  Before Panel.Run - Time Pos.Get - returns a bunch of default stuff including watching the front panel is on.

  Before Position.Centered Panel.Run - Time - specifies where the VI will appear the next time it is run.

  I suggest you follow the step and check if it helps.

  If you select open in an existing Message, the first message that you double-click to open a new window always opens. If you leave this window open and you double-click a second message, it will open the new message in the existing message window.

  If you select open in a new window, all messages that double you click opens a new window. If you do not close the window after reading the messages you will be right where you are when you neglect to close the tab after reading the messages. You will have all messages that you have read open in a tab and the tab of the Inbox is pushed off the screen.

  After reading the message, close the tab or window.

  If you have lots of tabs open, you can right-click one of them and choose Close other tabs and then use the x on the last tab to close it.
  This will close the tab with the calendar of lightning inside you will need to reopen that.

  Have you tried to use the message pane to read messages and open them at all? F8 will toggle the message on and outside pane.

  Don't know much about your LVOOP, but I guess you know VI, FP. Run - Time.Minimized, to reduce to a minimum the dynamic VI of VI of the hand or the dynamics VI himself.

  Or you can use the Application method "Bring forward" after spawning dynamic VI. This will give the main VI keyboard back focus. I believe in KISSING.

• PS anchored to an additional monitor not opening not in the primary monitor

  I am running CS5 on a laptop with Win7 (my desktop system had a motherboard failure) that is connected to a 23 "monitor. For some reason, Illustrator and other parts of CS5 Design Standard seem if open fine on the 'main menu' designated, but Photoshop does not work. Maybe it's that I didn't actually * used * the other parts of CS5 on my laptop. PS would have some 'I'm doing this because I have always done this way' parameter it won't let go? I can just drag it to my main screen (I can, but that is uuuugly which defeats the purpose of the use of the giant screen).

  I try that, but given that this aspect of the work in PS is new to me, it's possible that I did it incorrectly. Had a similar "glitch" today when I decided to change my preferences to take my previous settings on the old system. I thought that my system has hung up when instead, it was just a matter of the dialog box Preferences hanging out on the laptop monitor. After realizing what was up, I changed the setting I wanted and closed the dialog box. The next time I open it, it opens on the main screen. Go figure.

  Well, an easy solution which is fine with me - I just put everything to work on the 23 "monitor only rather than both in use. I don't really need (that I know of) to be able to extend the monitors. I was trying to and thinking that it might be useful. Down the line, I may find it does, but now I'm going to stay with what works best for my way of neurotransmitter of work and limited. In addition, by limiting my work area for the monitors, my compressed area is used for the entire screen of the larger screen area. Much easier for to keep me track of cursor.

  I'm under El Capitan 10.11.5, 15F34 build on an iMac (retina, 5K, 27 inch, mid-2015). If I open the activity monitor, I get the CPU usage, but the main window will briefly appear and disappear.   A high school is a "hole" in your main panel.  You "insert" a separate VI in this 'hole' and then you see the Panel of VI inserted through the hole and mouse clicks through the hole of the Subvi below.

  You will need to run the Subvi separately, even if - by inserting just can't run.

  Aynchronous call will begin a Subvi running and then return to the calling thread with the Subvi running in parallel.

  You can then insert the Subvi in a secondary, or let it have its own window, as you choose.

  Run LabVIEW 2011 on Windows 7 x 64.  I am trying to get a Subvi front to open from my main PC with the touch of a button, then close with a button press in the Subvi.  Here's the piece of my main FP who calls the VI and opens the FP

  Locations is defined in another loop and all loops are in a flat order.  I made this way because I want to start with the first press and not stop my main loop to run.  So I don't know if I can run in the same line as the event or not, I've moved the element to the left loop around a lot.  Anyway the VI of openness seems to work very well.

  The problem arises when you try to close the Subvi for the SECOND time.  The code is here:

  

  As I said, the first time I open and close the VI everything works as it should, hopefully.  Then, I am able to reopen but now 'empty' button does not work and I can't close the window or even to open the block diagram to probe anything.  I tried to understand this point for a while, any insite would be greatly appreciated!

  Found my problem, I had the wrong boolean on one of my other events.  If this seems to be a good way to open/close a Subvi if anyone is interested!

  I meet a strange bug. In my code, I use a Subvi to control a piece of hardware. The Subvi has commands for all functions of my hardware.

  I changes the value of one of these controls in my main façade by running a reference to a button on my main façade in the Subvi, grabbing the value of the button with a property node, then update the value of the Subvi control using a node property signage.

  This works very well when my Subvi front is open, but does not work the Subvi front closing.

  Have you tried to use static references VI instead of using 'VI open' with a file path?  With a static reference VI, the compiler has a better idea on what you are trying to accomplish during the execution.

  I did it in before executables without any problem.  Personally, I like having a Boolean input of the Subvi, called "Display window" (or something like that) and then have the Subvi manage how it wants to open (or close) front panel.

  It is within the Subvi (which my main VI is still running).  The Subvi has a static reference to himself.  I have a button on the front of my VI main panel when you press on sends a 'true' to Boolean entry "display window.  The Subvi responds by opening the front panel upward.
