Optimization of 3D image blocking LabVIEW

I'm evaluating the picture 3D for an upcoming project control - but every time I drag him in VI it causes LabVIEW to plant. The same also occurs when you try to load an example VI with a 3D picture control.

I'm using LabVIEW 2010 with Windows XP.

Any thoughts?

  • How to import an image in labview

    Dear Sir.

How can I import an image two bmp in labview and compare it... taking as reference and others as a sample...

Under the graphic palette and suond, you'll find two pallets more than imagews of the handle and the other image files.

Of those, you can do a pixel-by-pixel comapre.

  • Vectorize an image using Labview

    Hello world!

So, I work with a 3D cutting machine (Roland MDX - 15) and I'm supposed to design a program that can load images and burn them on a piece of wood using Roland MDX - 15.

What I've done, is to create a program where you can draw a picture using the tools of sketch of Labview and the machine will sculpt.

The machine is capable of carving the image using vectors (she follows lines point by point).

Now, I have to do the same thing, but an image that I have load in Labview. Therefore, I need to vectorize the image so that the machine gets a set of lines to draw. A program that is already it is Dr.Engrave (see youtube if you need to understand what I need).

So, anybody know a 'simple' way to transform an image into a set of vectors?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello VGans,

I assumed that when you talk of tracing any edge detection method would be allowed to help you get started.

If it is a false assumption, then let me know.

    Keeping this in mind:

Already taken a peek at the "IMAQ CannyEdgeDetection' VI?

This could be a good starting point for tracing purposes.

Can you let me know if that's what you're looking for?

  • retrieve and record continuous images in labview

    Hello

I use the NI 1744 smart camera to capture and record continuous images of a moving object. My smart camera is detected in MAX and made the seizure of an image. But when I use the attached file of VI in labview, the smart camera is not detected, only the webcam is detected and a video can be generated using the webcam. Please help me detect the NI 1744 smart camera. I will be grateful.

    Hello

Your smartcam is not directly accessible from your PC because it is a remote device.

Yes. They are provided with LabVIEW and are called examples. Help-> find examples. Then search in 'image '. If you have the image stored in a file then just read using one screw graphics and feed the data to the draw flattened Pixmap. Then send to an image control.

  • Properly calibrated Image accidents Labview

I try to learn a calibration to the four corners of the LCD and delete any point of view or rotation. I'm sure that I have all together until properly the only thing I want to fix is the calibrated Image creates a few edges pieces when the Tween is set to the zero order, but when I put it bi-lineaire (which is the only other non-grise option) and then run the LabView VI crashes every time.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Kevin

Thank you for the project. I was able to reproduce the problem. I have tabled a CAR to fix this in the next version. I have a solution for you to avoid this problem. If you keep the size of image border more than 0 (preferably 3) for the image of the model calibration, correction VI should work just fine. You must make this change to 'calibrate Setup.vi". You have all the constraints to reduce the size of the borders, 0?

    Thank you

  • display multiple images in Labview front panel

    Hi all

I have an application in which I want to show multiple images (say, 16) on the façade of labview (thumbnail is preferable). I want to show some information about the image (like their quality and the index number). Now if the user double clicks on a thumbnail of the image then I want to choose this particular image for further processing.

Could someone tell me please how to do this?

I see several approaches here.  We need to start by a group of 16 indicators of photo.  Put the photos in them.  There are several ways to scale to the size of the thumbnails.  The simplest is probaby the ZoomFactor of an image property.  One of the toolkits - Vision, I think - includes functions to resize the images.  There are also screws posted on this forum to do simple image and someone recently released most of the code to do with .NET.  You can then seek a double click on any of these images and determine where the user has clicked.  I think you can find the sample code to detect a double-click; the basic idea is that you look two mouse events down within a certain period of time by using a structure of the event.

Another method would be a single picture control displaying multiple images.  You want to search for two clicks to the same place (or very close to the same place) in a certain period of time, then determine the image that is displayed for this place.  A good start for it would be Ben emoticon display VI http://forums.ni.com/t5/BreakPoint/Starware-A-new-concept/m-p/616094?view=by_date_descending#M4595

  • Optimization of 2D image is not refresh properly

I have an application that displays an image in a 2D image indicator and draws a few rectangles and lines on the top of the image.

