Outlook Express trial

I bought Mircosoft Home/Student 2010 and have Outlook Express trial, which has expired. How he removed from my computer. It keeps popping up interfere with my school work. Help, please. I've been through this whole week or I have to buy?

Office home and student includes not Outlook. You have installed the trial version of 'Outlook' separately, therefor use "Add or remove" Control Panel option to uninstall Outlook.

Yes, you will need to reinstall Office 2000. When you installed Office 2010 trial, he removed Office 2000. Once you get the cd, reinstall Office and should be back up and running.

I can't offer any assistance with address number address Outlook Express however.

  • Convert .dbx to .pst Outlook files (from outlook express).

    Hey guys,.

I have searched and tried all the suggestions from Google, but they are not the solutions that I can use. I have the entire Outlook Express .dbx folder just 2 files. I need to convert .pst or at least be able to import them into Outlook 2007. I was able to recover only 2 files .dbx from the old computer and am running WIndows 7 Professional with Outlook 2007 on the new computer that I want to get the 2 .dbx files in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Google shows some converters free and paid, and some of those paid have a trial period.
    http://www.Google.com/search?q=dbx+to+eml+converter&RLS=com.Microsoft: en - us & ie = UTF-8 & oe = UTF-8 & startIndex = & startPage = 1

Note that I've never used Outlook or a converter, it's just a guess. When you use OE, you could drag a folder in OE messages in a Windows folder on the desktop. You can then copy this folder on another machine, open it, highlight all messages and drag them into a folder in OE. Or drag them to a folder in Windows Live Mail. I guess if you got messages as eml, you could drag them into an Outlook folder as well.

  • I want my Outlook Express back!

How to reinstall Outlook Express on my Windows XP?  I had outlook express, but when I loaded Office 2010, it took off Outlook express and put on a trial of outlook.  Now that the trail is over, I want my outlook express back!  How can I get?  I don't see on my system more... I already have service pack 3.

OE is a part of XP, so it's there somewhere.

1: Control Panel | Add/Remove programs. Add/Remove Windows components. Make sure OE is checked.

2: right-click on the desktop | New | Shortcut. Go to the * c:\program files\outlook express\msimn.exe *. Click next | Click Finish.  It will be a new shortcut on the desktop.

3: Control Panel | Add/Remove programs. Set Program Access and Defaults. Custom + down arrow | Select the option for Outlook Express.

In OE go to file | Identities and together a new identity and see if things work very well then.

  • Outlook Express and Windows Vista

I need to Outlook or Outlook Express to open a restore folder.  Is it possible to have both Vista and Outlook or Outlook Express?  If not, what other options I have to open it.

You may not have Outlook Express is installed on Vista.

Outlook Express is the e-mail for XP program, etc.

You can install Outlook on Vista.
Outlook 2003 and later versions are compatible Vista.

  • Outlook and Outlook Express in IE8, compatibility

I just got a little netbook with IE8 on it. There is no Outlook Express preloaded and the trial version Office does not list Outlook like being inside. One of them is compatible with IE8, and if so, how can I download it for IE8?

IE8 doesn't have any connection to an e-mail client. No the netbook came with Windows 7? You posted this in the Vista forum, can so I guess that you are looking for a replacement for Windows Mail? (OE last use XP).

You will have to pay for Office/Outlook. Windows Live Mail is the "successor" of OE and WinMail and is free.

  • How to import Outlook Express 6 directories?

I am currently using Outlook Express 6 with Microsoft Office 2003. How to copy the address book in Mozilla?

There is no cut and paste. Simply not possible.
There are a few changes you can make for Thunderbird to use the windows address book. See http://thunderbirdtweaks.blogspot.com.au/2013/12/windows-contacts.html

Note that the windows address book is stored in a WAB file and you will need to move to a new computer because it does not part of Thunderbird. Later versions of Windows do import the contacts folder to the very simple windows point and click action.

  • My older version of outlook express has several problems, will be these imported into a new account in thunderbird

My older version of Outlook Express has acquired several problems. It is time for a change, these errors will be imported into a new account in Thunderbird. I hope that everything is based on the conviction that the two programs are completely different.

You don't say what problems you have with OE, then how everyone has to guess?

There is no such thing as a "Thunderbird account. You do not have an account with your email provider. To access this account, you can use OE, or Thunderbird.
But Thunderbird isn't your e-mail provider.

    Confirmed workaround solutions:

    • All by composing an email open the address book and select the list you want to send, to highlight all the names in the list and drag them to the To: box. This example uses your existing data without changing it.
    • Replace white "" between the words in the descriptions of these lists with an underscore "_". This requires modification of your descriptions of mailing list (s).
  • Can I send a photo of smaller size in Outlook Express?

It seems that the extension Auto Resize Image fits precisely for this purpose.

  • Outlook express 6 uses Vista to Thunderbird using 8.1.

I have 4 email addresses in Outlook Express 6 uses Vista. I just went to 8.1 on a new computer. How can I move all Thunderbird e-mail accounts including e-mail saved in folders

You install Thunderbird on vista and migrate then move Thunderbird. See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Moving-Thunderbird-Data-to-a-New-Computer.

However, outlook express 6 does not not on Vista, so please do not forget your request.

  • I can't find my outlook express address book after you migrate successfully from the old computer. The "Address book" tab shows that local address book empty.

I move from a Windows XP computer to a Windows 7 computer. My old computer has Outlook Express. I've migrated successfully my emails and messages archived in Thunderbird on the new computer. I also migrated the Outlook Express address book using an external hard drive, but I was not able to understand how to find the Outlook Express address book in Thunderbird. The only way that I could find the Outlook Express address book, is to go to 'tools' and 'import' and then import the Outlook Express address book. When I do this, the Outlook Express address book features, duplicate entries (because I imported twice now). When the Outlook Express address book shows, it works without problems and I can use it to send emails. But once I close the Outlook Express address book, I can't find him. Other messages, I see that the "Address book" tab in Thunderbird should open a window containing a list of available on the left side address books. But this window in my computer does not display a list of address books. There is just a blank window for the address book personal (it has no contacts inside) and there is nothing on the left side.

in the display (alt + V) address book menu > layout > directory pane.
