  I'm in the quest to replace some aging PCI-5640R. I am currently using as a portable-Journal data solution, mounted in a Magma Expresscard to PCI box with a laptop. As a reference of the time, I use a Symmetricom XLi.

  The equipment is dependent on the sampling finished a set of samples once a trigger signal goes high and also receive antenna azimuth information using two lines PFI more. The signal is sampled at IF, 30 MHz, and the signal is less than 5 MHz bandwidth.

  Now, I started watching the Ettus X 301 with a GPS OCXO and MXI-express interface which should be the same as the USRP-295xR NI. It is available as device NI RIO with three different front ends, unfortunately, none of them work at 30 MHz.

  Q-1: Ettus has the front-end 'BasicRX', but it is only considered compatible with LabVIEW driver and not necessarily with the RIO. Is the front-end BasicRX usable with the USRP - 295XR RIO and MXI-interface with LabVIEW FPGA? Should I just avoid trying tune the nonexistent LO? As long as he gives me data, I can live with some error messages during the Setup...

  Yes, you should be able to put the basics on your X 310/USRP RIO and use LabVIEW FPGA to receive 120 MECH. / s of the DACs.  The example I posted is in fact not for the precompiled file bit.  The example I posted is for LabVIEW FPGA, which allows you to add the IP address for the FPGA.  There is a sample project that comes with LabVIEW FPGA which is the recommended starting point to build your FPGA application.  The sample project has all the configuration set up as well as broadcast continuously and pads/FIFOs in the FPGA and examples for synchronization.  There are comments in the code example that show where he must add your own blocks of property intellectual as a filter and decimater you mentioned.  The PDF I posted shows what changes you must make to this sample project using the Remora Basic/LF.

  Hi Hussein.

  As mentioned earlier all scripts have been closed on with error Timed out (3750000): Exception interrupted during autoconfiguration.

  The problem solved because I forgot to mention there was conflict of resources on the application server in which grep.exe (process of almost 10/12) were consuming most of the cpu and memory. Had to restart the server to get rid of this process. Once done, there is no contention and autoconfig completed successfully. Compiled by the suite of jsp and the services started. Got the login page and work fine now. Thanks for your help. Nice day...

• Difference between insertion back-end and front-end insertion into a table.

  I develop a conversion program for the tax exemption. For this program the table ZX_EXEMPTIONS is used to fill the data and we got confirmation from Oracle also in this regard. To insert the data in this table take us the max of tax_exemption_id who is pk for this table and by adding one to it and insert in the table. But the problem here is after the insertion of the back-end that we are not able to insert front end.

  It seems that data backend is the tax_exemption_id which is supposed to reserve front data. Please explain the different behavior of filling of tax_exemption_id of front-end and back-end.

  I think the problem is that you do not value max + 1 tax_exemption_id. But as ZX_EXEMPTIONS uses the ZX_EXEMPTIONS_S sequence
  for primary key generation, you encounter the situation as you increase PK Id for this table without increasing the value of the sequence.
  When you try to insert rows from front end - which probably uses the value of the sequence - it tries to use a sequence already used by your backend value
  treat (which he generated by Maxvalue + 1) and then would face a primary key violation.

  I think you need to use the sequence mentioned above for generating your KP login to the backend process. And before that, check the current value
  to ZX_EXEMPTIONS_S, you may need to rebuild the sequence to select nextval successfully for the frontend and backend.

  That would be a security risk with the bad files, virus and open to misuse.

  I don't know if this is the right forum for my needs, but I need to start somewhere.
  
  Currently, we allow the users to search, review and update of data from our database in a web front end. Its very simple and use PL/SQL to query the tables and then HTML to display the results in tables.
  
  It is adapted to our needs for a while, but now we can view and update the tables in their direct format, that is, if I'm filling out a simple form of first, last and email etc. I would like updates to happen because I typed and have no click and update button. The problem that we face is we can only update one row at a time using a button and need to be able to just update the tables that we will.
  
  (A) is - it possible, can you point me to some documents and b) if not otherwise, we could accomplish?

  Rudolf, is not strictly a PHP response, but if I were you, I would check out Apex 4.1.1. It's a wonderful development, free as in "free beer", very easy to use tool and the best thing is that it comes with your database. If you are using a version 11 g, chances are that Apex is already installed, even if a somewhat older version. Request Express, affectionately called "Apex" is available from OTN.

• Front end (web?) for scripts

  Hello:

  I have a task to write a front-end for my users and let them to run scripts through the front-end interface.

  I would really appreciate if anyone can share any ideas how I can do? I didn't even choose which scripts that I use - Perl or PowerShell...

  The idea is that users could run scripts from their desktop computers database - just go to the web page, or a shared folder and choose everything that they need, if it is possible...   I don't want to install any Tollkit VI on the user workstations.

  If it is possible to do it without huge effort's going to be great, otherwise...

  Once again, please share your opinion or if you experience.

  That is exactly the case of the use of VESI, you would have a nice graphical interface and be able to do exactly what you said but the downside of things is that users will have powershell/vi toolkit on machines out there as well as the application.

  If the security you are woried about you can always secure permissions in your VC to allow that to do what they must, therefore, also active through their VI Toolkit cmdlets.
