• Export failed, where is the temp file?

  I'm on version 6 of first.  An export of media has failed in the Middle due to lack of space.  Before export, the hard disk has about 1 GB of free space.  After export failed, the player ends up with 10MB of free space.  I suspect that there might be some temporary files and intermediaries created during the export process.  I checked the output folder and deleted the temp file. But the space has not been recovered.  Anyone else where I should check?

• Loading (without rules file) crashes on EAS on the loading data in the exported file.

  I'm doing a load of data in a database if a file I exported previously and data loading crashes just after taking in the text file. It hangs where it says "press ESC or cancel button to complete the current operation. It is a very small text file that am loading data from. I have to kill the ESSSVR process for this particular application back the EAS to perform other tasks. Am able to do any other tasks very well. Also on our Prod environment we do not have this problem and can't seem to load the data through very well exported text files. Has anyone seen this behavior before?

  This announcement so it would be beneficial to others on 11.1.1.4 with essbase on RHEL 5 server. The answer to the question is in this Doc ID 1531236.1 knowledge of Oracle database. Apparently, it shows only on RHEL 5 and glibc is updated glibc - 2.5 - 107 of glibc - 2.5 - 81. The solution is to donwgrade the glibc 2.8 - 81. Please refer to this doc 1531236.1 if any of you have a similar problem.

• Where the DNG profile editor should install the .dcp file?

  Just made my first attempt to create a profile using X-Rite color checker passport and the DNG Profile Editor.

  Thanks to the excellent tutorial, the process went well.  Then, I took the last step of the export of the profile file (.dcp), expecting to find the new profile, when I open an image in ACR.  Unfortunately, the new profile did not appear in the drop down camera profile.

  After much research I discovered that the profile was written in the folder containing the images of .dng used to build the profile.  Obviously not where he belongs so that ACR to find.   I assumed that 'Export profile' will automatically write the .dcp file to the appropriate location.

  Where the .dcp files should be installed for Win7x64 running ACR, 8.2. ?

  Is there a way to set the default location in the profile editor?

  Custom designed. Profile of DCP files enter the following under your Windows user folder location:

  C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles

  The AppData folder is a hidden system folder, you may need to enable the display of these types of files in your Explorer folder or any type \AppData display options in the folder address box and press ENTER once you get in your user name folder.

  We have BSO cubes that are huge and when I expoted data in files, it generated ABC.txt, ABC_1.txt, ABC_2.txt, like this.
  
  How to load this data in the Cube that sits on the other environments? We use Essbase 9.3.1.
  
  I can load the individual files using EAS data loading? If so, ABC_2.txt then ABC_1.txt and finally an ABC.txt would be the loading sequence back?

  As Essbase is written this block by block, each block will have its complete info if it is done as a single export or parallel export. You can easily prove this (and I have) If you export a database and load only files 2 or 3, it loads without error. don't forget that you load a file rules, the load fails when the first error. There is no error found, so a value of a complete block of information must be present. Also open export (large files can be opened with wordpad) and you will see a complete info for block exery

  I don't know if I hit a wrong button somewhere along the track or what.

  I have a session that I built in the multitrack Editor. I can play very well in the editor.

  When I try to export (file/export/multi-voie of final mix) it generates the wav file and it shows that it has 300 + megs, but when he plays, he does not sound.

  I exported all Essbase database data in a text file with EAS. The size of the file is 1.6 GB autour
  
  I want to load it into the same database on another server with EAS. And each time around 55%, EE gives me the error "No space" available on the device [ServerB]
  
  Here is the configuration:
  -Essbase server: 11.1.1.3 on a linux server has (enough space left for Essbase)
  -Server EAS: 11.1.1.3 on a linux server B (enough space for the data file)
  -EAS Client: 11.1.1.3 on my computer (Windows)
  -Data file: on my computer too
  
  Error messages tells me that there is no space left on the service Regional Server.
  
  Do you know where EE server temporarily load the data file before sending it to Essbase? So, I can increase my file system.

  Why don't you just copy the export more to the essbase server, personally I would not even try to send this amount of data over a network through the Regional service.

• Export Illustrator layers to separate the Illustrator files?

  Does anyone know in AI CS4 how to export layers to separate the .ai files? Or third-party plug-ins to do the same thing? Preference, retaining the name of the layer to the new file name.

  I have a file .ai laminates with 40 layers of versions of logo that I need to export separate files and I would avoid the obvious "save under" and delete layers road.

  Try this. Cut and paste into a text editor and save it in a text file with the .jsx extension. You can either place them in your AICS4 > Presets > Scripts folder and restart AI or run all from file > Scripts > other Scripts.

• Multiple images with the same file name no doubt prevent export

  I'm trying to export approximately 331 images and I get an error report saying that only 169 of the exported images due to the inability to create files for 159 of the images.  Then the report gives me the names of files of the first 100 images for which files were not created.  After looking at many images that would not create a file, I realized that, in any case, there was at least one, if not several, other images with the SAME EXACT FILE name as the image in question.  I can't change the names of files by right click on "info".  I tried to export the images and change the names of files to export using the sequential option and the option of album name - always having exactly the same problem.  I even tried not to export an image at once and change the name of the file individually or no available. Is there a work around that? I desperately need to export those specific images. I am trying to create a photo album for shown to mothers who choose a family with which you want to place their child/ren for adoption. I'm at my wit's end.  The kicker is I'm moving towards trying to export all my pictures, and that's going to be a HUGE problem in course for me, so I really hope that there is a way around this question somewhat simply. I am a hobby photographer and use the computer for businesses and crafts.  I've seen a few posts that included answers referencing "AppleScript" - I have no idea how to do something like that.

  Finder has the ability to rename files with various models of lot.  Simply select all the files to rename, right-click one of the selected files, choose 'Rename X points... '. ", and then set the options and click on the button"Rename ".

• Where are my sent exported files?

  Usually I export simply pressing "share" then "master file" that I can select the destination disk.  iDVD has had problems with my exported files, so I decided to try the option that says '1080 p Apple devices'.

  After its exports I get the window "Successful Action" but have no idea where it put this file.  Do a search for "Apple devices, 1080" comes empty.

  The default value is sent to iTunes for syncing. You can probably find it there. In the future in settings, where it says add to playlist, change the popup not do. This will give you the option of assigning a destination.

• Can I remove my exported html bookmark file after I re any and it merged with my restoration of my old favorites? Even with the json file?

  I recently reinstalled my OS on a new drive and have just successfully restored my old favorite and imported all the new bookmarks that I had saved from the OS install. I just want to know if it is safe to remove the json file I have restored from since it was on the old disk I want to format and I can also delete the html file I created by exporting my new bookmarks until I started this process?

  You can keep a backup of the old file or make backups, backups JSON on the new computer.
  
  You can decide for yourself if you would have a use of this file.
  
  If all bookmarks have been restored successfully, then you won't need the backup, and you can create a new backup regularly if you have modified or added bookmarks.

  Yes, 2 GB to AIFF. B: standard files are limited to 4 GB, but LPX then supports the RF64 WAVE format that allows for files > 4 GB (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RF64)

  You could bounce back to a .wav file or a CAF.
