Try using the JDBC URL instead of JDBC data source to run AppModule or run the application locally of JDeveloper. But if you will deploy the application on stand-alone weblogic, you use the JDBC data source and enter the name of the data source that is defined in weblogic

  • New to OAF - oracle.jbo.RowCreateException: Houston-25017: error when creating a new entity for HeaderTableEO line

    Hi I'm new to OFA. I am trying to create a master-details form based on the example given on Youtube (but using my own paintings).

    I have already defined in table colums.

    AM code is as follows:

    Public Sub CreateEmailHdrRow()

    {

    xxVmmcSendEmailDefHdrVOImpl vo = getxxVmmcSendEmailDefHdrVO1();

    String s = "Test";

    Line = vo.createRow ();

    If (!) VO.isPreparedForExecution ())

    {

    vo.setMaxFetchSize (0);

    }

    row.setAttribute ("EmailDefName", s);

    row.setNewRowState (Row.STATUS_INITIALIZED);

    }

    When I run, the error occurs at the level of line (rank rank = vo.createRow ();)

    Error message: oracle.jbo.RowCreateException: Houston-25017: error when creating a new entity for xxVmmcSendEmailDefHdrEO line.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Anjan,

    Please check that the type of the CreatedBy attribute is a number representing the id in FND_USER and not the actual text of the name of the user. Standard Oracle columns that use a number for this value not varchar.

  • oracle.jbo.RowInconsistentException: Houston-25014

    Hello, I am using JDeveloper 11.1.2.3.0

    I get this error message "oracle.jbo.RowInconsistentException: Houston-25014: another user has changed the line... etc.". In fact no one has changed the line. I get this error when I commit some changes to a row in my table, then change something else and commit again without going to other lines. I link validation to a managed bean method, the code is as follows:

           OperationBinding operationBinding = getBindings().getOperationBinding("Commit");
            DCIteratorBinding yourIt = getBindings().findIteratorBinding("MyIterator");
            Row r = yourIt.getCurrentRow();
            r.setAttribute("Modifiedby", userId);
            r.setAttribute("Modifiedon", new Date());
    Object result = operationBinding.execute();
    return null;...

    If I don't put the two attributes, I get no error, and I can't change other attributes of the form of the user interface without problem. These two attributes do not appear in the form of user interface, because must be filled by programming according to the current date and the ID of the user who uses the system.

    Can anyone help please?

    Hi Dani,

    Finally, I found the problem, it is reported in the Support of Oracle as Doc ID 1503173.1.

    It seems jDeveloper is a bit special when adding directories for the file of Mar. If the entire directory "/ oracle ' is added, the adf - config.xml introduced the following line:

    namespace metadata-store-use = "WebCenterFileMetadataStore" path = "" / oracle "/"

    Therefore, it turns away all requests to/oracle /... file and class of MDS, which causes failures.

    Thus, when the change of the deployment MAR profile be sure to select the subdirectories under/oracle/webcenter/portalapp/one by one.

    Added to that, I had to perform the cleaning process that you suggested to operate too, otherwise I get a different error...

    Final steps are:

    1 cancel the application deployment.
    2 delete the partition MDS.
    3 stop managed server.
    4 delete the content/cache and / TMP to the server managed.
    5. start the managed server.
    6 Exectute Clean all in jDeveloper.
    7. create a new deployment of mar as described in 1503173.1 SR.
    8. EAR file deployment.
    9 deploying the new application with the server managed using Enterprise Manager.

    And it works!

    Thanks for your help!

    Any suggestions would be a great help.

    Thank you!!!

    the jdbc code must be debugged. The JDBC database exception, it is that some
    result set is accessed, which was closed. The reason why you see
    now and not before, may have to do with the non-security of the threads of the JDBC
    code and there is perhaps more competitive access now, exposing you to more
    chances of hitting any such bug.

    If you can enable JDBC logging, the jdbc log file will have the full original battery
    track of the SQLException exception. That would be good info. What service pack of
    8.1? is this 8.1sp6, sp3?
