Only circles for the spot removal tool

Hey all!

I am running in what seems a simple question, but there is no information about it on the line, or at least not something that can help me.

When I choose the spot removal tool and click and drag to get a linear change (not a circle) instead of the desired effect, the circle expands. I can't be able to simply correct a non circular task.

I checked on the line, still a few tutorials, but everyone seems to just drag and drop and it works.

Any ideas?

Camera raw version you use.  Detachment was only of circles ("points") in CS6 and earlier versions.  CC adds an improved stain tool that works like photoshop's Healing Brush tool.

Changed the shortcut for this tool?

  • Shift-click with the spot removal tool does not remove the straight lines

Hello, I am after a tutorial on Lynda.com, which demonstrates the use of the spot removal tool to remove a task from a straight line.  Click on one of the ends of the line, hold the SHIFT key and click on the other end of the line.  Pouf!  Nothing happens.  The technique works very well for me in Photoshop.

I have a PC with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and Lightroom CC 2015.6.1, Camera Raw 9.6.

In fact he worked sporadically on the image of a practical, but hot in a reliable way and does not at all in all the other images that I try.    Advice will be greatly appreciated.

  • Problem with the Spot Removal Tool

The last several times I tried to use the removal tool the place, he did not "heal" the area that I asked for it to heal.  He heals an area adjacent to the area I want to heal.

Any thoughts on the opportunity, it's a LR bug or something is happening with my Macbook?  I would like to address...

Note that I ALSO encounter this problem with the adjustment Brush tool.

(I know I can do this sort of editing in PSCC but for simple stuff like this, I usually use LRCC)

    Thanks for your help! LJB.

Change the Clone in the Heal and vice versa does not move existing pine. You will have to redo the brush stroke after changing between Clone and Heal.

  • the spot removal tool does not work

    Hello

I am a new user of Lightroom 5 and everything goes smoothly apart from what happened this morning.

When you're under the Spot Removal Tool-, you have the Clone and heal options mode. They used to work perfectly until yesterday and today when I click on one of them that I go to the photo would report - to develop, he painted a white mark and when fined you it does nothing.

It allows to create a circle that you can move to select the texture and color that suits you. Now, this no longer appears. I must have pressed a button on the keyboard that caused this!

I tried to reset everything from this morning and nothing works... Please let me know how to solve this problem.

Much appreciated in advance... I will provide more details if necessary.

    Concerning

    Anthony

Looks like more of an issue.

To display the area of the source you want healing to come again, try pressing 'H', while the heal tool is selected.  You may need to press it several times.

If no healing does occur it sounds like you may have the opacity on the too, right tunred down.  Increase the opacity to 100 slider... or to whatever setting find you works.

  • Lightroom 5 Spot Removal Tool lag and is not usable (Temp workaround?)

Lightroom 5 Spot Removal Tool lag and is not usable.  The Spot removal tool is really quite critical to usability and workflow for Lightroom 5.  Check the other tools beside the Spot removal tool, it seems that the fix red eye tool is also affected.  It might have something to do with the Version of process?  I noticed when working with some old images (using the 2010 process Version) files, the Spot removal tool worked as previously experienced. Current images that have been "upgraded" in the new Version of process (2012) are now unable to use the place because of its response removal tool very laggy and sporadic.  I've never known a problem like this with Lightroom (LR since LR2 user).  Mac OSX 10.7.5, i7 to 3.4 GHz, 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

I also noticed this reprocessing that an image can return to the removal tool again 'useful' Spot (back from 2012 to 2010, then return in 2012).  Does not always work and isn't always 'stick', such as closing and reopenling LR reinitiates usually lag Spot Removal Tool.

I saw someone talking about the Version of process as a potential culprit, nor I have seen no reliable workaround solution.  An image (or a set of images) reprocessing at least works for me for a while, but it would be nice to not have continue reprocessing of images every time I open / use Lightroom 5.

LR5 is great and all I need for most of my images.  Unfortunately for me, however, this ease of use also requires features without hindrance of the Spot removal tool.

For some reason, it is clear that not everyone is experiencing such massive slow / bottleneck when it comes to the Spot removal tool.  If all users have experienced this problem at this level, they would have been calling for Adobe to address and remedy immediately.

