OpenAL32.dll error message shown on my laptop satellite

I get an error message on the so-called "OpenAL32.dll is missing."
I need help on how to get this fixed error message.
When I googled "OpenAL32.dll is missing" there are incalculable amounts of sites saying download their dose, or get a scan before you download their version a fix.

But I don't see a Microsoft or windows 7 Home premium fix.
I m confused and don't really understand much of it.

Hi frostytosh,

I've never heard on uniblue registry fix...

I recommend CCLeaner, also in the case where an error message is displayed. It can clean the registry and the Windows directory. In addition, you will have a better performance as before.

It s freeware tool and absolutely no spyware inside. ;)

    I'm running Windows 7 Pro on a Satellite M500

I have here a way to get a new copy of this dll?

    Hello

I searched a bit using Google and it seems that TosHdpAPI.dll belongs to Toshiba Bluetooth software stack but he s strange why it is important for your Quicken program

In your case I would try to reinstall the Bluetooth software which can be downloaded here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/

If it doesn t help you should contact the manufacture of the Quicken program. Usually, they should know how you can get rid of this error message. They probably have a patch (update) for this problem.

I went to the system registry to find the file it refers and is not a he.  I ran a norton registry cleanup and a virus scan.  I did find something online that made reference to this dll file.  The message appears at any time that I start a new program.  How to fix this, or find the virus that is the cause.

A Google search for "[insert the name of the file]" grown up nothing. When you get no hits for a filename on Google, chances are high that it is a malicious program file. You did not when you get the message. If it's only at startup, either you have uninstalled the malware program or your antivirus/antispyware program did. In all cases, a reference has been left in the boot file. You can remove the reference by managing your startup. If you get the message during regular time on the computer and not not only at startup, your computer is still infected.

Norton will do the job of cleaning and registry cleaners are garbage who at best will not do anything and the worst risk damage to your Windows installation.

First of all, make sure that the computer is really free of virus/malware through these systematically - General malware removal steps http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware . Then, if the computer is really clean and you still receive the message, manage your Startup to remove the reference to the malware:

Start > run > msconfig [Enter]

This will open the System Configuration utility. Look under the Startup tab and find the likely culprit. Uncheck the box next to its name, apply and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but next time you do, you will get a dialog box saying that you have used the utility. Just check the box that says in effect, "don't mind to this subject again".

    Yay!
    I fixed it!

    Here's how:
I looked at the advice of Robert (thanks Robert!) and thinking that it is must be a typo - 64-bit should be Wow, not sys32, just hypothetically.
So, I checked my Wow folder and found 0 bytes audioeng.dll there as well - I didn't replace yesterday with snached dll, I only replaced front sys32. The same dll is used twice by the system.
I decided to take the risk to replace with the same dll snached.

    Here are my steps:

    1. Tear off the healthy donor machine DLL
    2. Start the bulb--> cmd with admin permissions
    3. in the command prompt writing
    • takeown /f C:\Windows\SysWOW64\AudioEng.dll
    • ICACLS C:\Windows\SysWOW64\AudioEng.dll/grant administrators: F
    • copy YourFreshDllDirectory\AudioEng.dll C:\Windows\SysWOW64\AudioEng.dll
    • takeown /f C:\Windows\System32\AudioEng.dll
    • ICACLS C:\Windows\System32\AudioEng.dll/grant administrators: F
    • copy YourFreshDllDirectory\AudioEng.dll C:\Windows\System32\AudioEng.dl

Make sure you did it in both places.
    Enjoy!

Thanks a lot for all help.
    I really appreciate it.

According to this site, it's the update anti-virus designed to help keep AVG updated and current.

However, I wasn't able to find information about it on the site of AVG. Therefore, I don't know if it is officially included in the module use AVG or a third party. You can try to run without it for now and see if AVG updates or not. If Yes, then you are good to go. If this isn't the case, then I would say that it is an official part of AVG and that AVG may have to be uninstalled and reinstalled as a whole to resolve the error message.

It may be interesting to send a request by email to know if you need AVUS AVG.

It seems that some use AVUS universities to keep their anti-virus up-to-date based on this and it looks like they use with AVUS Sophos. If it's the same AVUS, then it more than likely is not part of AVG.

  • Impossible to get rid of Babylon related DLL error message

I bought a few windows 7 laptop of days back, I deleted a file by name "Babylon" as I don't know what it was for or who created it, I could not find in the list of programs installed as well.

But now, unfortunately, I get the error message 'there was a problem starting C:\progr~3\Babylo1~\Babylo~1.dll' and ' C:\progr~3\Babylo1~\Babylo~1.dll is not a valid win32 application. I couldn't find this program at startup
I did a scan with Malwarebytes in depth, it returns without errors or infections.
Also, I tried to do a default clean using CCCleaner but that has not solved the problem.
    could someone please help?

    Hello

Method 1 : perform the clean boot and check if the problem persits.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: follow step 7 to reset the computer to start as usual after the boot process.

Method 2 : If you suspect a virus activity I recommend you download the Microsoft Security Scanner and run it in safe mode.
