  What I did to make it work is the following:

  • Highlight the text of the link, button, etc.
  • Make sure that there is a ' # ' in the field 'link' in the Properties window
  • Make sure that the "tag Inspector" is open on the right side of the work area.  window > Inspector tags or F9
  • Click on "behaviors" no attributes
  • Click on "open the new behavior of a browser window.
  • Follow the prompts to find the file to display and size, etc..
  • Make sure "on click" is on the left side of the behavior
  • should work!

  I use 9 Captivate and I wonder if it's possible for a PDF linked to open separating it into PDF format, rather than in a new browser window.

  For example, the PDF file has automatic update fields that are not updated when opened in the browser, but updates correctly when opened in Adobe Acrobat.

  To my knowledge, how any linked file opens or that is completely dependent on the end-user device and how it has been configured to process regardless of the file is.

  I would be surprised to discover that you can influence exactly what happens when the user clicks on the link.

  To download PDF files, you have nothing else except a web browser.
  However, to open the pdf file that is downloaded, you certainly need to download Acrobat Reader: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

  I am a link to two adobe files on my site, but they appear differently. How can I change the settings on an adobe PDF for when the file is opened?

It seems that there is a way to change the view/settings by default when a PDF document is open. I tried changing the settings in preferences, edition, Page view among a few other places, but can't seem to get anything to stick.

  I have a site that has a list of names of deceased persons. When a viewer clicks on a name I have a new open browser window which is a page of small specific Memorial for this person. This list is long enough so the viewer must scroll down a ways to get to the bottom. If the viewer clicks on a name down and then close this new browser window, they have to scroll all the way down and find where they left off. This assumes of course, they're going to view the pages of memory for each person. Is there a way to make the "original (with the list of names)" page refreshes to the top of the page? I use and you want to continue using the tables and no layers or styles.

  PROBLEM OPENING JPEG AND PDF ATTACHMENTS TO EMAILS: CANNOT RUN COMMAND.  GET HELP FROM COMMUNITIES.
