Open my laptop and had been disconnected. everything has changed/gone?

I very rarely turn off or restart my Inspiron 1545 computer laptop (Vista) or log out of my account. I don't know if it will automatically update itself ever, but I think it is, because two days ago, I opened my laptop and had to log on my account. When I did, everything changed, as if it were the new computer. The icons on my Start menu were all like new (for example, the Welcome Center...), my experience has been changed, the sidebar has been activated (which it wasn't) the wharf had icons I had deleted, and none of the files or icons that were on my desk were there! I searched all over for them and found some things, but not everything yet. The game of colors, everything is changed and I have no room to create a restore point and never have used before. Any help? Please help me! Thank you!

You do not today create restore Points to return to yesterday.

Either they have already made, or not.

Try this, just in case where you do not have a restore already Point made yesterday.

Try a system restore to a Date before the problem began:

Restore point:

Do the restore of the system in Safe Mode, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.

See you soon.
