OS from Smartphones blackBerry falls down during a restart. How to recover the operating system?

My aircraft crashed due to loading applications third 3rrd. I get a message on the screen "Reload Software: 552' when I turn on the camera." The handset can be recognized by the Desktop Manager when it is plugged. The handset keeps all its functions until the OS is restored or recovered. One option is to go to authorized service center. But it is hundreds of miles away to go to sleep. Is there another way I can work personally to get it back. Anyone to help?

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Here's a knockout who deals with this error:

Hello and welcome to the community!

From a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your exact model of BB number) to a BB via this procedure:

Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC. You can even use a different OS package carriers simply insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML. remember that you remove from your PC, no matter what other packages devices OS BB as having more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

  • Move from Vista to Windows 7 AND transfer on a different hard disk operating system

I want to upgrade to Windows 7 64-bit and in the same movement of time the OS Vista Home Premium 32-bit & a Seagate 80 GB HARD drive to two 250 GB hard drives in a RAID configuration. I intend to replace the 80 GB HARD disk with a faster drive Windows XP, so I find myself with a dual-boot system.  Apart from the exchange of small hard drives, the system will be unchanged compared to when I activated Vista.  Since it seems I have to reinstall all the programs on W7 in any case (damn and the breath), I wonder if it will be necessary (for reasons of product activation) or useful (for operational reasons) to first clone Vista to the larger players. I am aware that Seagate provides cloning software, also free that 250 GB seems a little bit today - but he will do well while this PC is still working. In case it is relevant, the Vista is OEM (I built the PC and I bought Vista with the motherboard), but I will get the retail version of Windows 7.  Most experts with thanks...

    Hello

We cannot move the operating system from one hard disk to another. However, we can install the operating system on another hard drive or take the whole operating system if necessary system image backup.
NOTE: You'll have to do a custom Setup to upgrade to the 64 bit version of Windows 7.
Windows Backup gives you the opportunity to create a system image, which is an exact image of a disk. A system image includes Windows and your control panel, programs and files. You can use a system image to restore the contents of your computer if your hard drive or computer ever stops working. When you restore your computer from a system image, it's a complete restoration; You cannot choose to restore individual items and all of your current programs, Control Panel, and the files are overwritten.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones "BOLD" falls down too often

    Hello

I had this problem for some time. I don't remember if my phone used to hang when I bought first, but I think that this problem came later that I started using it.

My OS version is: v5.0.0.400 (I think it was later) and platform (5.1.0.110)

I noticed that my phone often crash when I use the browser on the phone, ex: while on facebook, it crashes just randomly and also when I use the facebook for blackberry application. It's only when I play these two tasks that my phone freezes. My phone carrier is SFR (france). When I say it crashes, I mean it hangs for one or two seconds, the screen turns white and then followed by the light. then it just restarts.

    Memory status:

    FreeSpace: 75.8 MB

MediaCard freespace: 1.7 GB. (don't have a lot of things on my phone, I made also the memory thing cleaning but it did not help).

I read through other similar forums but couldn't find a solution. I also tried to uninstall the fb app but the browser of the problem still there. Also it does not matter if my wifi is enabled or disabled, the phone falls down again.

Someone could suggest a solution to this, and also why this happens only with the browser and fb app?

First of all, this isn't the latest version of the operating system for the 9700. I know you can get OS 6, if you wish. Don't know if your carrier offers it yet or not, but many are.

I'm going to guess that the particular operating system you are using has a problem. Try to get a new one and installing it.

  • OS from Smartphones blackBerry torch 9850 7.1.0.580 not updated.

Hello, just download the last sprint update for my flashlight from the swdowload website and installed on the PC. When iconnect my camera it does not detect the update of the new facility of 7.1.0.580. I am currently using 7.1.0.402 which is a leaked version. I use the desktop blackberry 7.0 software

    Hello

You did not, so I can't tell if you are a Sprint customer or not... or, more specifically, whether or not the VendorID of your BB is Sprint. But, this OS package comes from one carrier other than the carrier that your BB was built, on your PC, and then remove all copies of the SELLER. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

Now run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC. If, during the process, your BB votre BB a '507' error, simply unplug the power cord of the BB USB and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

In addition, make sure that you just installed, on your PC, a packet of BB OS... with more than one installed on your PC can sometimes cause problems.

