order a "pulsed" LED

Hello

What would be the easiest way to put a LED on and off at a rate that is controlled by a button or something. Which means that I could either leave it turned off the coast or make impulse all three seconds, five seconds, etc.. ?

I have attached the vi in version 9.0.

    Get an external flash instead.

Your T3i may act as a master flash, so you can even get the external flash off camera for even better results.

  • T410 + battery Slice - sleep problem

    Dear community,

I have a Thinkpad T410 with the following specifications:

    Intel Core i7 620 m

    4 GB of RAM

    NVIDIA nv3100m

    Windows 7 Professional x 64

I have problems if I go to fashion 'sleep'. If I press mode 'sleep', the t410 go to sleep less than 1 second pulse led on the power button, and the sign of the moon on the back of the LCD turns off. Next time if I turn on the T410, Windows asks me if I will start normally or in safe mode. So this means that the battery or the T410 certainly interrupts the current, and they seem to have no power. But it doesn't happen every time. For example, I give the following:

Main battery: battery 100%: 100%: "sleep" mode works perfectly

Main battery: battery 100%: 50%: "sleep" mode works perfectly

Main battery: battery 100%: 0%: "sleep" mode works perfectly

Main battery: battery Slice 75%: 0%: "sleep" mode works perfectly

Main battery: between 60 downto 0% battery range: 100%: standby mode does not work.

I did this for the moment a long time. I can't give a percentage by exactly, when the sleep mode does not work, but if the slice to 0% and the main battery approximately between 60% downto > 0%.

I updated my BIOS and also the energy Manager. But there is the problem more far.

Anyone have the same problem and have a solution for this? I think that behave in the system/T410 isn't normal right?

Thanks in advance for your help. I look forward to your answers...

    Best regards

  • How to put a meter index events who has access?

    Hi all

Noob here again. I guess I'm missing something here, but I can't seem to find what I need to do.

I have an external/master while loop for my vi. I have a case of event inside.

I have a couple of clusters, a left... and a good.  Each has a series of 7 LED Boolean controls. And 7 digital controls.

I've set an event for every change in the value of the Boolean LED.

I am eager to follow the order that each LED is selected and set the value of the digital correspondents to this index.  This will show the user on the GUI, the number of each has been selected.

I'll run through these more late to know the order they were selected (R2, R1, L1, L4, L5... etc), thinking when it's time for the event to spit this return info, I'll create a text with R2, L1, R1, L4, L5, etc to see what signals will send time.

I've seen examples of using a shift register in a loop for something like that, but I don't want to be in response to random user... they can click on part and the other in an order, and I need to enter it.

I can't find any numeric variable type, I can put in the block diagram to act as a meter index... all I see are constant.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,

    Cayenne

I thought you said you understood examples of shift register.

The wire is the variable.  If you want to increment the value in a thread you put a function + 1 on it.  Her son in the shift register on the right hand side the shift register left side gives the new value in the next iteration of the loop.

  • Smartband Feature request

    Hello

3 months using the smartband with my Z2 phone, I miss some important features:

    1. Auto silent mode: usually, I have my phone in silent mode, because the vibrations smartband are sufficient for calls and notifications. The problem is when I leave my phone away and disconects from smartband. If I get calls or notification, when smartband is off limits miss me them because the phone is in silent mode. An automatic silent mode when smartband is connected will be a great feature. I tried with Smart connect app, but smartband is not available for creating a new event when is connected/disconnected.
    2. Auto Unlock. Smartband NFC could be used as a key to unlock the phone instead of manually password/unlock model. Very useful when you have unlock password required by a working profile e-mail account.
    3. Display time with leds/vibrations. A way to know the time directly from smartband if you do not close clock/phone. For example, with the number of led flashes. First led to show the hours and the second and third leds to show the minutes (second ducts for decades and third unit). 18:25 times, in order first testament led flashes 6 times, second led flashes 2 times then and third led will Flash 5 times.
    4. Manually the sport mode. Specify on lifelog manually what sport you start/stop and let the smartband collect accurate information on the sport (tennis, squash, mountain BIKING, swimming, etc...)

