Only 1 198 links on a page is displayed correctly. The rest of the text flow.

Looking at a page with 198 links seems to overflow an internal table of Firefox. 1 198 links on a page correctly, and these links work fine. All links starting with 199 and beyond onscreen as simple test, flow all together across the screen and are not active to click. I just upgraded to FF 3.6.24 t0 FF 8.0. It works very well for FF 3.6 & IE.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? It makes useless web pages. The URL is one of the internal web pages of our company which are not public, I created the page. He just a simple, but the long list of links for the user to click on. Each link displays a chart of the use of the data and we have more than 600 graphics on some of these pages that are each individually selectable.

I hope that the problem could be recreated by listing more than 200 links on a single page simply go with the latest version of FF. I just did a numbered list in the order of the elements. Everything after section 199 is broken.

Any suggestions are welcome.

I was already suspect something like that we saw this posted before.

The new HTML5 parser is not well in the face of such nesting of tags.

Add a closing < / police > would be the right thing to do.

  • Pages showing "in miniature" (only for Firefox only, remote files) Chrome and local files is displayed correctly.

Hello, all. I have a real headache, here. I hope someone can help.

When I use "Preview in browser" (set to FIrefox) all pages of the site appear at the size you want (1280w x different heights). (Firefox is, of course, display of local files). But when I visit your site on the web (remote server files display) the pages are all pretty small, about half the size, width, and height. It drives me crazy. I am quite sure, this is the same code page, and it is the same browser (Firefox), how this could happen? Chrome displays the site very well, if local or remote files are being viewed. The site is http://spareplanetdesign.com (design of clothes, NOT of Web design. Of course, I'm not qualified for web design, lol)

Many thanks if you can resolve this problem before my head explodes!

Thank you, Ben. That solved, more or less

What was going on, it was Firefox "remembers" the zoom last level used when displaying a particular url. I must have zoomed out at some point, while displaying the web url, so that FF will always display this url with zoom back. ' ' As 'Preview in browser' is a different url (a local file path), he was "known" and displays a (normal) different zoom level. "I'm a little embarrassed to do not understand that, as a first step, but I'll leave this thread cancelled, just in case anyone else has experienced this' problem '.

  • new pages; How to wrap the text

I am really new to Pages (5.6.2)

I have text. I have a few pictures. I am trying to wrap text around pictures...

I start with a document 'base, white '.

I type the text. I stick to a photo and text flows above and below the photo...

I guess I default settings, as I have not changed anything

I spent hours trying to figure this (help of Apple, Google, youtube,...) and I feel stupid posting something so simple here, but I give up!

Can someone give me instructions of kindergarten on how to do this most basic actions...

    beginning with "open pages"? ...

You started the right way, so I don't know it is not necessary to start with "Open the Pages."... »

Once you slipped in your photo, make sure that this option remains selected (that is, it has white dots on the edges and corners) and then open the organize the sidebar Format (right).

In my case, Object Placement showed Move with text and automatic dress watch.

I suggest the first thing that you are trying to change the text dressed for "round".

Now, try to drag your photo and see if the skin is the way that you expect.

Finally, you will need to decide if you want your picture to stay where he is on the page (Object Placement > stay on the Page). This means that if you add or change the text on the page, the picture never moves. (This is shown in the image above).

GOLD Object Placement moves with the text means that if you add more text above you picture as the picture moves to the bottom of the page, because it is "linked" in the next paragraph. (See the small blue vertical bar with a dot above it in the image below).

  • v.31: NoScript, initial home page are displayed correctly, but the tabs are not displayed correctly

I'm under FF with NoScript, never "do not forget history," "Tell sites I don't want to be followed," not selected "Remember passwords for sites" and no Flash. My search engine is Duckduckgo. I use FF for private surfing. If I want to watch the video, I use IE11.

V.30 with before, I could never see how to configure FF to view my homepage of duckduckgo.com , when I created a new tab. But this is only a minor annoyance because I just click on the Home button.

Now with v.31, when I create a new tab I see nine rectangles where my story would be represented, if I had not turned off. At the top is a search box with Duckduckgo. However, when I try to use the search box, I see a message 'this page requires JavaScript. Download no - JS here. »

What is the point of allowing my Duckduckgo home page to display properly when FF is displayed first, but the following tabs require is at the bottom right of the screen and select NoScript "temporarily allow all this page" or by clicking on the Home button? From my point of view, this is not an improvement, just something different to look at.

