Ontology protégé on Oracle NoSQL

Hello

I created an ontology on 4.3 protected it seems good. I added the plugin NoSQL protégé and I saved the model and inference in the database. Everything worked smooth far and the database is not complain with the ontology. Now, I use joseki endpoint to query the database. Joseki runs on Tomcat 7.0.X and the application seems correct.

If I run the query below on protected against my ontology, it works. But when I return to the Joseki, this does not

PREFIX rdf: http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns# >

SELECT * WHERE {? x? y? z}

LIMIT OF 100

The Joseki, I have updated the file joseki - config.ttl with the configuration of my store, I restarted the tomcat, but nothing happens. The same query, does not seem to work but nothing complains against her.

< #oracle > RDF: type oracle - nosql:Dataset;

];

##oracle - nosql:allGraphs [];         # Descriptions chart

[Oracle - nosql:defaultGraph];

##oracle - nosql:namedGraph [oracle - nosql:graphName <http://g1>];

.

I'm not entirely sure where the problem is, the database is running, even if I think the question is whether the request is well formatted and the configuration is correct. Can anyone around help me find out where is the problem?

Thank you and I would appreciate any idea

Hi Joguerra,

You can read the ontology saved in protégé of NoSQL DB?

    Hi Joguerra,

Currently, the semantic graph RDF for Oracle NoSQL Database can't vocabulary GeoSPARQL. You can, however, use semantic graph RDF for Oracle Database (12 c) and it comes with a GeoSPARQL support.

There is a strong requirement to have some features Geo space with RDF for Oracle NoSQL Database, please file a feature request.

Uh, using PLSQL to manipulate NoSQL is hard to do. Currently, how you handle Oracle NoSQL data using the API of the Java Oracle NoSQL.

    Hello

If the files on disc with voting rights are in a disk group, know that groups of disks with files Oracle Clusterware (OCR and voting disk files) have a more minimal number of failure than other groups of disks.
If you create a group of records as part of the installation in order to install the OCR and files on the drive to vote, then the installation program requires that you create these files on a disk group with at least 2 GB of free space.

A lack of quorum group is a special type of the failure group and these groups of failed disks contain no user data. A group of lack of quorum is not considered when determining the requirements of the redundancy for storage of user data. However, a lack of quorum group account when mounting a disk group.

For the Oracle Clusterware installation, you must also add the additional disk space for Oracle ASM metadata. You can use the following formula to calculate the disk space required (in MB) for the OCR and voting disk files and metadata from Oracle ASM:

    total = [2 * ausize * discs] + [redundancy * (ausize * (nodes * (+ 1) + 30 clients) + (64 * nodes) + 533)]

    Where:

    redundancy = number of mirrors: external = 1, normal = 2, high = 3.

ausize = size in megabytes metadata.

nodes = number of cluster nodes.

clients - the number of instances of database for each node.

drives - number of disks in the disk group.

See the link below for more details...

OK, I was able to solve my problem by uninstalling yum cmake and manually build the latest version of CMake - Cross platform make. (to date, the current stable version is 2.8.12.2).

    Very simple installation

    wget http://www.cmake.org/files/v2.8/cmake-2.8.12.2.tar.gz

    tar - xvvf cmake - 2.8.12.2.tar.gz

    CD cmake - 2.8.12.2

    . / bootstrap

    do

    make install

    update your PATH

After that, I was able to run cmake again for c - kv - 2.1.57 successfully.

But then I met another problem over do it with the following error message:

LD WARNING not found libmawt.so (not exact error, do not remember)

/usr/lib/JVM/JRE/lib/AMD64/libjawt.so: refers to 'awt_FreeDrawingSurface@SUNWprivate_1.1' the undefined

    ...

To resolve this problem, I ran:

    Locate libmawt.so

Choose the one with jre/lib/amd64/xawt and set that RPATH path in my environment.

    Export RPATH = / your/path/may/change/jre/lib/amd64/xawt

Then ran once again. Then make install. Success!

    Hope this helps someone else.

  • Oracle NoSQL YCSB - continuous increase in execution time

    Greetings,

I'm testing with YCSB nosql databases. I'm new to this type of databases, but I already tried few of them. I use the VM with 2 GB of RAM and hosted on Win 7. Although it is not recommended, because I work in the environment of capacity now, I use KVlite. But my problem is confusing and I can not find the reason. So, I have successfully loaded data and tested NoSQL Oracle using different workloads. However, each time, I get the higher execution time. For example, if 1 performance I get 20 seconds, if I stopped database and next day run even workload once again, I get 35 second run time and so on.

Do you have an idea of what may be the cause of that? As I said, I did research on some nosql databases, but I've never had that strange results.

    Kind regards.

I can't say with certainty why you see the results you have described, probably is just that with every race on the same data store, more data is getting integrated into the KVlite.

It is not a good idea to use KVlite for a test YCSB.

KVlite links to your application instance and does not provide the kind of partitioning of a key space that is normally essential to YCSB workload.

The idea of YCSB is to provide a random workload on a large number of keys and then to make things as expand data store while the operations are happening and see the impact.