Thank you very much. I hope that smartband will not be abandoned in the near future product

  • Apple Watch continues to pulse messureing

My Apple Watch stops the messuring pulse about 3 Minutes after the beginning of a workout.

in Helthapp, I see a messure pulse after the start up to 3 Minutes, then it stops frequently.

The next point of messure of pulse is if I stop the workout, it'll be 1 or 2 hours later.

    Any idea?

    Hi Michael

On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > Workout - if it is currently enabled, disable power saving Mode.

Otherwise, the following steps may help:

    • Close all open applications on your iPhone to them and then restart your iPhone and your watch:
      • To close open applications on your iPhone: click twice on the Home button, and then drag upward on each preview of the app.
      • Both devices turn off together, and then restart your iPhone first:
        • To turn off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off.
        • To reactivate: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

If the problem persists, I suggest you contact Apple Support (mail service may be available) or make a booking Genius Bar in order to have your watch checked under warranty:

    Hello

There are seven symbols that are related to windows media player on my laptop near the power button... I could close with touch first conducted before, but recently it does not work, I could not close all of the led or rather the power button close to ligtings on my laptop... I know that I don't have a big problem with my laptop but it is important to me, if you could help me with this, I'd be happy...

    Hello

The first button turns on and off lighting
I think you have some problems with the installed VAP (value added package).
This is why I would recommend reinstall this package again
    Firstly uninstall the VAP system.
Then restart the device and download the Toshiba VFR pilot European page.
Then install again, reset the laptop.

In order to get the FN button to work, you need to install the Flash memory card Support utility.
If you use Windows 7, then you can download this tool updated Sat L500.

    LED power button fix

    Toshiba
    Satellite P300-h-13

    By Thom
    Wijtenburg

First of all, I would like to
say you that I came up with this correction, after a clean reinstall of the
Vista. (I used the serial number of windows on the bottom of my laptop for)
install, so it's the same license as the OEM of windows and therefore
Tout_a_fait legal.) After the clean install and installation of all the
the drivers listed on the site of toshiba LED power button (also
known as the mute button) and the CDDVD butten (mediaplayer button)
stopped working. After browsing around forums toshiba I found
this case, I removed the support button utility that the mute button has acted as
a mute button. Also the mediaplayer button worked fine. Reinstalled
the utility support for the button and they have stopped working. After many
toshiba calls (I think about 5-6 in one day) they opened a
support ticket for me, because they (team support callcenter)
could not find a solution. Following their advice, I did the
next to try to make it work:

    * Don't have a system restore with the restore DVD.
    * Do you have an another clean install.
    * Install the drivers in various ways (alphabetically reversed by alphabetical order and order of collection DVD).
    * update my BIOS.
    * downloaded a 'new' version of value added package (which was the same thing I already had).
    * installed the VAP with and without technical support button utility, no changes.
    After doing everything
This, they said that they did not know the cause of my problem (at the beginning
they thought it was hardware related). They came with a possible
    anwer:

    "It is."
possible that we removed some features of windows vista
operating system so that our one utility for device drivers
work. In addition, we do support the configuration, that we delivered
When you bought the laptop. »

    Now of course, I have
understand that. I waited allmost a week, no response. Neither
by electronic mail, or by phone, so I decided to google more
    on the problem.

    After a certain
some research on Toshiba forum and Googling I came across
a thread that sayd I must first install the utility 'control '.
and the button press. Unfortunately what it did not work.

    Then, all of a sudden
Windows displays a message saying that I should install the TOSHIBA.
"ACPI-based value-added general use and logical device driver.
I clicked on the provided download link, and the VFR package was a newer version
version of the support page for my laptop which is held. So I downloaded
This PPV version 1.17 and installed it. After a reboot, the buttons
still did not work. But at least I got the file HWSetup.exe, where I
could turn the LED off. Look into the button holder utility, I have
saw that there where buttons like "Toshiba Assist" which my
    the laptop model is not.