I put my home page at https://duckduckgo.com/html/, in other words, the version that FF suggested, but nothing has changed.

I don't need JavaScript enabled for the new integrated tab page, but it might be because I disabled the search suggestions.

Here's how to set your new tab to DuckDuckGo page:

    (0) as the first step, copy the full URL in the address bar of the search page. This will stick you to step 3.

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste newtab and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference browser.newtab.url and enter your favorite page:

    • (Default) page thumbnails = > subject: newtab
    • Blank tab = > subject: empty
    • Built-in Firefox homepage = > topic: welcome
    • Any other page = > full URL of the page - paste here

Press Ctrl + t to open a new tab and check that it worked. Success?

  • Is there a way to create a link in a document that will draw the text in the document and open it in a separate text in the document box?

I am trying the link between the sections of a form in a PDF file and instructions in the same PDF document.  I want, instead of having this jump back to page in the document so that it can pull up the text identified in a contextual text separately on the same page where the form lives.  Is this possible?

    Hi gwebster,.

Instead of linking to the instructions page, maybe you can use tooltips or comments so that the instructions are perceptible besides than the text.

  • Master page is displayed correctly on some but not all

I had to happen to a few docs lately. I create the doc... and I add an image to a master page. Then, I attribute the master page to some pages. On some, it is fine. But on one or two, the picture does not appear. It shows the right master page. I can entrust other masters, and they are displayed correctly.  This is something I do regularly, and it is a new issue for me. I can manually place the image on the page, but ask yourself why this is happening?

    Thank you.

OK, sorry, I see that b is the one that should have the background image. This could be a side effect of having a full-spread image (but that shouldn't be a problem in theory). It is often safer than things to stop at the spine. Céline this you in your master by selecting the image, copy, paste in place, and then crop the first folio so the left edge is exactly on the vertebral column and the bottom copy so the right edge is exactly on the spine (and make sure that you check the numbers rather than relying on the alignment). Make sure that you move or copy - just grip resizing and hover over the edge of the image or use the width field in the control panel with all appropriate reference points.

I just thought of it.  It does not work with character styles.  You must remove the character style, and then reformat the text so that styles for links to appear.  No work around for this?

Sorry for the subject line.  The site is not yet online.  However.  I just figured out the problem.  Somehow, I deleted a whole section of CSS code.  When I went through line by line I missed it because everything seemed in order.  I noticed because I actually saved the code in a Word doc so I could send it to myself last week.  I compared the current code and found the problem.  Learned a lesson, but almost gave myself a heart attack.

  • When I sroll down a page on a website, the text and its color fades until I reload the page; then it happens again immediately. No problem on Chrome.

The problem is not with the computer, I can scroll through any page of the Web site using Google Chrome without any blur. I downloaded the latest driver for my graphics card. In-depth diagnosis of Dell and Microsft testing programs no problem with the equipment, including the monitor, even after the stress tests on the computer system. No problem of blur occurs by using Chrome, the problem is definitely with Firefox.

Could you try disabling the use of Firefox graphics acceleration hardware? The developers were not able to ensure compatibility with all graphics cards and driver updates.

You need to restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > advanced

In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

If you restart Firefox, the problem is solved or all points to be improved?

  • When you go to a new page, this page is displayed in the left sidebar, no not as a new window.

From my home page, I try to go to one of the sites I have tabs on top. Instead of going to a new page, the target page opens in the left sidebar of my homepage. I can't make a whole page.

Hello, please right click on each bookmark, then select properties and make sure that load this bookmark in the sidebar is disabled...

  • Print a Web page is FF 4, the text is random characters/symbols

I've read answered several questions about it, and everyone suggests that it was a matter of beta and that it has been resolved in the release candidate version. My 4.0.1. made for a Web site, I need to print from at work every day. How can I fix?

Up to what a successful patch is created, tested and available in a version of Firefox, you will need to use another browser to print the pages that cause this problem with Firefox.

You could install IE Tab 2 and have this page always be printed and displayed in Firefox in a tab 'IE' from there.
