Hello
(1) If you use "DORECOVER" while cloning, please remove it.
(2) its still not, simply set the FRA and IE
ALTER system set DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST = '+ DATA ';
ALTER system set db_recovery_file_dest_size = 2GB;
Note: Set it to primary and standby
Clone of the DB.
It works perfectly now, and once Reset original value if you do not want it.
Happy cloning :)
Kind regards
Rakesh

ORA-28132: the MERGE syntax IN does not support security policy
Hello
With the help of Oracle 11 g R2.
I have the following problem:
If the user attempts to perform a MERGE INTO statement on a table (T1), it receives the error ORA-28132: The MERGE IN syntax does not support security policy.
Is there a way I can solve this problem by giving the user more rights on this specific table, T1? Or I need to rewrite the SQL code using UPDATE and INSERT instead MERGER?
I can't grant POLICE ACCESS TAX-FREE, it would be too powerful privilege...
Please advise,
M.R.
You may need to recreate the political VPD:
Note:
In previous versions of Oracle database, when you created a strategy Oracle virtual private database on an application that included the
MERGE
INTO
statement, theMERGE
INTO
declaration could be avoided with aORA-28132: Merge into syntax does not support security policies
error, due to the presence of the virtual private database policy. From Oracle Database 11 g Release 2 (11.2.0.2), you can create policies on applications that includeMERGE
INTO
operations. To do this, in theDBMS_RLS
.ADD_POLICY
statement_types
parameter, include theINSERT

statements, or simply omitstatement_types
setting altogether. Refer to the Oracle Database Security Guide for more information on the application of the strategies on specific types of SQL statement. -

Retrieve by using the backup control file
Hello
I was reading a book called Pro Oracle Database Administration by Darl Kuhn. There, under the theme of "The valuation of the loss of all control files", noted that all data files and control files are restored from a backup, because if we do not restore the data files the RCS in control files would be lower than the data in these scenarios files. Since online redo logs and archived newspapers is applied to the data files to roll forward in a current consistent state and does not roll forward to a control file.
It is then mentioned to use 'recover the database by using the backup control file' then apply the logs (archive and redo if necessary).
However I personally tested this script in a test environment and to bring all the backup control file could issue the same command as above and recover the database.
My question is I know again and archives are applied only to the data files. So how does the control file are synchronized back when we do not restore the backup data files.
Thank you
If we do not restore the data files, the RCS in control files would be lower than the data files. Since online redo logs and archived newspapers is applied to the data files to roll forward in a current consistent state and does not roll forward to a control file.
It would be incorrect you have determined. You can only restore the control files. You can manually create a control file and always do the restore.
My question is I know again and archives are applied only to the data files. So how does the control file are synchronized back when we do not restore the backup data files.
The control file is updated as well.
See you soon,.

We use CUPS and this is the way that we use for printing.

When we try to run the same program manually, giving the name of the printer and the number of copies at 1, then we are able to see the pdf output. Other reports are normal bi publisher also works well, w.r.t. this printer. We face this problem when we run xml program, with the option of printing bursting.

KrishnaHI. You actually mingle a few questions. You cannot restore controlfile from this snapshot controlfile. Snapshot controlfile goal being the other. At the resynchronization with recovery catalog RMAN must snapshot controlfile. That means and this purpose. You can restore controlfile from automatic backup or backup (controlfile) compatible.

missing volume control
volume control was gone. I tried to go into my control panel to use it, but I get an error that says:
"Windows cannot display the control volume on the taskbar because the Volume control program has not been installed. To install it use Add/Remove programs in Control Panel. »
I have lost my Windows XP disc in a move and can't reinstall the file to a disk, how to fix this?
When you use certain features sounds and Audio devices, you see a message like this:
Windows cannot display the control of volume on the taskbar because the Volume control program has not been installed. To install it use Add/Remove programs in Control Panel.
It seems that the c:\windows\system32\sndvol32.exe file is missing.
This may occur if your antivirus/antimalware application thinks the file is suspicious and quarantines (effectively delete) the file. You can replace the missing file with a backup copy of the file that is in another folder on your system.
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..
Assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive...
We know that XP keeps copies of critical system files in the following folder:
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache
Using the Explorer, search for or navigate to the following folder:
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache
Locate the sndvol32.exe file, right-click, choose copy (it copies the file to the Windows Clipboard).
If your Solution Explorer settings are not set to display file extensions, you will see only a file called 'sndvol32' which has an icon that looks like to the volume control slider (this is the file you need).
If the file is missing in the dllcache folder, look for a copy of the file in this folder:
c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386
Browsing from a level in the following folder:
c:\Windows\System32
Right-click on an empty area in the window of c:\windows\system32 and choose Paste to paste in the missing file where it belongs.
Answered in the affirmative if invited to replace the existing file.
Now try your features sounds and Audio devices.
Note that run sfc/scannow will not replace the missing file because it is not this that sfc/scannow does.
