• Folder icons do not show small image of what's inside

  On Vista, I would like to add a folder with pictures in it and the record would show a small picture of pictures on the edge.  I uprgaded to Windows 7 RTM and Vista old records still show that I mentioned, but all folders that I created with Windows 7 are just ordinary regular folder icon no matter what size see you on.  Any ideas?

  Thank you!  A bit silly as they did in Windows 7.  Your suggestion helped.  I did it another way, using the same method, I guess.  Before moving my new image files in the pictures folder, let them on the desk for a while.  I created a new folder on the desktop, all new records fell in PIC, in properties/customize I optimized for photos and clicked on the default option of restore below.  It worked, you can drag the folders back and they now have the icon of content on the edge of the record.

• Why external folder and files not showing in the files Panel?

  I think that I rescued my first external stylesheet to my root folder.  First of all, I've defined a class and under the rule definition and I chose the New Style sheet.  When the "Save Style sheet file as box came I give it a name general external_styles.css and recorded in the working files, save."  Then I set the CSS rule for the class and chose options. Finally, I save the page as a .htm file in the job file and it see the does'nt upward in the files Panel.  I also tried to save the page as a .htm in the folder root and it will not always be displayed in the files pane.

  I have trouble understanding the structures of files.  I'd appreciate any help to explain how to record the first style sheet external as it appears in the Control Panel files, otherwise I understand that I can not edit them or put them on the remote site.

  I use first elements on Windows 10 13. I created a Flash movie using pan and zoom, I then added other things like the areas of text and audio tracks separately. I would now like to divide the instant film, so I can change it, but when I highlight the film instant in the timeline panel and then make a right click on the option isn't there! I don't see an option to break the Aprt Moments but that is grayed out.

  Any ideas how I can separate this instant film?

• Find the folder missing - does not work.  Help, please!

  Someone had this problem?  It drives me crazy.  Any time I rename or move a folder and try to use the option 'Find the missing folder' it does not show one of my hard drives!  It has been like that, through several updates of LR.  I continued to pray that the next version of lightroom would fix this, but so far no luck.

  Restart your Mac, then try to run the software update as follows:

  First of all make sure that the printer is turned on and connected to your Mac or on the same network.

  First of all, you say 'My computer' and which is used with XP (Vista only use the computer).  It is a forum for Vista.  If you are using XP, please repost in the XP Forums: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/windowsxp where the people who specialize in XP issues will be more than happy to help you with your problems.

  I'll assume you are using a version of Vista.

  To display hidden files, go to start / Control Panel / folder Options / view and check the box that says show system and files hidden.  While you're at it, uncheck Hide extensions of known file types.  Click OK and you should now be able to view hidden files in Windows Explorer.

  Regarding research option goes, there are many parts of the search options and I'm not sure you mean you.  Could you please be more specific.  On what screen is it (Start menu, Windows Explorer, the search screen screen,...)?  When you say invisible do you mean you think that it is there, but just do not show or it is missing entirely?  There is an empty space where it belongs?  What's on this one where it is missing or there also as well?  When did start?  Have you installed a new software or hardware recently (maybe just before the problem started)?  Have you ever been able to find the research here, and his absence is something new?

  I hope that some of this aid and I'm waiting for your answers to these questions.

  If you have one machine to another,
  Then, click Run, type Regedit, go to the next topic & select export.

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden

  Copy the file on the problematic machine, double click on it & select Yes.

  If you do not have another machine,

  Navigate to the registry entry above & change the values as below:

• XP toolbar based on the network not showing folder does not icons after sleep. Is it possible to "Refresh" w/o reboot? __

  I have a couple of toolbars (right-click Taskbar, toolbars, new toolbar), I created the network folders. More often than otherwise (used to not be that way a few years back) do not show the icons on the toolbar after the release of the standby mode. I can right click and choose "open folder" and reach the places I need as a work-around, but that beats the purpose of having the toolbar.

  I would like to have a way to refresh/reset the toolbar and have the icons without rebooting (or deletion / recreation). An hour or two, they made their reappearance - of course like to know what sequence of events caused that. Select / deselect the options to the right click (show the title, text, etc.) on the toolbar does not make the icons reappear.

• Show hidden files and folders option does not

  I'm trying to access a hidden folder, C:\programdata\... I can't see it in Explorer. When I go into control panel > folder options > discovers... the option box to display hidden files and folders is already selected.

  I tried to change this option to not display hidden files and folders by selecting the radio button, and then clicking on apply. Then I exit the menu display. However, when I return to the menu display the radio button beside display hidden files. That is to say it is not "saved" change.

  I changed other elements in the advanced example view menu Hide extensions of known file types, and it works very well.

  I was not able to find this problem in the forum. Of course, I have restarted my pc. I don't know when this problem was that I don't often get this hidden folder.

• Cannot find folder options to show hidden files.