    Navigation
through the toshiba forum I found a file named ButtonSettings.ini, in
which I can manually configure special keys. After a google
search on the name of the file, I found that all the buttons list
in a registry key. I saw the "Dimmer" file using the button
folder and clicked on it. Poof... lights went out. Click again,
Poof... lights turn it back on. So I replaced the wrong button definitions
with CDDVD and dimmer values. Saved my changes but is not a restart.
Opens the support button utility and change the path of
MediaPlayer (who was always there to a previous definition) to
Dimmer.exe. checked to see if the button CDDVD pointed
MediaPlayer and restarted. When everything has been started, I pushed on the
button again and presto... MUTE lights off. Pushed again, poof...
lights. Pressed the mediaplayer button and started to mediaplyer. I have
has been very happy when everything worked.
    Now that you
know the story, here's the fix.

    * Difficulty: *.
    * Download and install the new VAP from here: [http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/support/downloads/util_tvap_26084A.exe]
    * Choose Edit in the installation and make sure that everything is checked
    * do NOT restart after the installation.
    * Download the ini fix and the fixed registry
    * Uncompress its contents into your working folder.
    * Copy the ini into C:\Program Files\TOSHIBA\TBS (where C: is the drive of program files)
    * In this same folder, start the exe called TBSbtnSt.exe
    * do NOT restart, click on 'no' in the dialog box.
    * Double click on the registry key, and then click 'Yes' to add to the registry
    * Then open the button support utility by clicking Start-> Toshiba-> utilities-> Toshiba assist. Help go to optimilization and click support button tohiba
    * If the path or the description is disabled, fix, and then click Save. See also if the CD/DVD mediaplayer points.
    * Restart you computer now.
    * If everything is is well past your special buttons should work.

    * WARNING: *.

    It worked for
me, with my Toshiba Satellite P300-h-13, edition windows Home premium 32-bit.
It should work on any model of 6 buttons with the mediaplayer and the mute
buttons. I am in no way responsible for any damage that may arise
If the fix does not work correctly. There is absolutely no. GARUENTEE
It will work for you. If the answer is Yes, he does, and if it's not it
    doesn't work.

    * Author: *.

    I came
With this fix by myself, without any help from toshiba support. I am
the original author of this text. This document is for information
purposes and should not be modified in any way.

    This page is
also hosted on my Web site for documentation purposes. I have
contacted toshiba support on my support ticket and has asked to

Wow, that's really cool! I think that a lot of users here would appreciate this extraordinary well documented fix.

    Hello.

I have a Satellite L40 - 15G that will not start. I click the power button, or with the battery, and only the power led alternately. I can open and close the cd/dvd, but nothing else works. No beeps when I remove the memory, the hard drive led blinks even. I tried with another hard drive, and it's the same thing.

Could this be the motherboard, the processor?

    Appreciate the help!

    Hello

Unfortunately, it looks like a hardware malfunction. I guess that it s related to the motherboard or perhaps CPU, if you have already tried another memory module.

You should go to an authorized service provider. Guys have good diagnostic tools to check your laptop and repair. In addition, they can order spare parts Toshiba.

Sorry, but everything that s what I can say. Here he only a user to s forum

After you have installed all the drivers and Toshiba of the corect order downloads, the button to turn on the power lights does not work.

And I tried to install HDD protection Utility but the installer returned an error like 'cannot be installed on this model.
Do you know why these problems?

    Thank you very much
    concerning
    Daniel

    > After installing all the drivers and software of Toshiba by order, the button to turn on the power switch lights does not work.
Please check the BIOS settings. As I m not wrong not it takes an option called LED illumination or something like that. There you can turn on and off.
Also, try to customize the special button of TOSHIBA using the Toshiba control utility.
There are also some useful options.
But to be honest I n not know exactly if this button doesn't work with Win XP. Maybe this feature is not available in XP.

    > I tried to install HDD protection Utility but the installer returned an error like 'cannot be installed on this model.
This error message appears if you try to install a tool that was not designed for this series of laptop.
The U400-12F seems to belong to the PSU40E. Check if it s a good tool.