These kinds of operations on random data access workloads cannot be expected to scale on a single data store instance that distributes keys.

I suggest that you use an appropriate version of kvstore to run these tests.

    Hope this helps,

    -Robert

  • The problem of the distribution of the data in the cluster of NoSQL Oracle databases

    Hello

I write (about 10 G) data in an Oracle Databae NoSQL cluster (which consists of three nodes: ud1, Node2, node3). It has only one table in the DB and I create an index on a field.

The amount of data in each node is about 16G.

Then I write the same data (about 10G) in an Oracle NoSQL Database (Only one node) and I create an index on the same lot.

But the amount of data is about 46G.

So I assumed that each node holds no data complete. Then if the failure of a node, the cluster can still work but some data cannot be queried. Am I wrong?

There is an intersection in the form of database on each node?

You should take a look at the documentation. For example:

  • NoSQL Oracle under Windows.

    Hi all

I am new to Oracle NoSQL, and I'm trying to develop the same application. so I do it on windows 7 OS. But cannot run kvclient on windows.

    So, how can I do?

    Please suggest me.

    Thanks in advance!

Just to let you know, Windows is not an officially support platform for Oracle NoSQL Database.  You can use kvlite to get an idea of the NoSQL APIs and to test a simulated application, but we don't certify Windows as a product platform.  Are you referring to the kvlient.jat file when you say that you are unable to run kvlient on Windows?

  • NoSQL Oracle database charger with EE last does not work

I am unable to run the NoSQL Oracle database loader to load data at: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/products/nosqldb/documentation/index.html which is included in the documentation with the latest download of Oracle NoSQL. I downloaded the EA on my Unix machine and have the JAVA version:

(I'm under KVlite. I was able to run the Hello Big World Data example).

This is step 6 in the Readme.txt file that I can't run.6. To load the contents of the tweeter to the Bank to run this command:
    $java - cp SAMPLE_HOME/OLH/ONLH/deploy/onlh.jar; SAMPLE_HOME/OLH/ONLH/lib/NoSQL/kvclient-1.2.123.jar oracle.kv.sample.Loader-i SAMPLE_HOME/OLH/ONLH/deploy/airline_tweets_search-03-01-2012-082206.xml m ' < username > US ' - n "username <>" - v "< user name > < userID >" d "|" xml t

I have the tweets.xml of the airline and the jar two files onlh.jar and kvclient - 1.2.123.jar in the deploy directory. When I unzip the package does NOT contain the HLO directory (as shown in above command) if it is a question with above. Also; use the JAVA throw errors in above.
    I ran the following:

    [deployment cloudera@localhost] $ java - cp onlh.jar - jar kvclient.jar oracle.kv.sample.Loader-i airline_tweets_search-03-01-2012 - 082206.xml - m ' < username > US ' - n "username <>" - v "< user name > < userID >" d "|" xml t

    My output:

    11gR2.2.0.39

(I don't get a validation error message invalid as described in examples of java files. I tried many variations that precedes. In addition, the sample in the README.txt step 6 also does not align with the documentation available in the java file < tagname1 > < tagname2 > use. I am able to run step 5 to see the use of arguments.

I'm out of options on how to solve this problem and would appreciate some advice asap for a demo that I build. I certainly need to have this job so I can load my own cvs (with a few tweaks to the arguments). I'm beginner JAVA Programmer so explanations with examples are greatly useful.
    Thank you

    [deployment cloudera@localhost] $ java - cp onlh.jar - jar kvclient.jar oracle.kv.sample.Loader-i airline_tweets_search-03-01-2012 - 082206.xml - m "US "-n ""-v " " d "|" xml t

The file README says to the kvclient and the onlh.jar - cp, not onlh.jar in cp and the kvclient as the - pot arg. If you move the kvclient.jar to the - CP

    only.jar:.../kvclient.jar - cp

    It will work.

No idea why? I tried the latest version of Oracle NoSQL and the oldest version that I could find, and both gave me the same problem...

I was able to reproduce this problem, and the issue is an incompatibility in the client introduced between versions 1 and 2.  The predefined Oracle NoSQL provided with YCSB 0.1.4 database driver is for the version 1.2.123, but the first version of Oracle database currently available NoSQL is 2.0.39 and server of this version is incompatible with the version 1.2.123 client used by the YCSB driver.

I was able to get things by updating them my YCSB 0.1.4 source to designate the 3.0.5 client referenced here:

NoSQL Oracle on Maven https://community.oracle.com/thread/3575499 >

I had to change the top-level pom to comment on a bunch of other modules (to avoid other problems) and activate the nosqldb one.

I changed the nosqldb/pom.xml to have:

    com Oracle.kV

    kvclient_3.0.5

    3.0.5

    And:

    Central

    http://repo1.Maven.org/Maven2

I did a 'mvn package ".  When I used this rebuilt version, the YCSB run succeeded.

Moreover, to make this point, should I configure 3 data centers with 1 storage node each, or 1 data center with 3 storage nodes (I have no need of a replication node - it's only for benchmarking).

