On the Volume/Treble & Bass error display screen

Model: DV8t 1200

Product #: WF681AV

Window 7 64 bit

First of all, let me explain my problem. The volume of the screen and triple & low display is not showing / work. The volume real/treble & base material touch buttons functions correctly. To clarify what is the display, I found a picture online to make sure that we are on the same page.

(Ignore the Green volume bar. Apparently, the guy who posted this image was trying to get rid of it and thought that it was due to a keyboard software)

The block appears quite acute & low while poster all messed up. It would have blue and white lines where the blue solid is suppose to show.

Let me return path. This problem occurs after I install a new copy of Windows 7 Ultimate. After you have installed Windows 7 Ultimate, I'd install the latest drivers directly from HP using the link:

http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=4063&LC=en&cc=us&DLC=en&sw_lang=&product=4186...

When he was just a Home Premium to HP, it displays and works correctly.

So, like many others guess that there must be something wrong with the installation of drivers or operating system. I used two different copies of Windows 7 Ultimate, which would exclude more unlikely that it will be the fault of the OS. Using two different OS, I installed the drivers several times by ensuring that they were not corrupt. I reformatted the laptop several times (about 5 or 6) before sending it. All HP made was to reformat my laptop to the standard family Premium. After that I got my laptop back, the display of volume/treble & bass would work. After installing Window 7 Ultimate, it still would not work.

I'm at an impasse as to what I should do. I have some other ideas on how I can fix this.

This is to get your order volume and eject to work.

Download this file to the desktop, install and reboot. Who should get your eject to work, but no volume no OSD.

FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp46501-47000/sp46762.exe

Install this version on top of the one that you just installed. (Download this a second on the desktop as well)

FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp45001-45500/sp45140.exe

Now that you have in "Programs and features" uninstall and then reinstall 45140, the other still and will give you the volume OSD and your eject button.  Restart your machine.

Note: You must have at least one Media Smart program installed. I chose DVD Smart Media and Media Smart Web Cam.

Once I open and close my scroll is working again. Is it possible to keep on? Also, when I adjust the volume, no display on the middle of the screen there is more to show how high or low I'm adjusting! These things just stopped working it a month ago and I have no idea why!

  • Unable to backup because of the volume shadow copy error 0 x 80042302

    Hi all

I'm trying to backup to an external hard drive and I keep getting the error 0 x 80042302. It is said that "a volume shadow copy service has met an unexpected error.check the applications for more information event log"
I did what the other threads have said services and shall ensure that the shadow copy service and the service backup Windows are automatic and started but still nothing. I also ran a check with run with the/scannow command but nothing... I really need help everything would be appreciated.

    Hey kiran thanks a lot.

I talked to my uncle today who knows a little about the PC and he said that it maybe the tune up utilities that could be the problem. with some services that it turns off, it may have caused a problem. I uninstalled it but still nothing... so I watched your first suggestion that was the very audience who gave a more detailed error code. I then googled that error code that led me to believe that there is another service "Microsoft Software Shadow Copy provider (SWPRV)" which I had not enabled and once I did here! its market so now my message would simply be that you should be careful with programs that take control of the pc! Thank you very much!

STOP: 0x0000007e (0xc000001d, ox8537008 0xba4c3508 0xba4c3204) and the system would not come to the top.

Error blue screen STOP: 0x0000007e. I powercycled the sys, unable to choose for sure (keys do not work when you try to select a mode) sys is trying just to go back to the blue screen. Help, please

Symptoms: Booted computer, loaded the raid drivers and showed at the start screen XP for half a second then to BSOD with a Stop error Code 0x0000007E - see also a lot of users (0xC0000001D, 0 x-, etc.) as well.

    Solution:

1 boot from your Windows XP CD and start the recovery console. You may need to press F6 while RC loads in order to load the SATA drivers. you will have a prompt c:\WINDOWS to the console.

    2. type: CD $NtUninstallKB977165$ \spuninst (it's the update, I had to uninstall to get out of the boot loop, other updates can be uninstalled by changing the name of the directory to $NtUninstallKBCODE$, where KBCODE is the code KB)

    3. type: BATCH spuninst.txt

    4. type: exit

Don't forget to configure your system to boot from the HD before resuming. I hope this helps. Saved me a lot of hassle today.

Could you tell me what might happen. Thanks and forgive the inconvenience.

Hi all I have solved the problem, as I'd mentioned the error is when you install the drivers and the order in which they are installed.

First of all, install the file shortcut (8jvu20ww.exe)
Once installed, you will be prompted to restart the system. Do not.
    Then install (g1ku20ww.exe) power management.
Reinicir system and the problem is solved.

  • Cannot place the Volume icon in the taskbar

My desktop (Windows XP Home Edition, SP3) PC has problems with sound:

The "Sound and Audio Devices Properties" window has 2 options in the box "Device volume" (in the middle):

    (1) 'Mute'.

