  • My Outlook 2003 will not my e-mail Inbox, but will send emails.

Abruptly, without modification of any software, my vision has stopped receiving my emails from my hotmail MSN account.  I can send emails but cannot receive in Outlook.

Thank you, Gerry.  I did the repair to my Inbox as recommended article suggests, but it does not restore the download feature.  I was preparing to remove, and then reinstall my connection to outlook.  After moving all e-mails from my vision of the 'Inbox in msn"my vision of"personal folders", download to my Inbox from MSN automatically started.  Apparently, something in my vision of the 'Inbox in msn"hinders this process.  Recommendation: whenever you can't download incoming emails, but can still send from Outlook, clear the Inbox of emails every first and try again "send and receive."  Close to the CCCC

  • BlackBerry smartphone Outlook 2003 will not be synchronized with the Desktop Manager 5.0

I just bought a Blackberry 8900 and have installed Desktop Manager 5.0 on my PC.  I can't get my BB to sync with Outlook 2003.  When I try to configure synchronization settings, I selects the device app and click Calendar.  Then it asks what application I want to synchronize with and I select Microsoft Outlook.  Then I select two way sync (although I tried both of the clocks of a both ways and I have the same message).  I then click on elements only future transfer.  Then I get a runtime error: value of the Option is unacceptable.  Check the properties of the option.  I tried to uninstall Desktop Manager, and put it back - both from the provided CD and also on the BB site.  Any ideas on what I can do to get the sync to work?

  • Outlook Express - will not let me delete any message

Outlook Express will not let me delete all messages?  How can I fix?  Thank you!

You have corruption of dbx files.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and move the messages you want to record off deleted items, and sent items. Locate the OE message store and then close OE.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the Deleted Items.dbx and Sent Items.dbx files and delete them. New files will be created automatically when you open OE.

Compact all folders as described below.

To avoid this in the future:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Information on the maximum size of the .dbx files that are used by Outlook Express:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=903095

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

  • Works Suite 2003 will not install on windows 7. compatibility issue?

Original title: Works Suite 2003 will not install on windows 7. compatibility issue? If so how to solve it.

I tried to install Works Suite 2003 on my laptop using Windows 7, 64 bit. He has a problem loading and wants to perform a clean boot. The boot minimal instructions do not apply to windows 7, so how can I get this Microsoft program on this computer running a Microsoft OS?

    Hello

    ·        Which edition of Windows 7 you are using?

Works Suite 2003 is not compatible with Windows 7. Click on the link below.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/search.aspx?l=en-us&type=software&s=works%20Suite%202003%20&OS=64-bit

You can try the byAndre.Ziegler suggested in his previous post suggestions, but note that XP mode will only work if you have Windows 7 Professional / Enterprise / ultimate.

Apart from this, you can install the program in compatibility mode and check if it works or not.

Make older programs in this version of Windows

Outlook Express will launch is no longer from the desktop. Tried to download a file to re install outlook express but error indicating that a later version of Microsoft Explorer is installed.

Is there a file with Outlook Express and the appropriate version of the Explorer on which can be downloaded.

Do I have to uninstall Explorer 8, I'm sure I do, and I would then be able to use the file? I have download a file called ie6setupOe that has been 492 kb that I thought was Outlook Express. It is a .exe Win32 Cabinet Self Extractor file

I'm on the wrong track thinking?