Respectfully, Sean, make a suggestion like that proves that you do not know / have not experienced this problem / don't understand gravity on which this issue may affect workflows; simply "turn off lens correction and noise reduction" is certainly not a fix.  If the 16 GB of RAM does not resolve the problem, you really think simply turning off the noise reduction will be?  And as Bert Nase pointed out, to make that large volumes of images increases workflow in a program designed to streamline the workflow for large volumes of images.

1 - one solution is to change the version of process in your first picture (2003-2010), then copy - paste who develop the setting for the rest of your images.  This will get all your images at the point in your workflow where you can use the tool to delete Spot on each image.  After spotting, convert each image back to the current version of the process (2012) then re - perform tasks that conversion lost.

2 - The presets is a workaround of options, but you will need at least two of them adapted to your stream of work.

    3. change your import settings to an earlier Version of the process is an option, and then complete Spot Removal on each photo, then update the process Version on one and copy/paste for the rest, then re - perform for each picture lost during conversion tasks and continue your workflow from there.

Readers of this thread can use the link above, but it may present its own problems, too.  As mentioned, switching back-and-forth between Versions of process can remove some of your spots already corrected and you will need to re - correct.  Worse, a prompt window asking for the creation of a virtual copy or evidence will begin sometimes arise... closing the window, by clicking 'Cancel' or by choosing another option in the context menu didn't "remember" and the window opens upward with any other "click" on the image.  Lightroom should be stopped and the computer restarted before the question to reset.

Yes, it's very frustrating and time consuming to say the least.  So, unfortunately there no solution yet to workaround.  I hope that this issue will be addressed and corrected in the next release of 5.2 (doubtful) or the Cloud of Photoshop + Lightroom version.

  • Lightroom 6 Spot removal tool

When I use my tool of detachment, a white streak occurs, and then he chooses a random place to copy.  Any suggestions?

If I understand you correctly, it's the way I understand the spot removal tool works. The white box you see is happening on my calculation when I brush the area that has the stain. Usually, Lightroom chooses a good enough to copy the brushed area region. But sometimes, I find that he choose a rather random and inappropriate place. When this happens that I simply move the chosen place where I think it should be.  If you encounter something different from what I understand, please explain in more detail.

When I select a clone or heal area, using the spot removal tool something strange happens.

This is what is happening. I draw an area to heal, after this the white tent appears, but not around the area, I drew. The marquee is offset about 2 centimetres under the box that I drew. If the task is not covered, and noting happens. Am I doing something wrong here, can you please help me?

  • Lightroom 5 Spot Removal Tool does not.

    Hello

I use Lightroom 5.7.1 on a Dell Windows 7 PC. The spot removal tool does not display the sample area selected (as we see in each tutorial) when using the tool and so I can't control the area that I'm trying to fix. How can I solve this problem?

    Thank you!

Press the H key while using the tool.

  • Control Panel always displays a program that has been uninstalled by the Kaspersky removal tool.

I uninstalled Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 using Kaspersky removal tool. The tool ran and said that he had removed the program successfully, but when I opened my control panel, he was ALWAYS on the list. When I clicked on it to remove the program I sent me a message that says: this action is only valid for products that are installed.

Now I have Kaspersky Pure (garbage) 3.0 is installed on my machine that I hate and will remove so I can install the Webroot security program. However, once more Kaspersky told me to use the Kaspersky removal tool to uninstall Kaspersky Pure 3.0 (which I still think is a pure stupid idea) and I don't want to repeat the fiasco of the last.

HOW to completely remove Kaspersky registration in my control panel when the program has already been uninstalled?

    I use Windows 7 Ultimate

    I have a drive of 80 GB C with a

500 gig D disk - both are internal discs.

I also have a 2 TB external and one external drives attached via USB 4TB.

Is it possible to get lists of Kaspersky completely removed from my control panel?

I would try Revo Uninstaller.  There is probably a more direct way, but this is one of the simplest tools.  http://www.revouninstaller.com/

Spot remover tool will not remove all stains of dirt is possible this tool can be accidentally turned off?

It is not clear to me if you understand how this tool works. It does not automatically remove tasks, you must open the tool and click the points you want to delete. To Heal I usually put 100% opacity for Clone usually not more than 90%.