The locations of these lines of change throughout the day, and the application is designed to run reduced and then give a glance at different points of status when it is restored by the user.

Although reduced, however, the image seems not updated, even if my code is updated once per second. I can't really what happens when it is obviously reduced, but the behavior persists for some time after the window is restored, and is the State that is 'frozen' from the time wherever he played.

There are other numerical indicators on the front panel is updated in the same loop of 1 Hz, so I know that its just the indicator of 2D image which does not - that is to say, something with LabVIEW or associated system is causing the image that does not refresh while it is reduced and more importantly still, for some time after the application is restored.

Some things that will cause an update to the image after that I restored to the taskbar to a stale view:

    • Minimize once again, and then restore it again (from the window of LabVIEW)
    • Probe the datapath on the comic for final output to Draw Line that connects to the indicator
    • Wait some time (15 seconds? 30 seconds?)

I also tried to set the following property without effect node:

    • VI > Panel > be different updates from Control Panel > set to False

Another way to think about it would be to imagine a picture control 2D with an analog clock, where the lines are drawn to the hour and minutes and updated once per second.  This isn't what I do, but the example is easy to understand.  When the application is restored from the taskbar, the clock appears frozen in time since the last time it has been minimized.

Same behavior run this in LV 2012 and 2013... I am looking for property nodes or update methods to force a refresh to 1 Hz, without worrying if the display is visible.  The display should be immediately updated when the application is restored by the user.

    Hello m3nth,

I came across something similar a while back - at the time, I think that I found myself using the (Value) property, which seems to force a refresh.

    Kind regards

  • Images blocked on incoming emails

I have Windows Vista Home Premium with Internet Explorer 8 and that you recently had a problem with blocked Images.   I tried to 'See blocked images in an e-mail message', but this seems to be, through the bar of the Infromation which I don't see.   "" I also deleted the "block images etc" but to no avail.   Can someone advise me on how to overcome this problem recently?   I note that there is a current thread on users who have a similar problem, but as it comes to those who have IE 9 I thought it would be best to start a new thread that deals specifically with IE8.   I'd be more gratefful for any help.

It seems that if you actually IE 9.  IE 9 is automatically installed via Windows Update.  Very clear sound when changing its installed, such as fonts in the header of the component overview for the bolder and much more.  Also the information bar is and attachments are not displayed.  Try to open the message in a separate window and see if the information bar displays.  If you have all of these symptoms open IE and select help | Topic and you'll see its IE 9.  See here for more information: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#15 .  There is no case of this problem in IE 8, then I suspect you have installed IE 9 and don't realize it.

  • Images blocked in an e-mail message in Windows Mail

I double click the e-mail message as suggested in the help section, but no information bar will appear to allow me to display the image. I also tried to auto download all the images in e-mail by disabling "block images and other external content in HTML e-mail" and click 'OK' but that no longer works.

    Any thoughts?

First of all, let me thank Don, Sail 1234 and Kevin for your help.  I looked at my software security and windows mail in detail and it seems that all the settings are ok. Because of the terminology I may have missed something important, but everything seems to be ok. Kevin, article ask Leo.com was very interesting. I took his advice and put the addresses of people I know and get the emails on my 'list '. Since I did it I did not have the problem. If all goes well, that takes care of the situation. Incidentally, I sent an e-mail response to the person who sent me the original pattern that does not print and it resent it as an attachment and it came through fine.

    Thanks again for your help,

    Jerry (JerKil)

  • Parts of the images blocked

I'm working on an iMAC.  When I open a file (JPEG, normally) part of the image is blocked.  When I crop and move the crop autour, changes in blocking tool and the at times; e image.  After saving the file and its closure, I can reopen it in the preview and the whole image is here.  Is the problem with Photoshop or MAC?  What can be done to fix this?

Disable "Use graphics processor" in Camera Raw preferences.

    1. Preferences > Camera Raw...
    2. Uncheck "Use graphics processor" in the performance of the dialog section
    3. Restart Photoshop
