  Windows remembers the setting by application keyboard layout and you have probably changed the keyboard by accident via a keyboard shortcut.

  If you want to be in non-Nikon raws software processing, turn off the ADL and leave it off.   The same applies to other settings where the camera is something special for lighting or the brightness of the camera jpg.

  ADL will deliberately underexpose the image, then artificially pushed the dark areas while leaving only brighter area.  This more dynamic compress in the camera-jpg, but will make no-Nikon software see the true underexposed image.

  I use a particular mail plugin that has been very helpful so far upward. However this plugin has just been updated so that the Mail does not open and I get the error message refers to a problem with the HockeySDK I see that has just installed this plugin. I am waiting to hear the developer about it, but in the meantime I can't use the Mail on my Mac. Because I can not open the Mail I can't delete the whole plugin in the normal way.   Thank you for using communities of support from Apple!  I see you are having some problems with third party plug-ins that you use with your Mail from Mac app.  I know how it is important to be able to use your communication by e-mail, I'd be happy to help you to get this working again!

  Because I don't know anything about this point the plug-in you use, it is difficult for me to tell you how to uninstall.  I had an idea to get your e-mail application to open, however!  First of all, make sure that you have completely left the Mail (no point below on the platform) app.  Then, hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard and then as you are now, click on the Mail app icon to open it.  Now keep Shift during the charge of the Mail application.  The app needs to stay open for you, then you can remove your plug-in in the usual way you mentioned.

  I want to save my e-mail and archives. I intend to put them in my folder "Documents" for backup of 'Cloud' and also in an external hard drive that I have always used in the past and, as a child of 76 with a new computer, 8.1 instead of XP and TB instead of Outlook Express, that I feel more confident on my external hard drive! I have 31 TB and Windows 8.1. I put my computer to show the "hidden files and folders". In user/AppData/Local name there is a record of TB with 'Profiles' and there my XXXX.default folder - but it has only a limited number of files and folders (Cache/cache2...). In user/AppData/Roaming name, there is also a TB with 'Profiles' folder and there my XXXX.default folder- but it contains a completely different and much larger files and Folders collection (4 different folders and multiple files MAB and SQLITE and others). Why have I not two files with different content identical default? Do I have to register each one? Can someone please explain/help, preferably in words this 76 year-old could understand.

  Windows 8 user accounts can be local or remote. It assumes that everyone has a roaming profile. Thunderbird uses mobile records as you can see, but there is only the rump in local that I don't really understand the existence of.

  Thunderbird does not use it, I guess that windows creates.

  I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid 2010) to operation El Capitan 10.11.4 and many years of use Mail (currently 9.3).

  In the last two months, I noticed that mails disappeared completely from the Inbox. I could see the email on the right devices until I opened the Mail on MacBook Pro when some messages will disappear. They are no longer on the server (iCloud) and therefore cancels out on iOS devices. They are not in the trash, spam or any where else. A search for email is delivered empty. I know what to look for so that I can briefly see the message on the notifications on the iOS device.

  It's now at the point where I'm hesitant to open the mail for fear of losing mail items. If I leave Mail open, the incoming message appears briefly on the display of notification on the iOS device and when I try to read it, it will disappear, never to be seen.

  It is not affected by the sender WHO, and whether they are in my address book or not, they always disappear.

  I tried to rebuild the Inbox, but that the message is no longer on the server, it does not help.

  I'm open to suggestions. Thank you very much

  Not sure that Alfred's, but it's just an Applescript script and it would not cause Mail to be planted.

  However, when running through all the messages, it is possible Mail database has been corrupted and it crashes because of this.

  I'll probably get anything out of the accident report, but others might.

  My first instinct would be to rebuild the mailbox. Because you can't do that with him crashing, you can simply delete the databases and it will rebuild them.

  Navigate to this folder:

  FULL and incremental backup location: /staging_backup
  
  to reduce the amount of downtime, I have a plan to change the script like this:
  B1. before Saturday (let's say it's Friday-21:00), I'll take the full production DB Backup, copy backupsets and restore it on the 2nd site
  B2. and Saturday @2 pm, prod DB will be stopped and I'll take the backup archivelog backup and copy them into /staging_backup in 2nd site (I think it's much faster than the point A2)
  B3. OPEN READ ONLY in prod DB

  B5. Start the upgrade and redirect the apps to the new DB
  
  I see 3 problems here:

  2. the 2nd site structure is completely different, that I know I can use the NEWNAME VALUE to set the new location. But my data files are over 100 s.
