Both devices work perfectly well together when connected by cable but not wireless.  Interestingly, my laptop work, also a DELL but runing Windows XP, works very well with the NETGEAR modem.

  I have a Dell XPS 1530, which had Vista 32 bit running. I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate. Ever after that the Bluetooth of DELL BH 200 headset does not work with my laptop.

  The bluetooth adapter and the device is fine since I'm able to search and find all bluetooth devices, including my helmet. However, I get a yellow exclamation on the headset under devices. The headset can be paired with other devices such as my mobile and works very well.

  I tried to update the drivers and reinstall the device and the adapter from the Device Manager. We have a similar setup on my brother's computer and it works fine.

  Another thing to watch, would be what battery is used.  I know from personal exp some devices work with Toshiba stack, vs the MSFT pile up.  Do a search and see if anyone else uses a different battery with these devices.   I have my doubts that the (10.11.5) software is the problem.  Are you sure that the DVD player is simply not defective?  Have you tried to clean the lens?  What is the State of the disc?

  Your best option may be a date at a bar in engineering of the Apple store for a FREE evaluation.
