ORA 12 c install error on openSuse: reference to the "__tls_get_addr@@GLIBC_2.3" undefined symbol

Hello world

I know that Oracle does not support the OpenSuSE, but all previous versions of the database has worked.

With Oracle 12 c, the installation fails. I get the error below.

No doubt someone has a useful idea?

Yours, user8632123.

I use opensuse 12.3 and I have this error too.

My solution is

(1) backup (ORACLE_HOME) / lib/stubs, and then delete.

(2) change RMAN_LINKLINE in the {ORACLE_HOME}/rdbms/lib/env_rdbms.mk file

TO

RMAN_LINKLINE = $(LINK) $(OPT) $(S0MAIN) $(SSKRMED) $(SKRMPT).

$(LLIBDBTOOLS) $(LLIBCLIENT) $(LLIBSQL) $(LLIBPLSQL).

$(LLIBSNLSRTL) $(LLIBUNLSRTL) $(LLIBNLSRTL).

$(LLIBSLAX) $(LLIBPLSQL) $(LIBPLCN) $(LINKTTLIBS) - lons

(3) all reissue them.

    Hi otev,.

    Before windows updates, follow these methods.

    Method 1: Reset the Windows Update components.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/971058

    Method 2: Temporarily disable the security software.

    Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 3: Put the computer in a clean boot State prior to update installation to see if there are any software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    Note: After the clean boot for troubleshooting, return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

    You can also manually install updates (KB number) by downloading from the Microsoft Download Center.

  • UTL. MAIL error ORA-29279: SMTP permanent error: 501 syntax of address error in

    Hello

    I'm new to the forum please excuse if I post not properly without standards.

    We need to send mails using the UTL. MAIL package and installed them on the database.
    Whenever I try to send an email, I get the following error:

    ERROR on line 1:
    ORA-29279: SMTP permanent error: 501 syntax of address error in
    [email protected]
    ORA-06512: at "SYS." UTL_MAIL", line 654
    ORA-06512: at "SYS." UTL_MAIL", line 671
    ORA-06512: at line 2

    The test code that I am running is:

    BEGIN
    UTL_MAIL. Send (sender = > 'test < [email protected] >',)
    recipients = > "[email protected]"
    subject = > 'test UTL_MAIL subject. "
    message = > "UTL_MAIL test body");
    END;

    I tried different combinations:

    BEGIN
    UTL_MAIL. Send (sender = > "test"< [email protected] >"")
    recipients = > "[email protected]"
    subject = > 'test UTL_MAIL subject. "
    message = > "UTL_MAIL test body");
    END;

    even tried

    BEGIN
    UTL_MAIL. Send (sender = > '[email protected]',)
    recipients = > "[email protected]"
    subject = > 'test UTL_MAIL subject. "
    message = > "UTL_MAIL test body");
    END;

    Whenever I get the same error.
    It seems to work with a server exchange e-mail, but never on the SMTP server.

    In the SMTP address of the sender server logs is not to have the <>of brackets unlike other emails that are sent to the course.
    It seems that the SMTP server is quite strict and the SMTP administrator will change all the settings on the server.

    The version of oracle is as follows

    Oracle Database 11 g Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64 bit Production

    Could you please help me with a solution.
    Some how the brackets are undressing (which usually UTL MAIL package), is it possible that I can include the brackets.

    I don't like UTL_MAIL - UI abstraction clumsy and poor and not very well written.

    Had a look at the code. It does this:

    WHILE (ALL_RCPTS IS NOT NULL) LOOP
          UTL_SMTP.RCPT(MAIL_CONN,'<' || GET_ADDRESS(ALL_RCPTS) || '>');
    END LOOP;

    The process function GET_ADDRESS() ALL_RCPTS parameter, returns the address 1 of him and updates (in and out) parameter with the remaining string.

    SQL> var address varchar2(200);
    SQL> exec :address := ',[email protected]';

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

    SQL> exec dbms_output.put_line( 'get_address='||UTL_MAIL.GET_ADDRESS(:address)||' address='||:address );

    The address is explicitly surrounded by square brackets in accordance with RFC. So what needs to see your SMTP server.

    If this isn't the case-maybe then our UTL_MAIL versions do not match. I don't remember what version I pulled and unpacked UTL_MAIL package code I have.

    Personally, I stopped using the UTL_MAIL earlier. Missing in may points. I wrote my own e-mail package that supports multiple attachments, formatting complex Mime, attachments of 20 + MB in size and so now - running on the UTL_SMTP interface (which provides for mail transport layer). And for the problems you are having, I suggest considering using UTL_SMTP directly.

  • How to install Firefox on Opensuse 11.4 29

    I intend to install Firefox on Opensuse 11.4 29

    29 Firefox as last selenium (used for the automation of GUI) supports up to 29

    OpenSUSE 11.4 due to my project requirements.

