• OSX Server caching does not work after update

  It was low on my priority list, but the OSX Server that we run in the House for the caching seems to have stopped caching; from what I remember, it was related to the update software to 10.11.4 of what it was before, and server software everything that has been installed to 5.1. Updates both to the latest versions now have not helped. It of kind of frustrating, but all he puts in cache are now asking that makes for itself. No customer request is visible. It worked before.

  There seems to be no useful diagnostic that I can find to establish why the hell it suddenly does not work.

  Platform: Mac Mini, "the end of 2014", bought this year. OSX currently on 10.11.5; 5.1.5 Server

  Network configuration: IP public addresses multiple; several subnets.

  Clients do not use the same IP address as a server.

  Full assignment of the IP of the site listed in _aaplcache._tcp TXT DNS records (plural - because I did it for the DNS records for each subdomain DNS LAN client) using the type prs; DNS is on Windows Server 2012R2. Any length of characters, because they were not specified during the installation of OSX Server cached the required DNS records.

  No firewall is between the server and clients on the local network (only a L3 switch), but obviously, if the customer traffic leaves our network, it passes through a firewall. No change to the rule group since it worked finally.

  The Mac Mini has an interface (with IP address and corresponding DNS record) in each subnet of the client (using virtual LANs), but it seems to register with the Apple servers using its main wired LAN IP (which can reach customers) with the Apple servers.

  Mac Mini connects via gigabit ethernet.

  Wireless connectivity is through a mix of HP MSM and Ubiquiti access points; no system seems to result in customer traffic.

  My understanding of the protocols involved are something along these lines.

  -OSX server registers with Apple, using its normal connection; transmits the local LAN IP address for the cache clients to use; can pass TXT DNS records to help "seed" of customers, or can use the parameter entry in the cache server configuration.

  -Customers use the TXT DNS record to inform the global servers of Apple that they need the IP address of the server cache.

  -Apple returns the local LAN IP address.

  -The customer is for the server cache.

  -Profit.

  I certainly see the first happening party - the Debug.log show apparently successful registration; the cache in the applet Server service is green - but no client request seems to happen.

  in the directory, the file names are much too small.  You want to change font Times New Roman 12, for everything.  Expansion to 124% does not affect the file names.  Don't want to pay for the update driver software as it will not fix this.

  After the ESD, you must import the corresponding models. Make sure you do not import of ESD in the wrong model. Note that the default configuration for DITA 1.2 on the FM band is to have applications separately for each type of topic structure. This means that you need to maintain separate EDDs and sc_results.php for each. The EDD are set up to be shared where transferred (via inserts text), but it can be difficult to keep track of who goes where.

  The best approach is to clone applications by default to make your own name applications, so you can always test with the default applications... because you * will * eventually break something and don't know what happened.

I've been on the Web download NCH site a version beta of beginnings and noticed in the upper corner of the screen number R three in what appeared to be the angle of a roll back page paper. I'm curious because it seemed out of place on the Web page, so I clicked on the number 3 and walla a small window appears with the announcement that they had located three coupons, sure I could look.

  There are no toolbars installed and none in the list of addons. There is nothing remotely involved wit toolbars in the list of extensions.

  Where oh where did this thing come and where I go to get rid of it. It's worse that crapware that obviously has dug in the system settings some how. At this point I saw this thing once, and I think of as a nuisance that threat. But, if anyone has found a way around the areas that we normally look to prevent this kind of infamous for marketing we have a problem in grass in the Department of malware. I hope that someone has had a similar experience and can offer advice.

  I just got a new MacBook Pro with the retina display, which should take the place of my old MacBook 2010.

  (Old and new) running OSX 10.11.1 (El Capitan). I've initialized a new transfer of the former.

  Everything seems to work properly, but the web server.

  I have my html documents in the WebServer directory, just like in my old MacBook.

  The file /etc/apache2/httpd.conf points to the right folder: DocumentRoot "/ Library/WebServer/Documents".

  In system/sharing preferences, internet sharing is checked.

  I tried to manually activate the apache: sudo apachectl start.

  But the result is that, when I try to open a local web page: http://localhost, respone is:

  Safari cannot connect to the server - server 'localhost' is not found.

  Any suggestions?

  This isn't what you think it is. Please, turn off the power.

  There is no user interface on the web server in El Capitan. You will need to either use OS X Server or an application to activate it, or else create a proper launchd job to run it.

  I have my shared network printer installation group policy preferences. I have ensured that the Restrictions point and print are disabled in the parts of the user and the police computer. Each preference has a targeting rule that identifies computer names to apply this printer too and also users run in the security context is selected, both the game as default printer checkbox is checked. Mappings check only 1 printer is defined as the default value with pc.

  When a computer maps the printer on the initial user connection (IE when their roaming profile is created), it appears in the list of available printers and devices, but it is not defined by default. It gives an error when you try manually set as default: 0 x 00000709. I looked into the case of the newspapers that I see that the reason is not defined:

Once this has been done the printer seems to work for subsequent connections by the same user.

  If you don't remove this error persists.

  Anyone know what is happening because of the initial connection to fail map the printer properly?
