Only one speaker working in Lifechat lx-3000 headset

Using the Lifechat lx-3000 headset Windows XP, sound only comes out of the right speaker. Microphone works very well. I checked the balance, changed the usb connectors, reloaded drivers and checked the other solutions of this forum answers to just about any other problem with this headset and nothing has helped.

Hello CShep,

Thank you for your message.  Have you checked your helmet on another device to make sure that one side of the headphones is not a blown speaker?  Please let us know so that we can better help you.

  • Only one speaker works on the bottom of the phone

All the documentation that comes with the Turbo 2 and online documentation I've seen before buying indicate that there are two audio ports on the bottom of the phone, one on each side of the Verizon logo. However, only the side right (while facing the phone) actually works. The left speaker does not work. Verizon, which did not, I called and they put someone in support of Motorola on the line. The motorcycle rep says absolutely the two speakers should work and my phone is defective. They suggested that I return it as a guarantee of Exchange. I'm happy to do, but before I did I stopped by a verizon store and checked four phones they had on display. All four phones had the same "defect". So is - can anyone clarify if both speakers work on any Turbo 2 phones?

I was also wondering with all these mixed news, but there's a tear down video on YouTube which shows clearly there is only one speaker. I hear only on the bottom right, that nothing about ports to the left on mine.

  • Inspiron n4010 only one speaker works

Recently, I noticed that only one of the speakers on my laptop makes sounds.  The headphone jack works fine, I can listen to anything from there, when I plug headphones or external speakers, but when I am just using the speakers work only the left one.  I tried to re install/update to update all the audio drivers and frankly all the drivers on the computer, but it has not made a difference.  Someone knows why this happens / if it can be fixed?  It is a 2.5 year old old computer, so I don't really have a lot of hope for... but any info at all would be appreciated!

    Hi Ab0793,

If the headphones and external speakers are working well, it seems a problem with the speakers. You can try to update the BIOS of the computer. Here is the link http://dell.to/ZP7wfQ

Note: Before updating BIOS please ensure that
    * Battery is 10% > or > 10% charged
    * Adapter must be connected
    * No external device must be connected.
    * All other programs should be closed and saved documents

If the steps above do not work, the speaker may need to be replaced. You can check the details of the security of your computer, you can click on the http://dell.to/QjjZDA link, type the serial number of your computer and click the warranty tab and let me know the status.

Answer please if you have any questions.

  • UZ2315H - only one speaker works (?)

    Hello

Just got my new monitor, UZ2315H.
I connected to my desktop via HDMI.
I also have it connected via USB in order to activate the speakers too.

The problem is that I hear the sound of a speaker only (lower left).
As the monitor has 2 speakers, I'm guessing that the other is bottom right. But I can't hear any sound from it. The sound only comes from lower left.

What can I do? Should I send the monitor like DOA? Or I missed something?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello again.

Just to update and 'close' this topic, I thought that perhaps the HDMI cable has done, so I tried to use another HDMI cable, but, once again, the same result. Then I tried with another. Once again the same thing.
Finally, I tried another Uncable (thank God I had a spare part) and then it worked. Now, I can hear two speakers.

PS: I used a HDMI cable with an angle, because the original "pushes" the cable a little outside because of a piece of thick there, well can't explain it, it looks something like this:

    Thanks for your help anyway.

  • Only one speaker works on the helmet

This isn't a problem with the headphones, I tried several pairs, each of them works fine on other devices.  Is not a problem with the left-right balance of the speakers I checked this setting.  Curiously, the built-in speakers work fine.

So good with these controls out of the way, I use a 2 week old Acer Aspire Timeline AS3810T running 64-bit edition Windows 7 Home premium.  A few days ago all of a sudden, I noticed that when you use a helmet only the left speaker gives sound.  It's as if there is no such thing as the right speaker.  I emailled Acer Tech support but they did not, and it's been 4 days.  The laptop has a HDMI output and a black audio jack with an icon of headphones and SPDIF letters.

I also tried to uninstall the audio thingys in the Device Manager and downloaded the latest drivers, all to nothing does not.

I just had a hunch that completely wipe the hard drive and reinstall windows would solve the problem, as it is difficult to imagine that the audio jack just died (jiggling around does not work).  So before I do and before I do a warranty request, I thought that someone would be able to show me how to check the relevant parameters, etc. without completely obliterate the current installation of windows.

    Hello

have a. you been able to use the headset without any problem before?
    b. any recent hardware/software changes made on your computer?

Try to activate microphone amp and check if the problem persists.

1 right click on the speaker icon on the taskbar (lower right corner of the screen).
    2. Select the recording devices.
    3. Select the headset and click the properties button.
    4. in the pop-up window, click the custom tab.
    5. place a checkmark for amp Microphone and click on the OK button.

If you are still having the same problem then, it must be a problem with taking that your headset is connected. So check with the manufacturer for him.

Let us know if it works.

  • Only one speaker (for both) to work (after checking the FAQ)

    Hello

I have an inspiron N5110 R15 3 years now, a few days ago one of the speakers stopped working. When I do a test of stereo sound, the left speaker (the one that always works) its left AND RIGHT sample tones. so I figure this is on some kind of maybe Mono?

-When I plug the headphones I have the sound on both sides.

    So far, I have tried

    1 reset

2 tried update driver if the Device Manager

    3. turn on device

4A ran the audio problems (win 7, 64 bits)

    5. looked around the frequently asked questions here

    * I do not uninstall the driver and downloaded a new because it seems strange to be the issue, after working for 3 years and all of a sudden it stops. you are the experts, so I'll gladly do if you say.

current driver is manufactor (IDT high definition...)

