  You must go to the folder where your catalog and look for a file with .lock extension. This file must be deleted, and then you can again use your catalog. Sometimes, if Lightroom closes abnormally, the lock file is not removed. And that's what causes this error message.

  Using Windows Explorer, open the folder that contains your catalog. By default, it is Pictures\Lightroom, and unless you have moved your catalog intentionally, this is where it will be. There will be a file there with the .lrdata extension. This complete package should be removed. Then Lightroom should begin, and it will generate a new folder.

  Use the Aperture plugin library import in Lightroom. You can import your raw originals and create previews of size of the adjusted versions at the same time. There is no need to export the opening and import in Lightroom if you use the plugin.

  OK I tried. No configuration work at all. And it is a purchased the LR in a group, set current online copy! I am at a loss. While I love the edition is a computer after all and I think I'll have a bit of scrap Lr if I can't solve this problem.
