Outlook Express does not have a toolbar of spam or any kind of spam program. This must be a third-party application that you have installed.

  • Can not create new email without Spam in Outlook Express - response and transmit works ok.

When you create a new message in Outlook Express - recipients receive messages in their records of Spam or with a message

who cannot open it.  When you reply or forward a message, this does not happen.  What can I do?  E-mail address is removed from the privacy *.

You may have a damaged identity especially if it's the default main identity. File | Identities | Add the new identity. Create a new one and try it. If all goes well, you can import your messages and address book from the old identity and delete it.

Note: Do not use the main word in the name of the new identity.

If this does not solve it, please have someone you send the error message which receive and copy & paste it into an answer here.

  • Outlook Express automatically 'spam' messages... deleted?

When Outlook Express download since my mail server it automatically deletes messages, that he sees as spam and I swallowed in a folder that opens temporarily out of the deleted items folder, and then exits.  But I never find where these downloaded messages and missing persons are passed (and they are not in the McAffee Spam folder).  Where these messages go and how can I find them?

OE and McAfee do not work well together.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 at a minimum, you must disable the analysis of e-mail and antispam functionality and then remove your e-mail account and add it back again.  Then OE should work better.  Even better would be to remove McAfee and get something less invasive such as www.microsoft.com/security_essentials .  But this isn't a matter of OE you meet, but rather a McAfee publishes.  The messages are probably removed from the file and place the file is filled with zeros there where the messages were - that has been my experience anyway.  But then the OE database is not in agreement with what is actually there, and things OE even deleted messages from McAfee are still there.

  • Outlook express cannot receive emails because "your spam or junk file box is too full.

Original title: where & how do I find the 'spam' or 'junk' mail folder for outlook express?
I'm having a problem with Outlook Express I can send emails but cannot receive emails.  He said it might be because "your spam or junk file box is too full" but there is no 'spam' visible or "junk mail" box in Outlook express.  Where and how can I find?

According to Bruce, OE has no spam or junk folder, so this file is likely on the server.  Sign in to your e-mail via webmail account and then look for a folder spam or junk e-mail on the server and you can delete the Junk there.

  • When I do an email upward on outlook express 4, using the method described in Q270670 it backup my spam email. Why?

Email backup - anti spam files

When I do an email upward on outlook express 4 by using the method described in Q270670 I found the file was a massive file. On the investigation, I found that the file contained thousands of files for anti-spam (ca. 6 GB). These fact files does not appear in outlook express in the anti-spam file but only appear in the backup download. It is probably an accumulation of messages anti-spam for 6 years.

    Why is this?

I can't open the dbx files to see what is in them

    Your comments / tips

According to Bruce, EO4 served in Win95 and Win98.  The steps you describe in this article concern OE6, then maybe that's what you mean.

There is no 'anti-spam' files in OE, according to Bruce, and so if you have 6 gigabytes, then it is likely those are the dbx files that contain messages.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#6 for OE data backup.  If you use some kind of anti-spam with OE program, then see point 3 on this page, contact the anti-spam software provider and ask them to explain it.

  • Why Microsoft isn't an option in their email clients (Outlook, Outlook Express, Live Mail, hot Mail) block IP addresses that send spam?

Why Microsoft isn't an option in their email clients (Outlook, Outlook Express, Live Mail, hot Mail) block IP addresses that send spam?

Looks like something aside server.  Not to mention that change IPs and when you go to IPv6, the whole game changes.

What email client you use that gives you this option now?

You can block entire domains...  (Outlook in any case, not sure about the rest.)

  • Claims of Verizon Outlook Express block my emails as spam, not them?

Description of the problem: a few months I get this error message: "the message you tried to send was determined to be of the spam." Please visit http://www.verizon.net/spamfaq for more information. ', port 25, secure (SSL): no, Server error 550, error number of... "when I sent emails, especially with attachments. I was on the phone with Verizon repeatedly, and Verizon claims it's Outlook Express targeting my mails as spam and blocking. They say I have to give up Outlook Express and use their Verizon Online e-mail program. I say it's Verizon the fact, that Outlook Express doesn't have to block the emails.  Only, because Verizon has started using a complicated months ago software spam blocker doesn't I started having problems with my emails are blocked. My wife and I have separate and distinct identities, Outlook Express email addresses, and both, we now have this problem of spam blocking.

Can Outlook express really target my mails as spam and block them, or Verizon blames Microsoft by mistake. I think it's Verizon do.  I have been using Outlook Express for many years, problem free, so far.

    Hi Gary,.

    · What is the error code that you receive the error message?

There is no spam control integrated in outlook express

You can follow the steps mentioned in the Verizon FAQ and check if this may help: http://www22.verizon.com/ResidentialHelp/HighSpeed/Email/Blocked+Email/QuestionsOne/123706.htm

I can't receive a lot of messages due to spam. Apparently I can check my "spamfile" to see what is in it. But how en where can I find my spamfile in Outlook Express?

You will need to probably connect to the webmail of your email provider and do it from there. If you get your e-mail through your ISP (Comcast, AT & T etc.), then go to their website and log on to webmail. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • In Outlook express, how do I set up a 'out of office' message please?

In Outlook express, how do I set up a 'out of office' message please?

If you do this, you must let your computer 24/7, be connected to the Internet and open your e-mail program. If you want to do this anyway, the link below will show you how do it. One thing I would say is that where it says to create a rule and change you it to check for all Messages, and that the rule for the people in your address book. Otherwise you will answer Spam as well and could end up in an infinite loop of rebounds.

  • Outlook Express 6: "Message was deleted without being read? (2)

(Note: I posted this above subject in the Internet Explorer 8 Forum forgetting that Outlook is a desktop application.)  Apologies!)

    Hello;

    1) I recently received the following response to a serious investigation (Outlook Express 6):
    ... "Your message
    ........ To: ****
    ........ Topic: laptop... Sales
    ........ Sent: Fri, * Mar 2011 *.
.... was deleted without being read on "Lun, *"

    2) I don't know how we could generate this message!
If the recipient received the e-mail and read it and "didn't like it" or decided "not to answer', or the message was just displayed on the monitor and the recipient has not actually read the entire message and remove it, can it still send an auto-reply saying:
"... your message was deleted without being read?
It makes no sense! or does?

    3) however, if I add the email address of the sender to the "blocked senders" list, I continue to receive e-mails, but that they would go directly to the folder "deleted items", I can still read if I want, or delete them permanently from the system.
The sender blocked in this case (any) would receive an automatic response: "... your message was deleted without being read?
I have no way of knowing!

    Could someone please clarify?

    Thank you kindly.
    Monir

Then again for the third time:

If you have sent a message to someone with a program bouncing what they consider spam, you can get a response like that.

MailWasher has capabilities of rebound, but I don't know if it's their message or someone else. It is certainly not from OE.

Outlook Express has never had a junk folder. Perhaps you have a spam program that provided your ISP? There may be a folder of junk mail on your ISP's Webmail site.
