Optiarc DVD RW AD - 7560A ATA DEVICE cannot read the disc when inserted

Cannot read any disc, I put in the drive.  I tried to uninstall the drive and restart without result. I also tried the upper and lowers them retreat to the registry and nothing. Ive tried the fix from microsoft and it is unable to help as well. Ive shot in car and handed in did not help. now when I put k say nothing happens, but when I click on it in the menu it says insert the disc and opens even when a disc is already in it. It's very embarrassing and frustrating.any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you

BTW, sony vaio laptop and windows Vista edition Home premium

Have you all? Check with your system manufacturer, the manufacturer of the device and the myce.com
forums for the exact registry entries you need. And of course the drive could fail.

It is sometimes useful to restart at the top and work down through them carefully as the
Difficulty is often a combination of efforts.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total

    Hi Nikki 801,

Can you please try these steps?  Be very careful when you edit the registry.  If you would please do not delete anything immediately.  If you must please the following steps... If upper and lower filters is not in this registry key, simply leave the registry.

To resolve this problem, remove the affected filter drivers. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start

      Collapse this includes this image

type regedit in the Search box, and then click regedit in the programs list.

      Collapse this includes this image

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password, or click continue.

    2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Warning There may be many instances of the registry subkey that is mentioned in step 2. You must ensure that you are in the appropriate registry subkey before modifying the UpperFilters and LowerFilters values. To verify that you are in the appropriate registry subkey, make sure that the default data value is the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM and the class data value is CDROM.

    3. In the pane, click UpperFilters, and then click Remove.
    4. Click Yes to confirm the deletion of the UpperFilters registry entry.
    5. In the pane, click LowerFilters, and then click Remove.
    6. Click Yes to confirm the deletion of the LowerFilters registry entry.
    7. Exit the registry editor and restart the computer.

    Hello

19 code means there is a driver conflict such as two devices attempt to use the same resources.

Please start from the top and do ALL this, although you could have done some before as is often the
all operations which solves the problem.

Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT

I installed a CD using Windows Media Player AutoPlay as my default for audio CD the 1st song plays, but when I select the next song, I get a red X icon and an error saying the disc cannot be read and it climbs to the 3rd song. Why can it read well enough to still play some songs if it cannot read the disc. I'm getting confused. Can someone help me sort through this and help me make it work? Intermittent problems can be complicated to solve but it
seems that you have a hardware problem with the
optical drive. The player may require, cleaning service
    or replacement.

  • When I place a disc in my CD - DVD player, it says that it cannot read the media.

I use a Windows 7 computer and everytime I put a DVD in the drive, it says that it cannot read the disk media. I tried to uninstall and reinstall it, I also tried the Player update. The computer realizes that the drive is in the computer, but it will not play any DVD or CD. Anyone know how I can get running without having to disassemble the computer?

Clean the disc with a DVD cleaning disc, available in most stores and retail businesses.  If this fails so that the reader has probably not and must be replaced.

Beyond that... you need DVD Authoring software. The

To create a video DVD base that should play in a free

First... read the DVD Flick Guide to familiarize
    with the program.

Open DVD Flick and insert a blank DVD in your drive.

Click the project settings button and check... Video /.

    Accept.

The title button left click Add and navigate to your

You can have by selecting one and then use
    the up and down buttons.

Left click on the button create DVD / OK / Yes / Yes.

Please wait while the DVD is created.

When the text "Completed successfully" is displayed you
