  We bought the satellite P300 with preinstalled Vista. It worked fine except for some major programs for hardware configuration in our society.

  So, we tried to install XP Professional on the primary partition that has been formatted before that. The blue screen where XP installs its files (after you have created the partition and formatting it) on the end to 99%, it says 'missing ntdlr.dll '.

  We first tought it has something to do with the SATA compatibility mode which we configured in the BIOS to cause driver AHCI missing on the XP CD. Then, we did a backup CD with nLite with the SATA drivers installed and run the AHCI mode.

  The same problem at the same point. I DIND'T try with another copy of XP but I know that it (a month old scratch free original CD) works very well because I installed it on another laptop front.

  The only thing that is strange od these partitions are mixed to the top. The partition where Vista was before is now D, it is also the reader where we tried to install XP, C is not the car with all the previous system backups and F it seams to be the Vista installation files.

  All applications other than Windows Explorer closes when you try to delete the files?

  If you close all other applications and still cannot delete a file, here are two methods that should work:

  A. use of command line

  1. Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
  2. Navigate to the directory (folder) where the file is located by using the cd (change directory) command.  For example, if you want to remove C:\Windows\Temp\eula.rtf, type the following command in the command prompt window and press ENTER.
     CD c:\Windows\Temp
  3. If there are spaces in the path to the directory, use double quotes, just to be on the safe side.  For example:
     CD "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10"
  4. To confirm that you are in the right directory, run the dir command:
     dir
  5. With the open command prompt window, open (CTRL + ALT + DELETE) Task Manager
  6. Under the processes tab, find explorer.exe, right-click on them and select "End process" DO NOT CLOSE TASK MANAGER.
  7. Return to the command prompt window and delete the file.  For example:
     EULA.RTF del
  8. When you have deleted all the files, you must remove, return to the always open the Task Manager window, click file > new task (run...).  Type explorer.exe, and then click OK

  Try these methods to solve the problem.

  Method 1: Re-register the following .dll files

   

  a. Click Start, and then click on run

  (b) in the Open box, type cmd, and then click OK.

  c. the prompt, type the following lines, pressing ENTER after each line:

  § regsvr32 slbcsp.dll

  § regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll

  § regsvr32 sccbase.dll

  d. click OK the message DllRegisterServer in filename succeeded.

  e. Type Exit, and then press ENTER.

  Method 2:

  Prior to remedial action, ensure that there is only one copy of slbcsp.dll sccbase.dll files in your C:\Windows\System32 folder. Create the following two subkeys:

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography\Defaults\Provider\Schlumberger
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography | Defaults\Provider\Infineon

  To do this, follow these steps:

   

  a. go to the start menu and click Run.

  b. type regedit in the Open box, and then press ENTER.

  c. find the following registry key
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography | Defaults\Provider

  d. Select the provider key.

  e. then, click the Edit menu in the Registry Editor window, select new and then click key.

  f. name the new key as Schlumberger cryptographic service provider.

  g. Repeat steps d and e. This time, name the new key as Infineon SICRYPT Base Smart Card CSP.

  h. then select the first key that you created, which is the Schlumberger cryptographic service provider.

  i. now, right-click on an empty area in the right pane of the Registry Editor window, select new, and then click String value.

  j. right click on the new string value that you created, click Rename, and then rename the Image path value.

  k now, right click on the string value, path of the Image and click on edit in the box under value data write C:\WINDOWS\system32\slbcsp.dll.

  l. click OK.

  Mr. then select key Infineon SICRYPT Base Smart Card CSP.

  n. Repeat step i and j.

  o then, right-click the string value, path of the Image and click on edit in the box under value data write C:\WINDOWS\system32\sccbase.dll.

  p., click OK.

  q. even once, select the key from the Service Provider Schlumberger cryptographic.

  a. right-click on an empty area in the right pane of the Registry Editor window, select new, then click DWORD value and rename it to SigInFile.

  s. again, right-click on an empty area in the right pane, select new, then click DWORD value and rename the value type.

  t. then, right-click on the value Type, select Edit, and in the box under value data, type 1. You can select hexadecimal or decimal Base.

  u. click OK.

  v. then select Infineon SICRYPT Base Smart Card CSP key in the left pane of the Registry Editor window.

  w. repeat r, s and t.

  x. click OK.

