  I have a laptop on vista home-use.  When you look in the control panel - and then to uninstall, should there be several entries for SQL server, or one or none?  Each entry seems to have a different digital denotation, but apparently I should have only one entry maximum.

  The reason that I ask is that I have had problems in the software.  I want to uninstall everything that is not supposed to be there.

  Some lines of programs listed show information... some lines are completed.

  When you click on a line that is complete, I am allowed the usuall to uninstall, options etc.

  When you click on a line that is not complete, I'm not allowed the option uninstall.

  The Compact Edition and the full SQL Server can be installed at the same time without any problems. I saw SQL Server2005 apparently installed by a manufacturer, perhaps to support some software they have grouped in. He could have an Acer.

  I do not know what cause the problem with the uninstall option is not available. Information to fill in these fields are in the registry.

  It could be the result of a broken uninstall or a bad registry cleaner. I'm not aware of anything that would fix this. You can try this http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall

  but you may have to reinstall programs later.

  You need two redistributable Visual C++ if you have programs that need it, which is likely. They had several updates that fits into the list programs. I have two for 2005 and six for 2008.

  Change the settings of the REGISTRY can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved. Changes to these settings are at your own risk.

  It is possible to manually edit the system registry to remove the AutoPlay handlers. The AutoPlay handlers are stored in the following registry location:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
  \CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoplayHandlers\Handlers\

  Above registry key stores the Settings Manager, which is the action to perform when selected on AutoPlay.

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
  \CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoplayHandlers\EventHandlers\

  Above registry key stores the names of different events, which contains associated managers. Which mean all entries added as value to the event will appear as an option when the particular event occurs and the trigger AutoPlay menu dialog box.

  I read the article "obsolete devices in the AutoPlay list & multiple entries for the same features" and did what they said on the registry change, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

  I had an iphone and he sold on ebay, now in my autoplay menu, there is my iphone device listed in DEVICES. I would like to remove it, but there is no option to do this. I looked everywhere in the 'managers' and 'eventhandlers' regedit, but I can't find the name of my iphone or whatever it is about the iphone in particular. So I hope that someone could lead me in the right direction and it would be very appreciated. Is there a specific code or name for the iphone in regedit?

  I suggest you try the following steps:

  Step 1: Disable Autorun

   

  (1) open AutoPlay by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, on material and audio and then click AutoPlay.

  (2) turn off the AutoPlay use for all media and devices check box, and then click Save.

  Restart the computer and check.

  Turn on AutoPlay

   

  (1) open AutoPlay by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, on material and audio and then click AutoPlay.

  (2) select the game to use automatic for all media and devices check box, and then click Save.

  There are two questions that we can see your VI.  The first relates to screw DAQmx Express.  A single DAQ Assistant should be used to call all the channels on the same device.  From your code, I see that you have tried that already on the upper loop.

  The second question is that you have multiple loops while in the same VI.  It is possible to have several loops in LabVIEW, but the two are not synchronized in this case.  When two while loops are used, LabVIEW will come you only in a single loop and the second task will not run.

  Therefore, the approach is to have a single loop with a DAQ Assistant.  However, dynamic data (blue wire) can be divided to individual channels by using the "Split signals VI.  This can be found in the palette of block diagram under 'Express'-> 'Handling of Signal '->' Split signals. "

  I have attached a modified version of your VI you need to test.

  I'm new to BB, so I question seems simple for everyone, but not for me.

  If I want an app to run with multiple command-line arguments which is the good method for that download in the Simulator?  I tried to create two projects/workspaces separate where one is dedicated to the arg a command line in the properties for the project and the other is implemented for other arguments and I download one after the other but seems to only get one or the other work, not both at the same time in the Simulator... how it should be addressed?

  It is not 'simple for everyone'. Fortunately, there is enough documentation on it - you want to create alternative entry points.

• Tecra A9 - Remove Volume on-screen display/indicator

  I have a laptop series Tecra A9 running xp pro 32 bit and I am trying to remove the volume indicator on the screen. The laptop has a volume wheel on the edge closest to the user, and if it's on the knees, the volume knob gets hit all the time.

  Whenever it is typed, the volume on the indicator screen appears which becomes VERY annoying.

  I tried to find a way to change/edit that during a period of time and can't find anything conclusive. I was able to change some .dll and .exe files to change the picture a bit, but it has not completely solved my problem.

  I guess my questions are the following:
  1. is there a way to disable the screen display on only for the indication of volume?
  2. is there a a way to disable the wheel of scrolling shortcut to change the volume, keeping all other shortcut keys?
  3. is it possible to disable the wheel of scrolling shortcut and use a different way to change the volume. I found many other utilities to change the volume of the laptop that allow different variants of shortcut keys that I like to use instead of the scroll wheel.

  Let me know if any other information is needed.

  Any suggestion would be appreciated :)

  Maybe you could just cover the wheel with little electrical tape volume and use the command of Windows Volume to change the volume instead?

  I ran into a case where an artist (current swell in this case) is displayed several times for no reason that I can make sense. I tried selecting all the songs in question, select get info and the change of the artist and Album artist and any other similar information for all of the songs at the same time, but without success. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

  Hi, I have a HP pavilion dv6-6c01ej, and I want to use the on-screen display to see, for example when the volume when I turn upwards or downwards (also for changes in brightness and so..).

  I couldn't find the actual prgoram to the start menu (I don't even know if it exists).

  It was not the case for a long time.

  A pixel is a pixel. 2000 pixels will be 2000 pixels to display. the question is that of the device. The native resolution of a in 20 Apple Cinema Display is 1680 x 1040 so a 2000 pixel wide image will be too large for the screen at 100%

  On the other hand, the iMac 5K has 5120 x 2880 the same 2000 pixel image would take less than half of the screen.

  The 'thumb' of 72 240 or 300 resolution concerns only thumbs on a sheet of paper, not a screen.

  It could be hardware or software related. You can view these methods:

   

  Method 1.
  Computers get slower for various reasons: files become disorganized, unnecessary software consumes resources, readers of network unused slow start or too many programs run automatically at startup. Larger, serious questions can dramatically too slow down your computer's performance. You may have a virus or have need troubleshoot clean start.

  Check to see if the problem exists in Safe Mode, if the computer works as expected in mode without failure, then we can solve the problem in the clean boot state.

  My laptop closed spontaneously mode 256 colors and the "battery".  When I tried to turn it on again it would not respond.  I ended up using Ctrl-Alt-Del to stop it completely.  When I turned the computer back on it gave me a message on the "color mode" bubble and the screen looked "not normal."  I clicked on the bubble who said it would be 'restore' or something to that effect to the screen.  When he finished, I had a smaller screen display large icons.  Then I went into Control Panel and tried to get back to my original windows desktop and after much research, etc. have a "smaller version" of a desktop with the margins side black (approximately 1 inch wide).  I can't my screen fills the entire screen, regardless of what I do.  The option "stretch" in advanced settings is not the case.  What can I do?