    Thank you in advance.

Another test, that you can run is ePSA Audio Quick Check. Note that not all ePSA and ePSA models do not all control by Audio fast. If you do not then just fail the color bar test as described in the FAQ. If you hear tones in the two speakers at the trials then the speaker itself is good and another part is the cause of the problem, probably the socket for headphones, since you know the audio working properly up to this day.

If you hear only tones in one speaker and the other speaker is confirmed then failing or has a bad connection.

The final test you can do is to perform a System Recovery. If it's a software problem then recovery will fix the problem and if it is material, then it will be no and hardware will be confirmed as the source of the problem. But no point in doing so, if only one speaker is heard in the previous test...

I do not uninstall the driver and downloaded a new because it seems strange to be the issue, after working for 3 years and all of a sudden it stops.

You need not to do because you tried the native driver which served the same purpose. A simple re-installation of the audio driver (no download) is that your settings will be lost - in other words, the default configuration is restored thus exclude a problem of configuration, such as defined as mono in the sound properties.

If you want to check this, open the playback of the sound properties, right click on the speaker/headphones, select Properties, click the levels tab, click the Balance button. It does not matter how cursors are defined so that they are both the same level of the dB.

Download a new copy of the pilot aims to eliminate corruption from the existing driver. Sometimes, they stop everything works correctly.

  • LifeChat LX-3000 headset does not work with Windows 7 RC1

Previously, I used my LifeChat LX-3000 headset with my machine Windows 7 Beta and it worked fine.  I've recently updated to Windows 7 RC1 and now I can't not all sounds through them either.  The laptop speakers work very well and when I press the button "mute", the led turns on, but when I look at the volume of the headphone mixer is not present among the devices that I can change.  Anyone else running into this issue?  All the solutions you can think?

Looks like I found the answer in one click right on the speaker in the sys tray icon and selected "reading devices".  From there, I saw «Headphone Earphone» option  I clicked on it and then on the "Set default" button.  Now, it seems that it works very well.  It's just different how manipulated beta Headset USB.

    Hi Rixander,

    1. don't you make changes on the computer before this problem?

2 have you checked the work of the headset correctly when it is connected to a different USB port and in another computer?

Try these methods and see if it helps.

    Method 1

Run the hardware and devices troubleshooter.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

    Method 2

This occurs when you have the speakers are set by default. We need to ensure that the default module.

Exercise the functions mentioned below to set the speakers as default:

    (a) go to Start and click on Panel.

    (b) click Sound, and then a new window will open.

    (c) in the new window click on the "Playback" tab and right-click in the window and click on Show disabled devices.

    (d) now check if the headset is listed there and right-click on it and choose activate.

    (e) highlight this helmet and click on "as default'.»»

    Method 2

Check with the volume settings and if it helps:

    (a) right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar, then select volume control options.

    (b) check on 'all devices evolving sound.

    (c) make sure that you have "disabled the default communication device".

    (d) place a mark on both speakers and headphones.

  • Several areas of reversal on a slide, only one works

    Hi all

Player, is the first time for a long time. I have looked through all the forums and cannot find a solution for this problem.

I have a slide with six legends of overview, arranged in two rows of three. Under each bearing legend is a regular legend that contains a statement; the Viewer is for the mouse on the statement and the hood will pop up a legend saying that the statement is true or false. After ten seconds, a button appears and pauses for the slide, and the viewer can click on the button to go to the next slide.

When I saw the project, only the upper left corner of the box works now as expected. Then after ten seconds, the button appears, and five others begin to work very well. One weird thing is that during this first ten seconds, the cursor of the mouse always changes to an icon of the hand on all the bearings, so she recognizes that they are there, but nothing appears.

The question seems to have to do with the key, but I tried to adjust his timing, his order into piles of layer, I tried to remove the button, I tried to copy all elements except the button to a new slide and I still get the same problem, and buttons start working properly at the ten second mark regardless of where the button is. All rollover captions and rollover areas have identical properties that I can tell. Overview areas are at the top of the layer stack and are not overlap. Top left (on the scene) is still the only one that works correctly, regardless of how I place in the layer stack.

I tried everything I can think of. Now I humbly turn to you. Photo of my calendar below. Thanks in advance!

Ok.  I solved the problem by replacing just all legend of flipping objects.  Something about their needs has been corrupted.

  • Microsoft LifeChat LX 3000 stops the sound from the speakers when connected

    Hello

I bought a USB Microsoft LifeChat LX 3000 headset, and when it is plugged into my USB port, no sound is heard from the speakers.

When I disconect the speakers rund LX 3000 perfectly.

Someone knows how to fix this problem, please

I wanted to check if Microsoft LifeChat LX 3000 has all the entries in this section and if it has settings to enable or disable speakers when it is installed.  It is obviously the installer to work this way by default--I know not how to change the value by default if there is no entry in the audio section.

Try to download updated drivers for your sound card - she is in the speakers and contolling the LifeChat for an upgrade can provide options that are not currently available and you should be able to control if both can work at the same time.  While you're there, download and reinstall the updated drivers LifeChat as well.

Here is a link to the Microsoft Support - I don't know if it will be free or not (I can't go past the area enter the product id field). https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?gprid=12368&st=1&wfxredirect=1.  If free (I'm not sure I want to pay for support) and then explain the problem and they may be able to tell an easy solution that we have lost.

Here is a link to the product documentation that can explain what is happening and why.  Maybe it's just the way they are designed to work. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/documentation/default.aspx?type=LifeChat&sku=JUG-00001.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!
