OS 64 bit Windows 7 for refurbished computers? 4 sale?

I am considering buying a new drive of Windows 7 systems for my computer. The description States that it is for installation on a computer refurbished. All comments from people who have bought the disc are positive. The disc has a key of unused product and is priced less than $90. Is there anything that I should be suspicious of? What is a refurbished computer? It will install n a new computer? Thank you.

Well, there is nothing that prevents you from installing on your computer, but it is only for use by authorized service center.

You cannot use your XP/driver's license drive to install on 2 computers.

A single license is a single Installation.

You will need to buy another drive XP/Licence either online: newegg, amazon or try to repair your computer local store to buy it.

  • Need driver for 32 - bit Windows 8 for Alps touchpad on HP Pavilion dv4000 CTO Notebook PC fix scrolling.

Cursor Alps touchpad very well, œuvres just need to fix the movements and scrolling.

I know this is an older laptop that came with XP Pro, but I wanted to extend the life of it and everything works fine with the new installation of 32-bit Windows 8 Pro.

    Thanks in advance!

    Solved!

Google "alps touchpad driver for windows 8" & after trying a few, the following fixed my touchpad scroll (he also added additional Win8 functions, such as edge shot left for the bar of charms, etc..):

    http://kurtsh.com/2012/09/16/download-Alps-touchpad-driver-for-Windows-8-for-Lenovo-G360/

I had to remove the already installed driver first via Add/Remove Programs (like her whining on would not find Alps version, or something like that), then installed the new driver & restarted.

Although the new driver for lenovo, it worked great for my HP dv4000 (p/n PC253AV).

    Hello.

I formatted the hard drive and I've replaced Win 8 with Win 7 64 bit. I had a lot of pilots to work (from various sources). But I can't get the USB controller and the graphics driver for this system on this pc.  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hello:

You must install the AMD chipset driver that will install USB controllers both SMBus.

You want the first file on the Web page.

    http://support.AMD.com/en-us/download/chipset?OS=Windows 7-64

Use this driver for the graphics card.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-103954-1 & CC = US & DLC = in & LC = on & os = 4063 & Product = 5275619 & sw_lang =

You can also install other drivers and software you need to model (g7z-2100), but do not use BIOS or firmware downloads.

  • I need a driver 64-bit windows 7 for a monitor HP 1955

    Hi Jim,.

HP is not specific W7 64 bit driver for this monitor.  You can use the generic Windows driver.

See page A-2 in this Manual.

This problem just start?  Did transfer this monitor to a new PC?

  • Where can I download a driver 64 bit Windows 7 for hp CDDVDW TS-L633N on my cpq60-615DX

    EDIT-

I forgot to say that I tried to update the driver from the Device Manager device window and the result was a message saying that it could not find a newer driver, installed was correct.

    Another EDIT

Also, I don't say that I uninstalled the device through Device Manager. After the system restarts, the drive was found and software installed but the problem remains.

    --------------------------------------

    Original message follows:

    System: CPQ60-615DX

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

    Drive: hp CDDVDW TS-L633N

Installing Roxio software, Creator 9, a driver unusable, are part of one, has been installed. Now that the device does not work.

When I see him on the list of devices on Windows Explorer, I went to the Manager of peripheral and found it was marked with the 'problem' icon (exclamation mark on a yellow background).

In the general tab device status box.

A driver (service) for this device has been disabled.  Another driver can provide this functionality. (Code 32)

The following information is displayed for the device:

HP CDDVDW TS - L633N ATA Device Properties windo

    Driver tab:

    HP CDDVDW TS-L633N ATA Device

    Driver provider: Microsoft
    Driver date: 21/06/2006

    Digital signer: not digitally signed

It seems that the creator installation installed the driver but not one that works. It could be a problem with Windows 7, or the fact that this facility is 64-bit.

I searched HP website and cannot find a driver for the device. When I look at the list of drivers available for this system, the optical drive is not displayed.

I downloaded and installed the program to search for the driver HP - or whatever we call it - and he ran. There are no devices listed in tab "Optical Drive" when I looked at the results - he could not 'see' the reader.

I realize that what I need is probably a generic driver of MS, it is why it is not displayed on the HP site, but how do I find the right one for this unit?

Is there a generic 'one size fits all' driver for Windows 7 which can fly this aircraft?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Bob and Simon

    I fixed it.

I hate when someone post a problem and then when they fix what they post only - it - fixed with no details.

Here is how he is now.

Installation, I tried a Sonic product install a driver that is not compatible with Windows 7 64 bit.

I tried several fixes and the problem remains.

I then started a search on the name of the driver file Sonic showing details of the driver for the device - PxHlpa64

    I found this page - http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=34118

Scroll through the text (or search for it)

Remove the problematic filters of your registry:

    2.

    1. create a backup of your registry. See here for how to do it.
    2. download ImgBurn (freeware).
    3. launch ImgBurn and go to tools > filter driver load order...
    4. Select "PxHlpa64". Click to remove the selected filter. Select "ASAPIW2k." Click 'delete the selected filter '. Click OK.
    5 reset.

I had already installed ImgBurn (it's a great piece of software for CD/DVD that will do anything - it isn't a ripper, it is a CD/DVD burning tool)

I have the poster said to do and when I rebooted the system, the problem was gone.

  • Driver for 64-bit Windows 7 for USBBT100

I have a USBBT100 and trying to make it work with a new Windows 7 64 - bit PC. On the back of the card, there is no worm. No in the list, so I guess than it is hardware version 1. The CD has a note on the label saying worm. 2, and the device has just bought from Amazon last month (4/2010). There is a list on the back on the date of manufacture showing 8/2010 (go figure). I downloaded the drivers v.2 of the site, even if they indicate a release date of 2005 and allows them to install the unit.  After a reboot, it didn't work (present an X in the device mgr.) The drivers on the CD appear to have the same change dates that I downloaded.  Does anyone have a suggestion on where to find the updated drivers? The Microsoft site indicates it is a compatible device and gives a link to download the drivers, but this indicates just that these same drivers since 2005. Thank you

USBBT100 is not compatible with Windows7... You can consult the data sheet on the linksys Web site.