Alternatively, you can bypass the Desktop software and proceed directly to Loader... from a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model exact number) of a BB via this procedure:

Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC. • Smartphones blackBerry 'Fatal Error' when you try to update via the Desktop Manager

    Hi all

I hope that there, a genius will be able to help me.

I received and email from RIM this morning, which suggests an upgrade to the current version of the software, that I tried.

It is passed through the implementation of procedure, checking the current version (4.0.0.174) and checked for the latest version. I followed the procedure on the screen instructions showed. The Director of office went through the routine, saved running, then turn off the radio, then as he arrived at the 3/11 TI threw up the "fatal error has occurred during the upgrade. Please try again ".

So I tried again, but the same thing happens.

Curiously, if I go through the device and try a wireless upgrade, it says there is no upgrade to run? !

    Weird indeed.

Even weirder: I just through the upgrade wireless setting, and the device says I have version 4.7.0.141. This does not match the version I posted above! Huh?

Apart from this little problem, I love my Storm! It is the second device, I got it, the first storm put itself and was generally a pain, it seems to behave itself.

    Any help gratefully received

    Matthew

Yes, check with your carrier to see if they have released a newer version of the operating system. I think it's a bug somewhere in the Office Manager. I've updated to the latest version offered by my company, but whenever I use the Desktop Manager it tells me of updates are available. It happens to a lot of people on the boards. I simply cancel in the command prompt

  • My Smartphone blackBerry torch do not stop restart

From App World, I installed an adidas miCoach, after the installation, I got permission. After that, my flashlight close a reboot and you don't have to restart again and again on the first screen. The only black. How can I fix it?

If you are able to access the device with BBSAK?  If so, you can use the OS wipe feature to turn off the device, and then reload the operating system.

Make sure you have your operating system of choice, installed on your PC to recharge.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones earlier versions of the operating system

I think to update my "BOLD" to the OS 5.0 but I wanted to know if the phone will keep a version of my old OS or if it deletes it.  I saw a video on youtube and the guy he said he 'could' save a version of it.  Also, when I checked the updates on my phone it says it was not all available even if on the Desktop Manager, it says that there is.  Is it still useful to upgrade? I've seen a version of it on an other "BOLD" and others that texting is a bit different and the camera being much better it looks not very different.  Because I hate change, I'm not sure I want to take the risk.  I wish you can customize the download and choose what is updated. If I update and it does not save a previous version of the operating system is there somewhere on this site that will allow me to put it back on?

The upgrade of the OS on your handheld does not keep a copy of the old operating system, when the new operating system is installed.  If you do a backukp through DTM then you will have all your data and applications (not BlackBerry).

If the upgrade does not work well, you need to go back to the previous operating system that works.  Then, you need to restore your data and applications.

  • BlackBerry 9550 smartphones - cannot load the operating system and a re-boot loop

Sorry if this is going to be a long post.

I've been running OS 428 and a hybrid (428 based) since it was leaked without a hitch. 2 weeks ago, my 9550 rebooted on its own with a JVM ERROR 534 (I think it's the code because the screen just turned white with the error message and then rebooted on its own). He never started up properly then. The boot process dates back to about 3/4 of the way then the FMV of error appears again then re - start. A batt pull does not help.

I wiped and loaded (loader.exe) operating system but when loading cod, it will again restart (reboot occurs when email.cod is loading). Tried several times and never loaded properly. I tried a load OS 428 right and it went well. When it is started successfully, I wiped the device and loaded the hybrid that I used before and everything was fine. When filtered 451, I upgraded and everything is fine - for a week!