Separate data centers using only affects the way that replication nodes are distributed to survive data center failures, which shouldn't matter to a performance index.  However, the replication factor - the number of nodes of replication by shine - will impact performance.  The master node handles all update requests, but replicas can handle queries from reading, which takes the load off of the master and should greatly increase performance.

  • External table Oracle via the Tables API

    Hello world

I did experiment with the Oracle NoSQL database recently and I became a bit stuck with the new API of Tables. I have so far successfully of the external tables on the data entered using storage techniques 'vanilla' KV and avro (using generic and specific links) scheme, but create API Tables seems to be another matter entirely.

My question arises in the trainer interface, which has a KeyValueVersion and a KVStore. I can't translate a KeyValueVersion created with the API of Tables in a primary key for recovery (since I don't know what the key generated by the API actually looks like to!) or map it on an avro scheme. The problem seems to be that the Tables API writes data in some format that can be easily translated into a string or an integer (releases from external table lines due to unknown characters if I am trying to retrieve all the values in the database to see what it looks like to), and try to map it to an AVRO map results in the error message 'the data are not as AVRO'.

    Scenario:

I created a very simple table in the administration tool KV, which consists of a column personId (integer) that is PK, firstName, lastName, emailAddr (all channels) and enter 5 rows with success. What I want to do is to create an external table called person that returns just those 5 values (and brand new I add to the table of course). This means that I have to first understand what the parentKey value must be defined in the .dat file and how to take this key and it becomes a primary key for the recovery of the line.

Faithful old Google could not find information on how to do this (he was only a thread similar to this with the answer "we'll add it soon"), so I hope that someone here managed to do!

    Thank you

    Richard

    Hi Richard

I understand the issue you are facing. In the current version (12.1.3.0.9) the external tables feature only works with records of K/V not with the Table model, however, in the next version (which us will very soon be GA) we will support integration of external tables with the data of Table model as well. Please make sure that you have signed up for the announcement of release so that we can inform you of the release. I apologize for the inconvenience, he did to you.

    Hi MEMU,.

I have it. And he has deployed in the built-in container. It works very well. Note that I did the following.

    (1) change the project properties,

In the libraries and Classpath, I need to add in Classpath entries associated Jena libraries, slf4j, sdordfnosqlclient.jar, kvclient.jar etc.

    (2) use the xercesImpl - 2.9.1.jar instead of xercesImpl - 2.10.0.  Jdev 12 c appears to use an older version of xerces as bundles of Jena.

Once done the configurations above, I can execute your project without changing Java code.

    Here is the result:

  • Hadoop / NoSql

    Hello
reading the documents on hadoop and NoSql, I don't understand when it's best to use one or the other and if both products can be used together.

    Thank you

    Hello

There is a lot we can say based on your question. First of all, my hypothesis is that when you say "NoSQL" you are implying the use of NoSQL of Oracle database... (Hadoop is NoSQL as well in the broadest sense of the term NoSQL).

With that, yes you can use Oracle NoSQL and Hadoop together. For example, you can store your user profile information in NoSQL DB, you can use a MapReduce input format to extract data from NoSQL DB, and then work on the data with MR.

In General (I am consciously ignoring HBase now), you would store stores large write-once read, pieces of data multiple times in Hadoop/HDFS. Classic examples are weblogs, streams of sensor data. These are written in big chuncks on HDFS (for example a weblog file is divided in blocks of 128 MB). Write you and read sequentially (where the requirement for general disc) but do not update anything - especially you do not update any "records" from the keys.

NoSQL DB gives you the key (primary)-based transactions. You have random i/o patterns, read records single (I'm simplifying a bit) and have the chance to update and delete these based on their key. It's really based on an index b-tree structure. The value (the index is the key) is a string of bytes that are not interpreted by the DB is simply passed to the Java program to playback.

Look at in general, the required access model. If it is random, only check-in feature use a NoSQL DB (or HBase), if there is access to lot for analysis using HDFS.

  • Replication nodes

    Hello

I am new to Oracle NoSQL.

I use 'Guide to NoSQL database administrator' and here are my plans and topology

but when I want to "Create and deploy replication nodes" this message

    What should I do?

    Please help me

    nosql.png

I wonder if you don't have any SNs in the basin called "BostonPool"?  The pools are supposed to have a way to logically specify a set of storage nodes. By default, a pool named 'AllStorageNodes' is done, but you can also specify a custom pool. You probably run this command:

create a pool - name BostonPool

but did you also put in, storage nodes with the join of pool, or is your empty "BostonPool" command? If this is the case, the topology create order think there are not enough resources to use to trace a cluster.

Join pool - name BostonPool - sn sn1

You can see what's in your pool with the command 'show pools '. For example, if I do this:

create a pool - name BostonPool

Join pool - name BostonPool - sn sn1

Join pool - name BostonPool - sn sn2

Join pool - name BostonPool - sn sn3

    then I see:

kV-> see the pool - name BostonPool

    BostonPool: sn1 zn: [id = zn1 name = MyDC], sn2 zn: [id = zn1 name = MyDC], sn3 zn: [id = zn1 name = MyDC]

In addition, do not use pools for all the topology of the create command. The pool by default, 'AllStorageNodes' will be used if you don't specify - pool to the topology of the create command.
