• Difference between NAT vs vs Bridged, Host-only for the setting of my network card?

  When you use VMWare Fusion, what is the difference between NAT vs bridged vs Host-only for the setting of my network card?

  (Sort of related), if I use a VPN client on my guest will be Windows OS (as opposed to a my Mac OS host), who somehow reduce/limit the 'hooks' my company has also in my host operating system?  If so, I'm guessing that it then also prevents the limits / me being able to interact with my business from my host operating system environment?

  KB link doesn't seem to work right now, so here's a basic response:

  NAT - Windows receives an IP address of one of the background merging services

  Bridge - Windows Gets an IP address from the same place as your Mac does

  Host just - isolated virtual machine of the world except the Mac.  (useful in development and testing of the configurations)

  NAT - Windows puts on a different subnet from the Mac, so the virtual machine cannot speak for the same things the Mac can talk with on a Mac network.  It puts kind of router between the Mac and virtual machine

  'Sex' bridge - essentially the same as the Mac, so you can access network shares, etc.  Good for enterprise environments where the virtual machine needs to talk to a network resource shared (AD, SMB shares, printers, etc.)

  Host only - yet once, isolate the virtual machine of all but the Mac, so no Internet, no Intranet, but he can talk to the Mac itself.

  Is there a way I can block all instant messaging for the company so no one can do messaging for the company.

  I have a PIX 520.

  The PIX can only block traffic either by IP address or port and never on the level of the application. Blocking of instant messaging programs, it is a bit difficult and delicate. The type of application that you are trying to block has the ability to dynamically change the ports which makes it difficult to block. The best way to IM blocking would be to search for the Instant Messaging server's IP addresses and block them from inside the network through the list of access or the pipes. However, as the ports used by the application, the IP addresses change as every now and then.

  The driver needed is for the graphics card of Geforce 210 m inside the laptop, and I'm looking for the * 7-64 BIT Windows * version of the drivers.

  Download the driver from the NVIDIA website fails and says that no compatible devices does this driver I tried to install. further investigation of this using a hardware detection utility online from NVIDIA. This revealed that NVIDIA has not supported this edition of the Geforce 210 m as amended by toshiba, and I wish to download from there website.

  However, this driver is not on the mytoshiba.com.au website...

  If you can t find this driver, you can try a Vista driver. Most of them are also work on Windows 7. :)

  I have a hp pavilion desktop elite model e9160f which has started going black and nothing works, but forced a stop. I said "Nvidia windows kernel mode driver version 320.49 has stopped working (and recovered but when he does just turns black again and freezes). I tried a set to an earlier date and 3 different drivers but no luck. I think the original driver would work because I think that it updated for the first time before this problem. Please help if anyone knows how to resolve this short put in a new Board of pilot. Thank you very much.

  I got into it and viola! It was my graphics card is bad. I discovered that I got updated to 3D graphics card and it works very well for my use. I am running with much less baggage that I updated my system for windows 8.1 pro. All busy to get what I want back.

• Beware of the refund policy for the electronic funding/e-gift card from HP

  I recently bought a dv6t and looked forward to happen. This computer arrived damaged and I had to send it back immediately. The exchange of treatment was so painful and frustrating it is doubtful I will be never buy another product from HP. I used a combination of HP credit card ($1000 credit limit) and electronic gift card to make the purchase. The reason why I used a gift card was my total purchase exceeded the credit limit of $1000 and HP would not take a credit card (credit or debit) to complete the transaction. I was told that my ONLY recourse was to buy and ask for a gift card from HP. After arrival with the computer screen damage I decided that I wanted a full refund because the audio was also very poor and I didn't like how this computer sounded at all. I was told that I was obliged to complete the transaction with the gift voucher is NOT REFUNDABLE! I felt that I was being held hostage as my gift card was over $500. I think it's a totally fraudulent way of doing business and for my part will think very hard never to do business with HP again. It's a shame because I've always liked the HP product and I have been a loyal customer for many years, having spent thousands of dollars at HP. I was ashamed of HP for the way they dealt with my problem. I was told that I could still use the e-gift card that I was "stuck" that now for other HP products. Why would I do this after getting scammed by buying the e-gift card in the first place. I finally finished and re - placed an order for a 2nd laptop, but this will probably be my last relationship with HP. They are a great company to deal with until something is not, then the customer may be left holding the bag or in this case, the e-gift card!

  HP DISCLAIMS ANY form of additional funding other than a gift card from HP when the purchase involves HP E-financing credit card. In other words, if I use my credit card of HP and I have enough line of credit for a transaction, the ONLY other form of funding that they will pay the difference is a gift card from HP. No Visa, no Master Card, not American Express, etc... Gift card ONLY. Believe me, I've exhausted this issue in detail. The only combination accepted when you use your credit card of HP is a HP combination of gift cards / credit card. You can combine nothing else than a gift card with their E-financing (credit card of HP). No more credit cards not authorized HP gift card/cheque ONLY.  It was my point worldwide and is the reason why I think it's a way to get the customer to 'use' a gift card.

  Can someone tell me for Dell XPS M1330, NVIDIA which(model,specification) graphics card is compatible. Dell is saying that I have to buy any motherboard but local dealer says that they can replace only the NVIDIA card, but I don't know which is compatible for the Dell XPS M1330 motherboard. already replaced 3 motherboard due to problem of nvidia.

  Dell is right - there is no video to replace card.  The video chip is soldered to the motherboard, to be modified GPU failure.

  All the nVidia GPU used in the M1330 share the same technical failure - you are just as likely to see the next Board fail.  If you really want to keep the system, replace the motherboard with the Intel-video version (you need a new heat sink as well).  Otherwise, no matter what the jury would cost to replace would be better spent on a replacement system.  Between the age of the system and faulty engineering nVidia this line of chips, it's a dead-end.

  I recently acquired a storm (9350).  I get very familiar with this camera and enjoy its capabilities.  After reading a lot of messages and advice given here, I learned a lot more that I thank you all for.

  My as stated above question the limited cache and internal memory (device).  Specifically, is there a setting or a way in which I can have use of the storm the SD card installed to store the cache and temporary files?  I ran into the problem of running out of memory flash and have the "garbage collection" to take my storm when you try to use it.  (Here), I learned how to clean the cache and restore/free space files.  How can I do a more permanent solution?

  Nope... This is a physical limitation in the device. For making even the attempt would completely void the warranty... and I doubt you can find adequate patterns to tell you how to do it.

  SC-2345 cannot have been made to manage 4 meters, OR helped to support 4 meters!

  It turns out that I could re - route output terminal of a channel by adding a simple 'channel node' block in my VI original, as seen in the example of ' Counter - continuous Output.vi "built-in LabVIEW VI.

  Using this method, I rerouted CTR03 OUT via PFI0 instead of PFI15 since the SC-2345 supports a line of PFI0.