    After you have installed Opensuse 114, I knew this version of firefox by default is 4.0b12.

    I met under the site
    https://en.openSUSE.org/Additional_package_repositories#Mozilla

    but this does not indicate a 29 Firefox version.

    Thank you

    Notice the b9 as that means it was beta version 29,0 9. In other words, that he could ask for an update to the latest beta version of 36.0

  • Cannot download Fallensword Helper Scripts. Get ' Script cannot be installed error: failed @require json2.js.

    Hello, I did a disk eraser and reinstalled everything (to clean computers), then when I had to reinstall firefox I had a problem. I play a game called Fallensword. He has a script called Fallenswordhelper. So I installed GreaseMonkey, then when I tried to install the scripts said "Script cannot be installed error: failed @require json2.js. I did it for my computer every year since I started to use computers. I've never had this before. Please help me to get a fix for this, because I google it and cannot find an answer.

    I am the original author of FallenSwordHelper. It was due to some changes in GreaseMonkey 0.9.0, which made it impossible to have local scripts.

    I did an update (temporary?) so that extra all scripts (such as json2.js) now use absolute URLS.

  • Error with Wi - Fi for the night: "no hardware installed.

    Hello

    I am writing to a very painful problem occurred a few days ago (8 Feb). I went back to my Mac, a Mac Book Pro 13 "(fin 2011) and I found the wi - fi completely turned off, with an alarming"no hardware installed"error." Here is a screenshot:

    Ethernet works fine (thankfully).

    As a first step, I have re-installed OS X El Capitan (10.11.3), without wiping the hard drive. Nothing has changed.

    Then I restored the system of my time since the standby Machine. Yet once, nothing has changed.

    I also bought a USB wifi, USB Asus N10 Nano, but still no sign of life since Wi - Fi.

    Here are a few screenshots of the information system:

    Network/Wi-Fi

    Hardware/USB

    I don't know what to do next or where to look further.

    Any tips?

    Thank you very much!

    Nicholas

    In some cases, this problem is caused by a hardware failure. A loose connection, a short circuit or microscopic pause in a weld joint can open and close according to temperature, making intermittent failure.

    Please test after taking each of these steps you have already taken it. Back up all data before making any changes.

    1. Disable Bluetooth. If you have a desktop Mac, you will need a wired keyboard and mouse to take this step. Those that are useful to have anyway, because Bluetooth is not totally reliable. If a Wi - Fi connection works with disabled Bluetooth but not when you turn it on, remove all the pairings in the Bluetooth preferences panel and recreate them. Restart the computer and then test again.

    2. There are some reports that the problem has been solved by unchecking the box marked

    Continued access to the Wi - Fi network

    in the tab of the energy saver preferences window power adapter. I can't confirm.

    3. reset the NVRAM.

    4. reset the system management controller.

    5. start in recovery mode. In the menu bar of the OS X Utilities screen, there is a menu of Wi - Fi. Try to connect.

    6. triple - click anywhere in the line below on this page to select this option:

    /Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist

    Right-click or Ctrl-click on the highlighted line and select

    Services ▹ reveal in Finder (or just to reveal)

    of the contextual menu.*, a file must open with a selected item. Move selected item to the trash. You may be prompted for administrator login password. Restart the computer and empty the trash.

    * If you do not see the item context menu copy the selected text in the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. In the Finder, select

    Go ▹ go to the folder...

    from the menu bar and paste it into the box that opens by pressing command + V. You won't see what you pasted a newline being included. Press return.

    7. an appointment of 'Genius' to an Apple Retail Store, or select another authorized service provider.

  • Cannot use the references in Subvi cluster (error 1055, invalid references)

    Hello

    I'm going through a lot of that through a cluster to a Subvi.

    The idea here is to manipulate objects in the MainVI in the nodes property thorugh Subvi, which gains the reference number of the cluster.

    In the Subvi, I use unbunling by name to access the references I need. However, I get an error 1055 (invalid references) every time I try to access the object by using the node property.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Attached you will find three files:

    The mainVI: Main.vi

    The Subvi: Single_Cam_RefBased.vi

    The def of the type for the cluster: RefClusterTypeDefinition.ctl

    Thanks in advance,

    Marcel

    The constant you have wired to the bundle is not the same as the cluster of type defined wired to your Subvi.

    I was going to say the same thing. This should be the first thing to try. (I haven't studied the Subvi, but it seems buggy too...)

    COMMENT: Again something is screwed in the current VI which makes no sense. Hovering above the terminal should tell us information about the corecion, but in this case it is said that the terminal is something like a cluster of error. This might just be a cosmetic bug...
