Outlook Express error 0x800CCC0D cannot receive emails

Have not been able to receive emails for about a week now. Have been on the phone with my internet provider and hp. I am able to send and receive emails on my ISP's webmail page. I am using windows xp and have micro trend as my anti-virus. Help, please. Not able to get any answers on this other then I need to uninstall outlook and reinstall it.

It has been installed without it and when I stopped him I still have the error. I don't have a router. Don't you think that interferes with outlook?

You're modem and router would be next on my list. Try to reset them both. If they have no reset buttons, simply unplug for about 15 seconds and reconnect. Do the router first, then the modem.

If this doesn't help, can bypass you the router at least for testing purposes?

Other things to look at.

How to troubleshoot the error messages that you receive when try to send and receive e-mail in Outlook and Outlook Express

You can check with technical support RR. They can check if their server can 'see' your modem.

Sounds to me like the malicious software that you have installed ruined some files of Windows and even if you think you've fixed the infection, the files are always broken.  If this happened to me, I back up all my data, collect all my kits installation of software and product keys, then wipe the disk and reinstall everything, restore my backups of data later.

  • Can someone help me with the message of outlook express error 0x800CCC0D. I can't receive emails

I get the following error message: the host 'pop.ipa.net' is not found. Please check that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: * address email is removed from the privacy * Mail account ', server: 'pop.ipa.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, secure (SSL): no, Socket error: 11001, error number: 0x800CCC0D.  I believe I have the correct information, but still cannot receive e-mail.

Its possible your Inbox is corrupt.  Move all messages out of it to another folder created by the user.  Then close OE and delete the inbox.dbx file (hidden).  Then at the start of OE will create a new.  See if that fixes it.

If so, it's a good time to save your messages.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#6

  • I get an error (0x800C0133) message when opening outlook express and can not receive emails

An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'mail.homeloansokc.com', server: 'mail.homeloansokc.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, secure (SSL): no, error number: 0x800C0133 the previous message is the complete error message I get when trying to open Outlook Express.  I can send but cannot receive mail.  The box pop up you will receiver 1 of 68 messages but stops before it downloads all messages and displays the error message.

    Error number: 0x800C0133 = a corrupt Inbox.

Move any message you want to save to a local folder that you create. Then, remove the problem of Inbox as follows.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the box of Inbox.dbx and delete it. Another will be created automatically when you open OE.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. • Outlook Express 6, you will receive emails but have sent emails stay in Outbox, but are sent

I have outlook express 6.  I get messages OK.  "When I sent an email I get an error message that says: some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks.  When I click the errors tab, nothing is displayed.  The tab tasks shows a warning with a sign! in it and "send 1 message...". "Under status it says"warnings ".  The message is sent, but remains in the Outbox in bold.  It must be removed from the Outbox or the program crashes and I can't send or receive anything.  The message is not transferred to the sent folder.

You have apparent dbx file corruption.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

  • Outlook express cannot receive emails because "your spam or junk file box is too full.

Original title: where & how do I find the 'spam' or 'junk' mail folder for outlook express?
I'm having a problem with Outlook Express I can send emails but cannot receive emails.  He said it might be because "your spam or junk file box is too full" but there is no 'spam' visible or "junk mail" box in Outlook express.  Where and how can I find?

According to Bruce, OE has no spam or junk folder, so this file is likely on the server.  Sign in to your e-mail via webmail account and then look for a folder spam or junk e-mail on the server and you can delete the Junk there.

  • Cannot receive emails through my Outlook Express 6 account all of a sudden. I have 2 computers set up with it, a Windows XP and the other Windows Vista.

Cannot receive emails through my Outlook Express 6 account all of a sudden.  I can send messages but not receive. I removed all mail rules and blocked senders and I still cannot receive anything.  I tested it by sending a mail to it through different accounts (gmail, yahoo) so I know that there must be some messages.  I also had people reply to my email that I send to what they do, but I don't get their answers.  I have 2 computers in place, using Windows XP and the other is Windows Vista.  I've never had a problem until now. Any help?

My server contacted me and told me to check my spam using their webmail account, because it was full.  It seems that when I used the rules of the mail I had clicked on delete from the server, just "do not download".  My spam folder was so full that I couldn't receive. Thanks for all your advice!  Mark as resolved.

    original title: outlook express error

Since yesterday I have been unable to receive emails via outlook express. He constantly asks me for a password that we have never had to put forward that she "remembers" the password. If you get rid of the box it then comes up with the following msg

There was a problem connecting to your e-mail server. Your password was rejected. Account: 'pop3', server: 'pop3.ntlworld.com', Protocol: POP3, server response: '-ERR [AUTH] username and password not accepted.', Port: 110, secure (SSL): no, Server error: 0x800CCC90, error number: 0x800CCC92
I can send but not receive emails, have tried a system restore which initially solved the problem, but almost immediately the problem has re-emerged... any help gratefully received... I've tried everything I know, but can not solve the problem. Thank you

See if you can log in to read your mail on the site NTLWorld. If he accepts the password, you may need to reset your password.

  • Outlook express error "0x8007007E".

    Original title: Outlook Express errors

Trying to open OE I get error 0x8007007E; The identity of the connection was not found. Some components are missing or misconfigured. MSOE, DLL could not be initialized. How can I fix.

    Hi WilliamMGreen,

    1. Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    2. When was the last time you were able to open Outlook express on the computer?
    3. You have security software installed on the computer?

    Method 1

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you configure the computer in a clean boot state and check if you can open outlook express.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See section to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    Method 2

If the previous step fails, then I suggest you repair outlook express on the computer and check if it helps.