  This error is caused by a lack of installation of DirectX. Usually some DX files are already installed, but Setup cannot overwrite them. In my case, some of the files in \windows\SystemWOW64 have been accidentally encrypted, and the Setup program does not overwrite them. I had to manually delete these files for the Setup program to succeed. The cause may be different for you, but following these steps should help to understand which files DX are the cause of the problem.
  1. Install DirectX User Runtimes (refreshed June 2010) of http://www.microsoft.com/download/en...ang=en&id=8109
  You will be asked to choose the directory to put the files extracted from the cabin.

  2. run dxsetup.exe from the directory in step 1.

  3. installation failure will probably happen. Look at \Windows\Logs\DXError.log and find the report. INF in the error log file.
  For example:
  [13/07/11 20:36:35] module: dxupdate (Mar 30 2011), file: dxupdate.cpp, line: 2056, function: ExecuteInf
  Has no API: SetupInstallFromInfSection()
  Error: (5) - access is denied.
  Cannot install C:\Users\Foo\AppData\Local\Temp\DXA1BC.tmp\d3dx9_31_x86.inf: [x64_install]. The file is possibly corrupted.
  4. the INF files are files of configuration information, which are used to install the files listed in these. In this example, d3dx9_31_x86.inf is the. INF file. First, try to determine the. DLL file installed with this INF using the name of the INF file and look for a DLL with a name similar to \windows\systemwow64, if you are using 64-bit Windows, in \windows\system32, if you are using 32-bit Windows. In many cases, the name of the INF should tell you what DLL it installs, as shown in the examples below:
  
  xinput1_3_x86.inf install xinput1_3.dll
  d3dx9_33_x86.inf installs d3dx9_33.dll

  I have a program that uses the dll nicalu to moitor entries on a NOR-DAQ 6501 States.  It seems that if I install the NOR-DAQ drivers with a particular switch attached, the dll never recognizes another unit of 6501.  I have uninstalled/reinstalled the NOR-DAQ drivers and the only 6501 device that works is the one that is connected to the origin.

  I wiped another PC and loaded the drivers with another unit of 6501 and this 6501 unit works, but again, no 6501 unit only works with this computer.

  6501 units are somehow related to the hardware configuration?

  The main objective of this exercise is to the image of a hard drive with the NOR-DAQ drivers loaded to install on each PC using a 6501.  Right now the image restored PC only work with the 6501 that was used on the original PC and they have their own NO-DAQ 6501 units which do not work unless the player is cleared and the operating system is recharged, then installs it to NOR-DAQ drivers.

  Although 6501 are linked to a PC, I do not understand why uninstall and then reinstall the software OR-DAQ and the drivers do not work contrary to wipe the hard drive and then installing the NOR-DAQ software and drivers?

  Hi Dustin_IDI,

  NOR-DAQmx devices have names which are assigned to the first time they are connected on the PC, such as 'Dev1' and 'PXI1Slot5 '. For devices USB, these names are associated with the serial number of the device, so NEITHER-DAQmx will see the second USB-6501 as "Dev2', the third as"Dev3", etc..

  If you uninstall / reinstall OR DAQmx, the database maps between names and serial numbers is preserved, which explains why you get different results when you uninstall / reinstall OR-DAQmx, compared to when you wipe the hard drive and reinstall everything.

  If you open Explorer Measurement & Automation, you can use it to remove the old device and rename the new device to have the name of your application expects. Another approach is to modify your application to find the names of the installed devices, as described in How I can get all devices on my Machine DAQmx name programmatically?