He has just restarted on its own again. I think with the same JVM error code! I'm unable to load the operating system using loader.exe. I even tried the "loader.exe /nojvm" switch does not. I wiped with Jl_cmdr or BBSAK, still no go. I then used DM BB. I loaded OS 320 and loaded correctly. Then I wiped and loaded the OS. It is not load or when it loads successfully, the JVM error still appears 3/4 of the way of the boot process.

So when I load OS 320, it will load fine even after a battery pull. If I use OS 428 or 451 (both narrowed via Shrink-a-BONE), JVM error no longer appears when using the device or during the startup process. Don't forget not that previously I was using either straight (shrunken) 428 or 451 and a hybrid with no problems.

I decided to try a derelict OS 451 and used the "Platform.alx" of OS 320 file. It works so far! Pulled the battery about 4 - 5 times already and loaded all my apps and no JVM error for about 2 days. I tried right OS 320 and he also re - will start on its own several times a day.

It looks like completely wipe the device using BBSAK, Jl_cmdr and DM BB do not really completely clear the device.

What could have caused the reboots and error JVM?

EDIT: I tried to wipe the device using the erase option in the security options. The status bar has reached 100% and then restarting the device, the FMV of error pops up again and my 9550 goes back to a continuous process of reboot (even pulled the battery).

EDIT: I tried the command line "javaloade.exe usb - cloth" to wipe the device and the OS loaded (using loader.exe /nojvm) very well. In the end, shippers said "updated successfully". The unit restarted and about 3/4 of the way - another jvm error! I removed the battery and wait a few minutes before re - insert and is currently the starting now... Will update what's going to happen...

EDIT: Yes! It finally starts. Will try an another battery pull... 1/4 of the way in which the boot process - another JVM error! Pulled the battery and restart... Error JVM still about 50% in the boot process.

EDIT: Can't get any OS to load using 'loader.exe' or 'loader.exe /nojvm. It stops during email.cod loading, then restarts. I was able to load OS 320 well via BB DM. problem is when I click on Options, error: "error starting net_rimm_bb_options_app: symbol KeywordFilteredScreen.» KeyChar "not found" is my watered device? Help, please. Thank you!

EDIT: I tried to load the operating system by:

    -remove the battery.

    -Connect to the PC.

    -Command prompt: command /nojvm loader.exe

-When it says connection to the device and the battery with a red 'X' icon is displayed, I re - insert the battery.

-The operating system loads very well but are unable to properly start like 3/4 of the progress bar startup occurs an error in the JVM and then reboot again. Help!

--> Was able to start properly after a second reboot not forced. Will try a battery pull... JVM error again... Will allow it to boot on his own w/o a battery pull...  Error JVM... Removed the battery, re - insert... Error JVM... allowed to start on its own... Error JVM!... I remove the battery and reinsert after 5 minutes... JVM error yet... What is it recharges without end?

Just had my 9550's replaced and all of the good mother!

There is no 'BONES' at this level... you're probably citing the "software version", which is something different. Reference:

    • Article ID: KB23393 How to check the model number and the version of the OS on a BlackBerry smartphone

In addition, it is not the true latest version available... However, your carrier may not have approved which is more recent (at least two since this version, I think).

    paluza wrote:

Here, in this community from user to user, anyone know (or if they know, reveal) this forward-looking information.

There are other alternatives, but they depend on some things...

If you used the "automatic" methods to perform the update, this process may well have led to a corruption that is the cause (many related things). Or the version you have installed may well have this fault (many report these).

In any cause, the thing to do is to reload your operating system properly and see if that clears up the problem. Or, update to the really newer version and see if that clears it. The method that I recommend for your situation is autoloader... refer:

With automatic charger, you can install any OS you can find a valid automatic charger, since regardless cases your carrier has approved or not. You can also use the ADF to return to any level of 'work' OS you want. But, honestly, I recommend you use an auto-loader to install the most recent version, then see if things clear up - if not, then use another automatic charger to retreat.

    Good luck!
