Out of memory exception
Out of Memory occurred several times in my application running on Windows server 2008 R2 Standard (Service Pack 1)
I found an exception in the event viewer, but it just once.
Let me know the best solution for this

Hi all
I know there are some discussions about this, but they seem to be dead. I have attached a highlight of easy application and crued my problem. Click the button and it will start operations.
The problem im having is that I am getting large amounts of transaction (lots of 250 transactions) to a server to be applied to a database, inserts updates deletions etc. It works for awhile, but will then blow with the out-of-memory exceptions. The number of transactions can be reduced, but even that batch 1 transaction will result in the error.
The application is made to be used for 5.0 devices and most any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS. I don't there are suggestions to use System.GC() but that with no major problems on the cheek.
Hi thanks for the suggestion, I tried it in the test project and it works, but I tried that in the main project, and she has not which leads me to believe their was another problem.
I discovered that there was a scenerio where one of the instructions was not closed off which means the object was never being destroyed.

Try increasing the chunk size of Java for the agent on which the process is running?
These values can be set in odiparams.sh (you will need to restart the agent for these values to be taken into account)

iMac to run out of memory system [Etrecheck report]
I have an iMac 2013 end (27-inch, 3.2 GHz i5) with 24 GB RAM installed running OS X El Capitan 10.11.5). Whenever Safari is open, it slows down gradually until I get a message "your system is out of memory the application" and several applications have been suspended. I tried to reinstall the OS X without result.
Once a report of Etrecheck indicates failure Drive with 19 errors, I contacted the Apple Support. The tech support guy was not familiar with Etrecheck, but don't think it was a defective drive. He had me DOWNLOAD & running Malwarebytes (did not find anything), create a Test user (which looked OK) and accompanied me through the removal of the caches in the library in my own user (which seemed to work for a while). He seemed anxious to finish my problem, so I let it go. Then he started to slow again. Subsequent reports of Etrecheck showed still drive failure but with only 2 to 5 errors. Now the drive seems fine.
Safari seems to be the cause. I deleted several tabs and off most of the extensions, but it did not help.

What made these disk errors go away? These are almost always bad news.
But in fact: at the moment, Safari appears the biggest problem. Try to start in Safe Mode, followed by a normal reboot.

Warnings of boiler plate:
DO NOT delete files in your folder-> library tree as it has things like backups of your iPhone, your emails, your application preferences, etc... If you think that you found something in your Home-> library folder which can be removed, you must ask first.
DO NOT remove the files outside your home folder, you can end up removing something essential to Mac OS X and transform your Mac into a costly "door Stop."
I want to say that you will find a few very large files in private-> var-> vm (these are Mac OS X virtual memory paging files (swapfiles) and where Mac OS X stores the RAM copy when your Mac is paused). The swapfiles are removed on reboot, and the sleep image will just be recreated when you put your Mac to sleep.
If you think that you found something to remove outside your home folder, it would be better to ask first before deleting. There are many examples of people deleting files outside their home folder, rename files, or change the property or file permissions and then their Mac stops running. Don't be one of those people. Ask first.

The utility file splitting, "LabVIEW out of memory" message...
I set up a quick utility that takes a .txt file and it splits into n segments. The problem I have is that when I feed a larger file in it it gives me an error "Out of Memory". What is a most effective way todo it. Attached you will find the VI. It is written to 8.6 it take part in many, lol, it works very well as long as the file is less than 35 MB.
Here's a passage from 15 minutes to rework your VI. It can solve the problem of memory off and it shows much better style of LabVIEW. You may be able to find examples of similar bolt by searching on this forum.

There are several levels of tab panel system (like this example)

I have reached the limit of the CVI? Are there things to check? (I develop under CVI 2012 SP1).

Node inside the loop - out of memory

I have a Mathscript node inside a Subvi is called inside a loop for. After a few iterations of the loop, I run out of memory. That's why I added another node in Mathcript with the function 'clear' outside the Subvi, hoping that after I get the variables from the node I could erase the memory of the Mathscript, but this does not work, it is always short of memory. Is anyone know how can you delete variable memory Mathscript node, once they were saved in the variables in Labview? Thanks in advance.
You don't even really any useful information to solve the problem. As I exaplained, constantly deleting data sets just to reassign them to the next iteration is generally ill advised, because it causes just more performance and same memory fragmentation issues. It is best to operate locally as much as possible.
Who wrote the code matlab? Maybe it's very inefficient? What is doing? Perhaps rewrite in LabVIEW you gain significant performance.

I would say that you uninstall\re-insatll the game but do not install the patch. Then, play the game and try for awhile and see if the error occurs. It is possible that the patch is not fully compatible with Windows 7, or a piece of your equipment. You can also check manufacturers of games forums for more information on this situation. Cannot read the video error code is 8007000E computer ran out of memory.

I recorded the video with lightwave usb webcam when I tried to read that I got the error message that my computer ran out of memory and so I should close other programs and try again. The error message given is C00D11C6 and gives as origional error code 8007000EYou can help me solve the problem

Adding shortcuts to the installer lead to out of memory crash
I have a collection of about 20 executables I want to consolidate to a single installer. Create destinations, by selecting the source files etc is very simple, nothing special. I wanted to add shortcuts for simple applications, but here the installer / labview is short-term memory permanently. I started the project and Installer freshly, so nothing to comment on. I use LV2012, 32-bit. Here are the steps I did:
(1) adding Destinations and source files
(2) select "positive" in the tab shortcuts, memory directly increases regularly.
10:03 seconds, it already is out of memory.
(4) not enough memory, unspecified error occurred at IB_UI_Page_Shortcuts.vi and CDK_Utility_Prune_Unused_Destinations.vi
Are there patches or known workaround solutions for this problem? I'm looking for something impossible?
I tried several times, but who realized at some point that it consumes too much memory when opening the popup generator to a finite amount of files.
When I had six executables and so on 100 files in the dialog program installation, already happen to over 1.1 GB of memory. By adding the seventh executable and then by creating the seventh shortcut, it would amount to more than 3 GB and LV would break.
I finally solved by manually editing the file .lvproj with Notepad, copy and paste the shortcut properties and then build everything. It worked for me, but is far from practical.
See below that the shortcut list is not complete, in this installer, it should install twenty executables and shortcuts. So there's something fishy about this tab shortcuts...

Operating system Windows XP, at startup, I get the message: "Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable to initialize the store directory. Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full"and displays the error code: 0 x 80007114. Jump here (nothing Bruce suggested is false), I did a search and found this old article (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/245419), which indicates that there is a bad entry under the identity key in the registry (see www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx for background). So if it's a big problem, you can do the steps suggested in this article and that will fix it. Or if you have just one account, then backup your settings and the identity key and then delete the identity key and then start OE and it will establish a new, and you can then set up your account again, and then import the messages from the older directory. But it does not indicate the major corruption, so you can just ignore it.
