  The problem is with the keyboard language setting. You may have selected English (International) while setting up your laptop / desktop at the beginning.

  Go to control panel of-> all items from Panel of control-> region and language-> Formats.

  Change Format English (United States). It should solve your problem.

  I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come):

  (1) registry HRT

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

• Qosmio G10-133: black bar in the middle of the screen

  I had a display of my G10 problem before, last year the malfunction just screen to a point where it would remain empty and I have to constantly push the display button to make it work. Needless to say that I sent and Toshiba has replaced the graphics card.

  But now I have another problem of display. An hour ago, I was using my laptop and all of a sudden a massive black bar, would say about 7 to 8 cm wide appeared in the middle of my screen. I tried a fresh install of the operating system, update of the graphics drivers, but its still there. If I turn on my laptop to the phases of the white bar to really show the full screen again in a black bar.

  Someone has an idea? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I have a .wmv file.  According to the properties it is 720 x 480.  The video is rectangular, not square...  So I guess it's technically widescreen.  I brought premiere cs4 auto color.  I am exporting with media encode and this video has black bars.  Is there a way to get rid of them?  It seems that when I play the file on my PC before doing anything in the first, they are upstairs and downstairs.  Right now I am exporting and in the preview area little they seem to be on the top, bottom and those slightly wider on both sides.  Not sure how those has put in the mixture.  Can I get rid of all the black bars?  I am guessing that the camcorder put them upstairs and downstairs, so how could I know what the height and width of the video would be without them anyway?  I'm confused...

  You should be able to resize the address bar, if the search bar is to the right by simply sliding the space between the address bar and the search bar.

The problem I have is, I want the secondary navigation menu to have a specific look, with "pages" of the menu running in the vertical menu format and subpages if poster in a schema extensible sub-navigation form (see image below), so that when I click on a homepage of the sub navig. menu, all the sub pages expand underwear, slightly indented (so that the hierarchy of the pages is obvious). Then, when I click on a different home page and its subpages below expand, I want the subpages of the homepage previously clicked on to disappear. I've seen websites set up in this way and I like the simplicity, the functionality and look of this type of secondary navigation, I don't know how to do. Does anyone know how this can be done? I am ready to go the "long way" If that's what it takes. Thank you.

  You can use the widget panel tabs to achieve this. (formatting to your look)

  Just add some text in each Panel and a link to the specific page.

  The only drawback is you wouldn't be able to link the main headings (Commercial... etc)