  What is the best way to check if a group of route is connected before you try to establish a connection?

  I m using IVI and Switch Executive to connect/disconnect the route groups.

  Try to build a switch sequence something like that.

  Get the name of the group as an argument road. First, check if the routing group is connected (avoiding an error). If not, connect the Group itinerary, otherwise do nothing.

  Using the 'Get information' operation and entering the "route"(not groupe) in the channel 1 and channel 2 and checking the status seems to work ".

  But it seems to work by using road names (not the itinerary for group names).

  And I can't find how to resolve route of group names to links using IVI switch stage. (can make using Labview. but you can't combine LV IVI and IVI switch)

  You are looking for routes multiconnect. This is a setting that you can configure in the NI Switch Executive (NISE) for routes individually.

  Enabling this setting allows a road linking several times without generating the error that you have mentioned.

  However, a way of opening must be as often that you closed before. It is the task of the calling application to keep track on how many times you have closed or you just repreat by opening the road until you get an error of NISE.

  I think that already there is the feature request NISE stores the number of closures by route and add functions to query this information. Unfortunately, I have found it in less than a minute so maybe you want to spend more time to find. If you can't find, please do not hesitate to post (in the idea exchange forums!).

  Regarding working with triggers with a multimeter and a switch, two of these modules use triggers to perform handshaking scan-basically using triggers to synchronize the connecting channels 2532 in the commune for DMM measurement. The procedure is the following:

  1. the switch establishes a new connection: ch 1 to COM.

  2. the switch installs and sends a trigger "Advanced switch" to a TTL line on fht PXI backplane: PXI_Trig0

  3. the DMM watches this TTL and when he sees the trigger, he knows that the connection of the switch is good and he can now take a specified action.

  4. the DMM is the action and sends a trigger to "Measure" at the bottom of basket: PXI_Trig1

  5. the switch looked at this second line and uses the MC trigger to move to the next item in the scan list.

  Some things to note: Switch Executive is not able to scan using triggers.

  In addition, these places of relaxation (PXI_Trig0 and PXI_Trig1 in the above example) is configured by the user. Take a look at the example program niSwitch DMM switch Handshaking to see how triggers OR DMM and OR-Switch are configured.  It is possible to exit the trigger DMM full measure to the socket at the front of the DMM. The SCXI-1357 module can be used with and without cable to THE leave the DMM, control the SCXI chassis, and send the trigger to the SCXI.

  I guess the question for you is this trigger exactly do you want to export to your Simulator? I told you earlier about triggers using DMM and switch. However, if you want to use some kind of initial startup trigger to synchronize things, you might be out of luck.  The DMM and the switch have no way to generate such a release, and even if they did, does not have one of these to access the trigonometric lines of PXI chassis. You would need another module in the chassis that you could take advantage of, for example a PXI-6651 allowing access to the trigonometric lines, if you use the advanced trigger or a switch card DAQ with a counter to generate a pulse that you can use as a trigger.

  I suggest you to install manually. You need a copy of uphclean.exe. Follow these steps:

  (a) create a directory in Program Files for the service. (for example, c:\program files\uphclean)

  (b) copy the program (uphclean.exe) to the directory. (for example, c:\program files\uphclean\uphclean.exe)

  (c) open the command prompt.

  (d) change to the directory where you copied the program. (e.g. cd \program files\uphclean)

  (e) run the program with the switch installation to install the service and start. (e.g. uphclean - install)

  (f) the service is configured to start automatically when the computer starts while you will not need to start it manually.

  2. What is the full and exact error message?

  If you try to use the card via the phone, then you will need to either use Nokia PC suite or connect the phone to mass storage mode. Consult the manual of the phone for that.

  If you try to access the memory card via USB devices then you need not to install additional drivers.

My system is microsoft windows XP Edition family version 2002, service pack 3 (although in Add or remove programs there are no size MB next to service pack 3 and all my windows programs).
