  First, find where are all updates to windows. Go to control panel to control---> programs.  Then, under programs and features, you will see a link called "see updates installed". Under Microsoft Windows, scroll down to KB2871389. Uninstall and then to accept the demand for restarting your computer.

  Now, log in under your account (with administrator privileges) and then go into the corner until the floating menu comes up, then choose settings. In settings, choose Edit settings of PC downstairs. Then click 'windows update' at the bottom of the right side of your screen. Search for updates now and it will take a few minutes, but they will find a (KB2871389). There is a message saying it will download automatically in the coming days, but ignore that, click on the link to install the update/s now and choose install now (or something like).

  Connect with an account admin, go to the store, choose the 8.1 update and now no admin problem.

  When I try to open one of my Adobe apps in my Master Collection subscription, I get a dialog box Adobe essentially telling me that Adobe can't activate the product because of my internet connect.  I am certainly in line and have tried several tests including:

  -restart the computer

  -Disable wifi and pluging in an ethernet cord

  -restart the computer again

  Whenever I'm certainly online through several browsers.

  It really sucks that Adobe doesn't offer phone support (for Activation, or Technical Support) Saturdays and Sundays and of course today is Saturday!

  I tried their live chat, but the Adobe rep talk to me later told me that they are not "trained technically' and call the hotline, which is not available until Monday.  What a joke!

  I've just used several applications in my Adobe membership yesterday without any problem at all (and have had no problems since I started the subscription weeks ago).

  Any ideas of what I can do would be much appreciated!  I was counting on the design of a lot of things this weekend!

But when I look at the contents of the disc, the only thing that indicates that there is nothing there's a folder name of the computer. I have files on the drive I installed manually. When I switch my pointer on the folder (name of my computer), it says that the folder is empty? Then when I open it there is a sub-folder called set back again several subfolders marked save the file with a date and a number. All these files are empty?

  I thought when I backed up the files on my drive external, that they would be there on the screen and freely accessible, like the ones I put on manually? Would someone mind explaining the process to me... in layman's terms?

Event ID #51, #11 bottom line I check the disc, I restarted computer sometimes the logical disks and primary transmission is up to leave after a certain time.  About 6 months ago I bought a new car because I had the same problem.  I had checked, adjustment, cables, power, bios, software update settings, BIOS and decided he could be the player.  I used manufacturing software troubleshooting - the drive past all the test.  I used the S.M.A.R.T. test - it past.  As I said I check disk found nothing.  However, I deleted and brought another drive.  Now, I get the same indications listed above.