It works OK - I can check this option and sound is cut off, as required.

    (2) "volume icon to Place in the taskbar"

I can't check this option to access the 'Advanced Options' button (bottom-right) and set other options of volume for 2 rear speakers (only 2 front speakers are currently operating).

If I check this option, it fails with this MESSAGE of ERROR:

"Windows cannot display the control volume on the taskbar because the Volume control program has not been installed. To install it use Add/Remove programs in Control Panel. »

I have NOT removed / deleted / Uninstall audio files, programs, etc., so I don't know how sound problems have been affected on my PC.

Of course, I can't start the Volume control program, and I can't adjust any volume and sound on my PC settings. The volume icon is not displayed in the tray (taskbar, far right). Try to add the icon for the volume control for this notification area will fail with the above ERROR MESSAGE.

I do not have the installation diskettes, so it is possible to download all the relevant sound files / applications directly and solve this problem (missing volume control program)? All the problems of sound worked beautifully until this volume control program "disappeared."

Moreover, are these stored audio files as backups somewhere on my PC (for example some partition memory?), so I can put it directly in the Windows/Program files?

Troubleshooting guides suggest lack file the SNDVOL32. EXE, but c:\windows\system32\dllcache fact containing SNDVOL32. EXE - of course, this file is not missing, but may be damaged / corrupted, so unusable and inaccessible, as if not found (MESSAGE of ERROR above).

    Please notify. Thank you kindly.

The dllcache folder is where XP guard backup copies of important files and does not come into the game normally and XP will be running fine without this folder (but you don't want to delete it).

If one 3498 files that Windows file protection is missing, PAM retrieves the backup copy in the dllcache folder quickly and silently, replace the missing file.

When you use certain features sounds and Audio devices if you see a message like this:

Windows cannot display the control of volume on the taskbar because the Volume control program has not been installed. To install it use Add/Remove programs in Control Panel.

    Or this:

Windows cannot execute SndVol32.exe, use Add/Remove Programs Control Panel to install.

Looks like thesystem32\sndvol32.exe file c:\windows\ is missing.

As the sndvol32.exe is one of 3498 Windows File Protection files handles, should never be missing.  To be absent would require an extra effort.  If it happens never missing in the system32 folder, WFP will be want to quickly and quietly replace it if he can.

This may occur if your antivirus/antimalware application unspecified thinks the file is suspicious and quarantines (effectively delete) the file.  You can replace the missing file with a backup copy of the file that is in another folder on your system (if you can find one.)  Sometimes even the backup copy is quarantined (effectively removed)

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

Assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive...

We know that XP retains backups of critical system files in the following folder:

    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

Using the Explorer, search for or navigate to the following folder:

    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

Locate the sndvol32.exe file, right-click, choose copy or press Ctrl-C (it copies the file to the Windows Clipboard).

If your Solution Explorer settings are not set to display file extensions, you can only see a file named "sndvol32" which has an icon that looks like to the volume control slider (this is the file you need) or adjust the settings of the browser under Tools, Folder Options, view and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" you can see the file extensions.  You can check that box again when you are finished, if that is your desire.

If the file is missing in the dllcache folder, look for a copy of the file in this folder (you maybe not this file):

    c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386

After copying the file, navigate to the following folder:

    c:\Windows\System32

Right-click on an empty area in the c:\windows\system32 folder display window and select Paste (Ctrl + V) to paste into the missing file where it belongs.

Answered in the affirmative if invited to replace the existing file and then you should see a message that 1 file (s) has been copied.

Now try your features sounds and Audio devices.

If you can't find the file on your system, there is one on my SkyDrive and you can download it.

  • get rid of the volume display dv7 screen

Hi, I have a laptop dv7-4280us, and I would like to know if there is a way to remove the little notice that appears when you turn the volume upwards or downwards.

    (this thing: http://img853.imageshack.us/i/volume.png/)

Although it is useful, as I play a lot of games, most of which run in mode full screen. When you try to activate the volume upwards or downwards, he returns to the office and generally won't let you get into the game (depending on the game, but to do this, a good amount of my games). So I was wondering if there is anyway to get rid of it, because it is nice, I don't really need or want. I couldn't find any settings from anywhere to turn it off, if anyone can help?

    Hello

Windows Control Panel, open programs and features and uninstall HP MediaSmart Smart Menu.  Once done, restart the laptop.

As an alternative that won't not lock the primary display and return you to the desktop, try the application at the link below.

    Hello

When you move the volume wheel in the middle of the screen, you will see notification signal volume. It's a little graphic, and you can also hear the sound. If the signal is stronger, the signal will be stronger. Using the FN + ESC key combination you can switch to the mute box.
