  is it possible for the output of a page, when you access, as raw html?
  
  I've created a report using the printer friendly model and a query using dbms_xmlgen.getxml like this

  select dbms_xmlgen.getxml('select code, descr from items') xml    from dual;

  This property returns the xml output, but the source of the page also contains some other stuff.
  
  I used to use it in an iphone app, so I want the page output to be only the XML in the request.

  What about using the 'XML' model related to the simple SQL query - say: without DBMS_XMLGEN - APEX
  model report "XML" will be responsible for formatting XML - you don't need DBMS_XMLGEN more...

  I have problem with matrix necessary report...

  I did it before using the pivot function in rtf export then the stylesheet xsl fo... model

  My problem here is in this case, the desired column (value - the center column) is the text column, and the pivot is based on the aggregate (sum or count) function that I don't want in my case.

  Attached my XML, and sample to in the excel sheet...

  and to understand the business, it's for quality module in EBS... The user can take 3 samples in the same sample for the same item, I want to show the name of tests alongside its results grouped by the number of the sample.

  Best General is never changing the seeded directly programs (reports, models, etc...).

  Make a copy of the data model, model RFT (in your case) an object custom (e.g. XX_APXINRIR) and adapt it to your needs and define the new ask competing who would refer to this new data and model rtf.

  PS: The "Update" is disabled for seeded reports - normal - it is always the case where Oracle does not allow any extension.

• How to print barcodes in Oracle XML Publisher report

  We have a report of rdf that prints the bar code in the start page based on a custom procedure of MarkView. It works well with Oracle Reports.

  But given that this report was a matrix report, we change it a linear relationship by Oracle XML Publisher report.

  We have every possible thing in the new Oracle XML report... But we are not able to print data from barcode which is BLOB in the XML report...

  Can someone help me on this? We have dates UAT at the corner...

• How to find the XML Publisher repository to the server Oracle EBS 11i?

  I need to update a models mass rtf that is born as a report xml editor in Oracle 11i apps. I know that I can go to the liability of Director of Publisher XML to load the model one by one between the user interface, but it's a lot of your time. I'm trying to find the location of these files in the server (unix or db). Also, is there any document on the deployment report xml to the application server Editor?

• Mapping of Digital Signatures in Oracle XML Publisher

  I correctly mapped Digital Signatures in the Bi Publisher reports.
  
  Now, I want to have the same digital signature functionality for use in out Oracle XML Publisher of custom report regular, in areas such as finance and HRMS where several document reports are generated and require audits.
  
  There is no configuration for mapping digital singatures in the XML editor as if it were avaiable in BI Publisher > Configuration of the Administration.
  
  Can someone tell me how to map the digital signature created from Adobe Signatures, in already existing RTF / templates PDF?

• How to see the Greek characters inside a report PDF (made with XML Publisher)

  I just patched my e Business Suite (ver. 11.5.9) in order to use XML Publisher 5.6.3.
  It works fine, but I have a big problem when I want to see Greek characters inside my report; rather than see the Greek characters, I see only "?"
  
  I tried to add some fonts under the responsibility of the administrator of the XML Publisher after the Doc ID: 373377.1 'How to install a font using XML Publisher administrator', but my problem remains intact: I do not see my Greek characters
  
  Do I need to add all the other fonts on the file system? and where? (under what path), or I put something at the level of responsibility XML Publisher administrator (under the Administration link)?
  
  Any help will be appreciated, because it is very urgent to know how to solve this problem.

  Check the value of the variable $AF_CLASSPATH, then make sure that JRE_TOP/lib/fonts belongs to this variable env (in addition to $CLASSPATH).

  Looks like this isn't a problem of configuration or installation, since the report works for other records. So, have you tried to look at this record and find out why the report does not treat? Compare the values of this record and try to find the difference between it and other documents.

• Error trying to update the model XML using XML Publisher administrator

  Hello people,

  We are on R12.1.3

  I changed a condition in a report and you try to download the new model XML using XML Publisher administrator.

  When I click the button to apply, it is throwing an error "bad request".

  Navigation: XML Publisher Admin > data definitions > query report

  Click on the report name > click 'Update file', in addition to the data model > choose file > click Apply

  I get the below error

  Bad request

  Your browser has requested that this server could not understand.

  
  

  Now, I could not download a new model of XML.

  
  

  I'm doing something wrong.

  Hi, I created under the model to test several model of sheet in workbook (file is good, it opens in Internet Explorer without error). When I tried to download a model I get error, no matter what option of XSL, I chose:

• EBS XML Publisher and discoverer of the integration

  We have an installation Oracle EBS (11i) and Oracle Discoverer. And the question is: is it possible to integrate worksheets of discoverer with the XML Editor, which is integrated in EBS?
  I found the manuals on the discoverer with BI Publisher Enterprise integration, but have no idea how do with the editor of the EBS. Maybe it is possible to upgrade EBS BI Publisher Editor without buying additional license?
  Any info is appreciated!

  Discoverer of Oracle 10 g / 11g with Oracle EBS 11i are certified so it should work with XML Publisher reports - I'm not clear about your needs, and it would be helpful if you could elaborate more.
