally locked

    I start up firefox, and go new. Sometimes it allows me to watch for a while. without warning mozilla not respounding computer is completely locked. I try to stop the program (mozilla) sometimes it allows me, and other times it takes several tries to stop. Mozilla said plugin - container.exe CPU high usage. Happened several times in recent weeks. I updated several times without success.

    Like most of the commonly used web plugin, Flash is the most likely the cause. I don't know why the problems increased with Flash with the combination of Firefox 41 and 19 Flash. I think that people who work.

    For now, I suggest the following to minimize potential problems with Flash in your troubleshooting:

    (1) to avoid unnecessary pain on the sites where the Flash is not really essential, try to set the Flash on Click-to-Play (Ask 'activation'). This will delay the Flash start on a page, until you approve.

    To set 'Ask to activate', open the page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

    In the left column, click on Plugins. Search 'Shockwave Flash' and always change 'enable' to 'ask to activate '.

    With this setting, when you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification icon in the address bar and usually (but not always) one of the following values: a link in a gray rectangle dark in the page or an information bar sliding between the toolbar and in the page area.

    The plugin notification in the address bar icon usually resembles a little Lego block, dark gray. (If it is red, Flash must update.)

    The delay in the activation of Flash can help distinguish between the problems caused on the initial page load, put in folds and script activation vs Flash/loading bar.

    If you see a good reason to use Flash, and the site looks trustworthy, you can go ahead and click on the notification icon in the address bar to allow Flash. You can trust the site for the time being or permanently.

    But some pages use Flash only for tracking or play ads, so if you do not see an immediate need for Flash, feel free to ignore the notification! He will just stand here in case you want to use it later.

    (2) consider rolling back at the end of the extended support of Flash 18. We make the security updates, which you can find if you scroll down half way down this page: https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html - it's for plugin-based browsers, MSI or EXE format should work.

    Most likely, you need to remove Flash 19 before this installer works. This article has a link to the uninstaller program: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/.../uninstall-flash-player-windows.html.

  • Satellite Pro T130 - 14L: 100% CPU use of acpi.sys after changing the HDD to SSD

    Hello

    because I changed my for one SSD HARD drive and reinstalled Windows 7 with 64 bit on this subject, my system works frequently in 100% CPU utilization caused by kernel module acpi.sys, I discovered with process Explorer and confirmed by recording an ETL file.

    This problem occurs once an hour on average, sometimes after 10 minutes of functioning of the system and sometimes after two hours, no matter which programs are running and whether or not I is actively using the computer. When I noticed a hanging and see this 100% cpu core in the process Explorer window are currently in use, I always need to save my work (which may take a few minutes) and restart the computer.

    I could live with that, but it's pretty nasty. My bios is up to date (version 2.70), as well as my other drivers (no error and no virus found). In other forums I've read, these problems could be avoided by changing the energy registers something Windows settings as never go to sleep of the SSD, but it works in my case as I disabled all energy saving options in Windows and I still have this problem.

    Is there maybe an update of the unofficial bios that could solve this problem?
    I read in another forum, that an unofficial bios update Dell fixed a similar problem on a Dell computer.

    Can someone help me solve this problem please?

    Details of process Explorer:
    The wire with TID 160 and the start address:

    ACPI. SYS + 0X1AF7C

    suddenly starts using 100% CPU and does not stop until you restart.
    Similar problem as in this forum for a Dell PC:
    https://social.technet.Microsoft.com...UM=w7itproperf

    Unlike the Dell problem, there is no appropriate-updated bios for me, could you help me if you could tell me how to stop the kernel module (if it starts hanging or even before). Then I could at least avoid frequent restarts.
